I like this pod cause the idea of talking at length about topics that only a select group care about, like pens, has turned out to be more relaxing than boring. I kinda tune out at times doing other tasks and then tune it and I didn't miss anything that would mean I can't enjoy the rest of the pod. 10 outta 10 for chilling

i love theme parks and i love the idea of thsi new park but i do worry about the environmental ramifications of building MASSIVE new theme parks 😭
i was sick a lot as a kid so i watched a ton of price is right. bob really reminded me of my grandpa so that was a big reason why i found it so comforting, kinda shocking and unexpected to hear that theres people who exist that havent seen any episodes 😭
i also watched let's make a deal a lot lol, and jeopardy followed by wheel of fortune was a family event in my house during dinner. then in later years it was who wants to be a millionaire and deal or no deal. there was also press your luck, pyramid, ninja warriors, are you smarter than a 5th grader, etc. game shows were a huge part of my upbringing needless to say. however we only very occasionally watched family feud. i think because my mom was a bit of a prude (for lack of a better word, i dont mean this in a negative way) and didn't like the innuendos that often made their way onto the show haha

Seeing Ryan next to Shane always had me thinking he was tiny. But 5’9 is actually pretty tall. I was expecting like 5’4 idk why.
Ryan needs to do more research about Hardrock Park, which unfortunately went defunct after its second season open, but was one of the coolest theme parks I have ever been to.
So which pencil does Shane like the most? I love the pencil segment. I’m a stationary nerd. 😂

okay im a wwe fan and its actually hilarious to me how timely your convo about wanting the rock to wrestle again is because the rock literally DID come back to wrestling literally this past friday for the first time in 10 years and passionate wwe fans are pissed and caused an uprising online because he essentially inserted himself into the huge wrestlemania main event this year and stole the spot from their hardworking fan favorite. the rock also now owns part of the company that bought out wwe recently so everyone sees it as a disingenuous/selfish business decision. its been a huge thing going on in the wrestling world right now and over the weekend. no matter when this was recorded the timing of this is hilarious, i had to do a double take at that stretch of convo.

edit: Like I'm an extreme example but a little advice from me if you have some unknown illness that your doctors thought was mono but then all the tests come back negative. That does NOT mean you are ok and safe to try jogging on a treadmill! Bad Idea! 0/5 stars experience.
@@ceeceepg I totally get it. I have chronic joint pain so have constant fear of a flare up after working out. I started doing 2 mins here and there and gradually built it up. Hope your doing better. 💙
I love pencils...my OCD is the eraser on the pencil, not the lead. The eraser has to be perfect. Not a fan of mechanical, my father always bought mechanical. And...people who use pencils down to the nub ☠️. No.😅
Good episode, I've never done a game show, I grew up in the valley, live in San Diego and had tons of Price is Right tickets pass through my fingers..never went. I'd like to see your two minds play a simple board game like checkers to see how you strategize against each other.. old school.

One of my all-time favourite game shows is a show called 'Pointless' which is essentially the inverse of Family Feud, as the goal is to think of answers, while correct, that as few members of the audience could recall as possible.
Never heard of it but a super interesting concept

Most life changing advice I ever received was ten years ago when my friend explained to me that the human body was designed to poop from a squatting position. So when you’re on the toilet you should either place a stool under your feet, or just lift your knees (by raising your feet onto your tip toes) to form more of a squat, which helps the poop slide out more easily.

As an IBS girlie this has saved my life on numerous occasions. In high school I had a teacher show us commercials for “ridiculous products” to show different ways ppl can skew data/manipulate you to buy stuff. One of the commercials was for the “Squatty Potty”and I couldn’t bring myself to say that it definitely worked cuz how embarrassing would that be. She was really railing on it tho and I just sat there knowing how wrong she was.
@@natalietipsword9677 yessss!!! That’s exactly what it was for me, too! My friend showed me the squatty potty commercial and we were dying but then she told me how and why it actually works and it changed my life! I never had the actual product but I’ve found ways to makeshift one over the years 😂
