This album was one of those from the 70's where every song was a potential #1. A great band that had symphonic cohesion in their compositions. Great songwriting and performance. They are even better live.

I see Kansas and I automatically hit like! Kansas in the 70’s was very progressive. Most people don’t get past Dust In The Wind or Carry On Wayward Son but they have a huge catalogue of music that is epic. I saw them live in 1987 and twice this year. They are incredible live. When you get a chance you should listen to the entire Leftoverture album. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for reacting to this amazing group!

My favorite band of all time... by far. They just announced a week ago that they're doing a 50th anniversary tour this summer, starting in June. These will be 2 hour + shows, and I guarantee you this song is one they'll play as part of this tour. You should really see them on this tour if it's within a few hours drive of where you live, it's WELL worth it. I've seen them 5 times since 2016 and they do not disappoint. Go see them, you'll be SO glad you did! Not many bands can even say they have been able to hang around for 50 years, much less still be touring and making new music too at that point! They released a new album in 2020 called "The Absence Of Presence", and it's fantastic!

I also think Steve Walsh is the greatest male rock vocalist, super underrated, I wanna cry every time I listen to him sing. As a testament to his vocal prowess, please react to Journey From Mariabronn (his greatest studio vocal performance where he vocalizes for a straight 40 seconds), The Wall, Icarus - Borne On Wings of Steel, or Hold On (another disay of vocal showmanship). Take it from a 17 year old Kansas fan, their music transcends time into every generation. I already saw them twice and will see them twice again in June.

This is a perfect album. You need to listen to the whole thing from top to bottom in one sitting. It will change your life as it did mine when I was 12 years old in 1976. I went from a classically trained violinist to one that just wanted to rock and have long hair and a long beard like my hero Robby Steinhardt the violinist of Kansas. Which I did achieve 2 years later when I grew my first beard at 14 and let my hair grow. All because of this record.🙂🎻🎸

Every musician in this band is top notch: Steve Walsh(lead vocals/keyboards), Kerry Livgren(guitars/keyboards/main lyrical writer), Robbie Steinhardt(violin/vocals), Phil Ehart(drums), Rich Williams(guitars), and Dave Hope(bass guitar) Their hits would be Carry On Wayward Son, Dust In The Wind, Point Of No Return, Song For America, Portrait/He Knew, The Wall, Play The Game Tonight, Fight Fire With Fire, etc.. Since I'm a major Kansas fan I love all of their albums! I recommend listening to the studio versions of their songs first and then delve into the live versions! Thank you for reacting to one of my favorite bands of all time! Just my opinion but Steve Whalch had the greatest male voice of any rock band period ! When Kansas split he went on to have a solo career With songs like 'Hold on' Which really showcases his vocal abilities !! Another great song by Kansas to check out would be The Wall ... Carry on my wayward son and dust in the wind are great songs but they are so played out in the reaction video world , They've now become overkill , That's why I suggest "The Wall " ... ✌️

The entire album is worth a listen
    Not a clunker on it
Kerry was on a creative songwriting high here
    Kansas still tours steadily today
The only original members are the guitar player and the drummer (although their current bass player and sometime vocalist, Billy Greer, has been with them going on 40 years) they have a VERY talented lineup currently. Does the original proud
They were blessed with two great singers in their heyday (1970s)
Robbie Steinhardt (the "fiddle" player lol here) sang the lead on this one. RIP. He passed about a year ago
Steve Walsh was the high counter vocal (and the organ player)
Walsh (in his prime) was untouchable as a singer. Truly, a gifted voice
FYI: the bass player is Dave Hope
Dave also converted to Christianity (thru Kerry' guidance) and is now a minister in Florida.
He overcame a heavy substance abuse problem
So, Miracles out of Nowhere indeed! :-)
    Suggestions from this album
    The Wall
    Cheyenne Anthem
and if you want a wild epic/ride..Magnum Opus
    It'll floor ya
BTW: Carry on wayward son is also on this album. This album saved their careers. A HUGE hit in 1976
    Rock on guys (and gals)
