I’m crying at both Steven being stuck on a cruise with a super fan and Ryan and Mari pushing through a 16 mile bike ride through the hills of France, not wanting to admit it was a bad idea 😂
I love how Ryan really gets into the nitty gritty of the human psyche. Like when we are the ones to come up with a plan that goes awry, we stubbornly refuse to admit it. Or maybe it’s just us petty prideful people who can relate 😁
I had 4 classmates in high school that were stuck on that poop cruise Shane mentioned. While they were on the news having the worst time pooping in plastic bags and eating onion sandwiches, on our classroom whiteboard we had a drawing of a ship with stick figure versions of them on it saying “help us” and tally of the days they were stuck out there. It was kinda messed up
It's only taken two episodes (it really only took one episode, actually) for this to become my favorite podcast. And I mean that not just as a Watcher fan, but a podcast fan in general. I love this, you guys. Also, the absolute fucking cutest moments in this episode: - Steven learning to become human through Tammy - The unabashed joy and wonder in Shane's voice when he says "Christmas markets" - Ryan saying the capybara with a bird on its head is like him and Shane - Shane being so passionate about bird calls, and so good at them - Mari's little face of regret on the train in Monaco (but she was a total badass about the situation) - Everyone's reaction to Ryan's perfectly timed, perfectly planned "deez nuts"
Time to get stoned with Steven and drop some deez nuts jokes. Maybe too many spirits, replaced with bongs. Each episode Ryan, Shane get progressively more stoned.
I love this podcast so much. I’m really struggling with being lonely atm and dealing with a lot of stressful shit and it’s so cosy to watch this. It’s Like that point where you’re comfortable enough with your friends to hang out when you’re feeling kinda crappy and they’re all just talking as you rest and listen and occasionally laugh along with them.
I’m picturing Ryan trying with everything he’s got to hold in that “I told you so!” once they hit their first hill, and Mari probably let him know with one look to keep holding that thought in 😂
nothing could make me as happy as hearing Ryan saying good things about Culver's. he didn't try the curds tho and that is frowned upon in my community(the midwest)
Just for Steven, who wants to see animal friends: PBS has a recurring short-term show called Spy in the Ocean. A recent episode was filmed of sea creatures working and playing together. It felt like watching a Disney movie. One episode showed dolphins playing with whales. It’s not a bird on the head of a Capybara, but it’s close.😉
I agree with Shane about learning animal/bird noises. Squirrels actually have a weird chirp or TRILL lol. Originally I thought it was a bird. Once you know what they sound like, you tend to hear or see them more often. Good topic! Lol you guys should do comment topics for like the last 5 min of the show🤷🏽♂️😂🙏🏽
❤ Requesting Lim be in the center and that the book case moved over so it isn’t blocking the Watcher on the wall… maybe a shelf instead lol sorry the composition is bothering me 😂 Love the pod thank you for the extra content ❤
I didn’t realize they appeared in my local news until I was walking past the living room tv that my parents were watching and there they were! I love it!
As a kid I enjoyed Mediterranean/Aegean/Baltics cruises - admittedly growing up in the UK made those more financially feasible trips for my family. Lots of stops, like travelling experience tapas.
i have long been a lover of culver's chicken tenders, but its an absolute tragedy that ryan didn't get cheese curds. he would have loved them. now i'm craving culvers but i'm away at college and there aren't any around :((
"This is actually happening" is amazing they did like a 5 part series on the rancho tehama shootings, and it is so inspirational and harrowing. i unironicaly said, "Oh my god did you survive" while the person was literally telling there story.
Loved the bike story from Ryan. The parts of a trip when things go wrong and you’re sweating bullets is no fun while you’re going thru them, but they are always the most memorable parts of trips and you almost always look back on them fondly.
I have to tell you guys, Thank You so much for getting into the Podcast world. I am a super commuter going up to LA (I have 2 - 2.5 hour drives one way on work days) and this is the content I need to sustain me.
I loved Steven's story about his wife and their walk. I thought it was very touching. And Ryan, for Culvers you need to try their cheese curds and concrete mixers.
I dont think I have the energy to talk to a shane and a ryan for 1 hour, they constantly have ideas they throw into each others sentences, its so funny xD Love them all
I love that Shane brought up the poop cruise because I think of that every time cruise ships are mentioned. The poop cruise is one of my special interests at this point. It’s one of the more fun cruise ship mishaps
Cruise mishaps is a weird niche interest of mine (which is weird because I also love going on cruises), but the poop cruise and the logistics around how it happened are so interesting! The story of the Costa Concordia is also one that I rewatch a lot.
I've spent many a summer vacation biking through Europe with my parents. Ryan's story awoke a lot of memories in me. We definitely pulled similar stints, took way too long routes, missed trains, even took the bikes on a bus definitely not made to carry bikes. I command their bravery and that they pulled through it with their relationship intact. I definitely considered putting myself up for adoption regularly 😂
nah nah Steven i totally get you on the optimization. usually walks for me are all about the steps and the talking and then there's my sister yesterday making photos of every fall-painted leave she can find. she's a biology major so that explains it ig but damn is it boring to just wait for her
I didn't know that bird call was a cardinal! I just learned a new fun fact. I immediately recognized Shane's impression lol. Also that was kind of Steven's wife to help that hummingbird!
When I was in high school our marching band took a trip to Dublin, Ireland for the St. Patrick's Day parade and appeared on the Today Show. Al Roker rushed up to the drum major to interview while she was marching backwards conducting the band at the same time.
Shane there is a board game called Wingspan that has so many birds that you get to collect. And if you get the digital copy, whenever you play a bird you get to hear their chirps.
Shane wanting to go on a Viking cruise down the Donau is absolutely hilarious, no one under the age of 60 goes on those. They have trivia contests, shuffleboard, and schnapps tastings; he'd love it.
I just moved to LA and the hummingbirds is one of the first things I noticed! We put out a hummingbird feeder on our balcony and they visit sooo many times during the day!
The sponsor break with no sponsor is so fucking funny to me idk why
My biggest takeaway from this episode is that Mari is an absolute fucking badass
Yea it must be awesome to be around Shane Ryan and their buddies on the regular
THE CHOICE TO LEAVE THE CUTS IN TO GO TO BREAKS WITH NO SPONSORS IS SO GOOD LMAOOO
Or maybe it’s just us petty prideful people who can relate 😁
the bike story is so fucking relatable tho 😅
I want a cross-stitch of every sentence that comes out of Steven's mouth
All of them. Just pure comedy gold
He’s so uniquely cross-stitchable 😭😂
Weyhey cross stitch crew 😂
Watcher cross stitch for life!
WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS MENTION ‼️‼️‼️
COLIN ROBINSON
I always wanted a dog called Colin Robinson 😂
I’m screaming omg
literally was about to hoot & holler at that point!!! like
Colin Robinson steals that show 😂
I was about to type, “I was promised a deez nutz…” comment in the wrap up & then Ryan got me.
He got all of us
the transition into no sponsor has me HOOTING
I had 4 classmates in high school that were stuck on that poop cruise Shane mentioned. Lmao
😂😂😂😂
I have to say, as a French, the idea of taking a city bike to a different country is hilarious.
“that’d be like Shane & I if we were animals” immediately after “THAT’S RIGHT” lol no hesitation whatsoever and i live for it

