Those early 2000’s GMC’s are usually great trucks. Especially with the 6.0. I’ve never heard anybody say they have no power till now. Must be geared high. Mine pulled good.
Just got my 3rd c30. Been wanting a k30, but cant afford the dumb prices. The last c30 I picked up is a runner. Has the 12 foot bed, building a custom flatbed soon. Made a good will it run video for my channel. Keep the nice vids coming man. Love it
As a person in the rv industry 11 years in service this is great watching the old moldys. That maroon truck will need love like any old square but they will take one hell of a beating. I've towed many campers and plowed with one very similar. It was on 05 extended cab 2500 6.0. Couldn't kill it. Pulled 5th wheels way over its weight limit not one issue
You have my most respect on your red truck. I wish I can give you 10 thumbs up (or even more), because I have a 1993 Nissan truck that still out lasted my wife's car (2001 Kia = she sold it about 2 years ago and today I still have my truck)... lol.
I like the jolly green and s10 content but this…THIS is it chief! I love ol red and I’m a big fan of the gmt800 platform but did like hearing what you don’t like about them. I respect your opinion on a lot so even if it’s bad I would like to see some more content on them. But as always man you’re killing the video on top of working for a living! They stopped making good ol Chevy trucks in 1969, all of them after that year are completely junk, nothing against your square body, they have there little problems too, 1 like hoods bend, and door jams hinges crack, and the wire junction block always lead to problems with the wiring on the square body’s, if you squeeze the window opening you can close the gap, lolll,nice good ol junk fords and Chevys dodges too, 1969 or newer, lolll praise Jesus grace Christ amen 🙏, thanks BigAl California.
I got an 02 duramax and 02 6.0 liter both 2500s but ill hands down take my 94 k1500 over them only reason I even have them is the k1500 don't like towing loaded dump trailers lol
Buddy i know how you feel i spent $12k redoing my 2000 gmc 1500 . i mean everything frame swap , engine,rear end , transfer case, and mount , all new brake lines ,e brake cable ,new rear brake backing plates ,water pump ,new transmission lines .after spending all that money and getting screwed over by a so called friend i don’t have 4x4 shop couldn’t get it to work so i had them remove front drive shaft . now transfer case is leaking

That's good to know that they are wide because i have big very very extremely wide feet that are 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe with very fat wide toes that are straight across instead of being at a 45 degree angle like most toes are. My foot outgrew shoes , socks , & boots 35 years ago & flip flops is the only Footwear that will barely and I mean barely fit my foot because my foot is wider than the flip flops straps. Wearing flip-flops in 20 and 30 degree temperatures outside is starting to get brutal for me now. I hope I can find a pair of these Crocs that are wide enough to fit my foot to keep my toes warm. If you dont want that first camper you picked up with ole red ill take it iv been looking and looking and i can find a camper that i can afford where i live they want $3000-8000 for a gutted camper me and my wife are looking for a fixer upper to fix and live in we have property to put one on we cant even find a place to rent thats affordable
ill be flat out honest with you man, you were asking for problems doing only half the brake lines. should have taken the extra time to do all the lines the first time, and then you wouldnt be here complaining that the lines you didnt replace blew out on you.
The ones that blew were replaced already. If you look you can see a new line is the one that blew. Your right tho when its stock once one goes they all should be done.

Don't you think these are too NICE to be junk at least the first two looked ok. , More like poor Covid-18 caused few tenants not to be able keep up there rental and couldn't pay. I hope they went though all proper paper work to have them towed away. they do have Title, pretty much same as car At least in PA. you have to submit a garage lean too sale with a (salvageable title) to be able recoup your loss. but giving something away for free sounds wrong. . some could have liens against them... hate see guy get hemmed up in some illegal action... Cause park owners really don't care, they'll tell you any thing make room for new renter...
All the campers come with titles and keys. Unless they are over 20 years old then they don't need titles in Connecticut. I only work with the high end campgrounds/resorts so there is never an issue. I have delt with some sketchy campgrounds in the past but ill never go back.

That ls engine will last forever, but the trucks haven't stood the test of time very well. That's when you have guys like me who harvest them lol

After just spending thousands on my 06 2500 chasing ABS issues. I look at my 74 C30 dump and just wonder where things went wrong... I feel your pain.
For that kind of money you could have replaced the whole ABS system a few times. 🤔
