My wife was never a big Willie Nelson fan (though I am). I took her to see him in concert about three years ago, because I thought she should see him since he is getting older. We were just talking waiting for him to come out. He just kind of walked out onto the stage unannounced. I said, "Look behind you, there he is..." She turned and saw him walking and she said, "Oh my God! It's really him!" and she started crying. I asked her why she was crying and she said, "You hear about someone like him your whole life and he's like this legend and then all of a sudden you see him and realize he's real!"
Of all the tunes Mr. Nelson recorded in Country Music, I believe this was the one where he hit it the most. He will ALWAYS be The Ultimate Outlaw, and no one will EVER equal him. Nice job, Willie!