Mari is such a badass 🙌 wow!
Time to get stoned with Steven and drop some deez nuts jokes. Maybe too many spirits, replaced with bongs. Each episode Ryan, Shane get progressively more stoned.
I would pay so much money to fucking watch this they don't even know
They could get a cannabis brand to sponsor!
I would
Pay to see this whole channel
steven talking about tammy is so cute
Watch them get sponsored by Dee's Nuts 😂
i genuinely thought steven was the most normal one.
until now.
Weird BuzzFeed Stories? I’m all ears. I bet there’s a compendium of them.
Steven learning to slow down and appreciate nature and all the lil things because of his wife is so sweet 🥹
My cats became super interested when Shane was doing the bird calls lol
Congrats Ryan on successfully landing a deez nuts joke !
I love this podcast so much. I’m really struggling with being lonely atm and dealing with a lot of stressful shit and it’s so cosy to watch this. Paleontologist and avid birdwatcher here! This episode felt made for me
All birds are dinosaurs 🦜🦖
@@jeremyeagan4442 yep! I guess that does make me an avid dinosaur watcher as well xD
I was gonna say, Shane's Cardinal call was very good
@@TappedKarma right? :D
Ross from Friends is that you??
being from Kentucky, hearing Ryan talk about how he doesn’t know what a cardinal sounds like is a reality altering experience
I’ve seen every episode of this podcast and this is the funniest one yet
I’m picturing Ryan trying with everything he’s got to hold in that “I told you so!” once they hit their first hill, and Mari probably let him know with one look to keep holding that thought in 😂
Not Steven callling dogs Aliens!?! 😂
But also thanks for this podcast! Ive been in need of new content, i appreciate the candid convos!
This podcast could be 2 hours long and I would watch all of it! Love this so much!
nothing could make me as happy as hearing Ryan saying good things about Culver's. he didn't try the curds tho and that is frowned upon in my community(the midwest)
Steven is really just listening to this podcast like the rest of us 🤣

Ryan truly done did gotten with deez nutz that left Shane shooketh.
I love how Ryan brings up the "Why sitting like that? Scared to show pig?" thing and then all three of them start sitting that way. 😆
They should have the wives on one episode! I would love to hear their interactions as well 😊
Kind of shocked Ryan’s never been on a Disney cruise

Do it for the “Berry of it all” is so funny.
I didn’t realize they appeared in my local news until I was walking past the living room tv that my parents were watching and there they were! I love it!
Steven and Ryan : let's talk about married life !
Shane, also married : actually shut up we're talking about bird noises
I love being a Watcher Podcasts Pod Watcher Listener
I've heard that Alaskan cruises are one of the only ones that are really worth it.
As a kid I enjoyed Mediterranean/Aegean/Baltics cruises - admittedly growing up in the UK made those more financially feasible trips for my family. Lots of stops, like travelling experience tapas.
i need these to be longer 😢
I second Ryan on his take of Culver's tendies. Truly some of the best tendies in the game BUT he should've gotten cheese curds😔
also, the pot roast sandwich is to die for
i have long been a lover of culver's chicken tenders, but its an absolute tragedy that ryan didn't get cheese curds. he would have loved them. now i'm craving culvers but i'm away at college and there aren't any around :((
exactly!!! also the cheese sauce is essential to the fries and i think he missed out on that too
Culver’s chicken tenders are legit my favorite tenders ever. So so SO good
Y’all should do a movie recommendation segment!🍿
I would love this! Especially cuz Shane and Ryan are cinephiles
They kind of do on top five beat down I think. I could be wrong though lol

Culver’s fries in the Wisconsin cheddar sauce.
for an upcoming pod watcher- can we PLEASE hear about how ryan and mari got on ant man quantum mania?!!! i would love to hear that story
Every time i hear that change of topic noise, im gonna be secretly happy that i was there at its inception...

the pause for ads but then no ads playing is so funny
The first convo topic being deez nuts is truly the essence of watcher
My comfort people, i love you all ❤
Matt Berry is such a legend, Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd, Toast of London, and thats not even factoring in his music career.

Colin Robinson being a yo-yo master 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ryan's bit at the end had me literally applauding. Love this show. Love watcher.
I am so happy, this just released when I sat down for lunch!!
I loved Steven's story about his wife and their walk. I thought it was very touching. And Ryan, for Culvers you need to try their cheese curds and concrete mixers.
Love how Tammy made Steven into more of an actual human 😂
I don’t hear people talk about what we do in the shadows often so this is really nice
I really love how you guys pretend Watcher has never had podcasts before. 😂
We need a longer episode 😢
this is how I learn that that chirpy whistle I hear randomly outside...is a cardinal lmao
I dont think I have the energy to talk to a shane and a ryan for 1 hour, they constantly have ideas they throw into each others sentences, its so funny xD Love them all

Al Roker’s cousin is Lenny Kravitz
Thank you for doing a podcast. I need audio content o listen to at work.
The non-sponsored sponsor break killed me
EDIT: There's TWO?!
I’m so glad Ryan got Shane. Worth it.
i want a buzzfeed tell-all!! plz :)

I didn't know that bird call was a cardinal! I just learned a new fun fact. I immediately recognized Shane's impression lol. Also that was kind of Steven's wife to help that hummingbird!
as a culvers chicken tender stan i’m so happy theyre getting the attention they deserve
Can all of us Midwestern Illinois nature fans recognize how Shane's imitation of a cardinals chirp sound well and very on point!!!!

Shane wanting to go on a Viking cruise down the Donau is absolutely hilarious, no one under the age of 60 goes on those. They have trivia contests, shuffleboard, and schnapps tastings; he'd love it.
Loving this podcast. I don’t do any usually, but this one cracks me up. Keep up the good work boss men!
It’s about time you guys have a podcast. Please never stop! You guys are the best.
Steven is the MVP of this podcast so far. His story about his wife was very sweet. Let the man talk!
I saw the news segment! Made me happy that the host was a fan 😊
I think the reason why I like these podcasts is because I enjoy seeing my boys on the screen together, like in Too Many Spirits
Steven needs a dedicated segment i feel, his vibe is so mellow.
I'm so happy this is back!!
They SURE WERE on the morning news here in the Twin Cities! I was SO EXCITED when I saw you guys!
Honestly impressed by Shane's cardinal song
Loving the new podcast!
Love that Ryan got the buffalo chicken tenders! They are my favorite fast food tendie!
I was watching that dude eat a bunch of food from Cheesecake factory... you got me... hahahha
I just moved to LA and the hummingbirds is one of the first things I noticed! We put out a hummingbird feeder on our balcony and they visit sooo many times during the day!
I adore What We Do In theShadows. The energy vampire. Hilarious!
This could have been 3 hours long and I still would have wanted more. Fun job, guys!
