I remember rewinding the part where he stabs the werewolf evil kid with the bannister and it yelps in this way I found incredibly hilarious. It just sounds so lame for a werewolf it was ridiculous. The part with the fang teeth on that lady was really scary looking.
Dude you are killing it man, I have to come back and watch this when I get time, but Fright Night is THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're so cool Brewster!!
Yes same he was so fine to me! Especially in the chin scene. Then fast forward to my daughter being that age and she fell in love with him too when we watched it 🤣😂😍
I know right! I was so excited when I found the Fright Night Soundtrack CD on EBay for 25.00,now some our less expensive on EBay now.Sadly the Brad Fedel Score is very expensive. You got good taste in music!
I'll never forget the first time I saw this movie on a vhs rental, it really gripped me as a kid and now in my 30s watching that movie again I can see the actors were just kids with such baby faces. Such a classic and cool movie. I would have loved to see that movie in the cinema for the first time in 85 when it was new.
I also saw it back in the day as part of a triple horror feature for $3.25 at the Capitol Theater in Philadelphia. I was around 14 years old. Great movies, good times.
I was an extra in a movie called “Road Raiders” in 1989. Actor Stephen Geoffreys, who played “Evil Ed” in “Fright Night” was also in this movie and I would occassionally see him during breaks between scenes.
I met the entire cast (except for Peter Vincent character)years ago at an event for a poster signing so this is one of my favorites from back in the day.Good job finding more of these locations.👍🏻
One of my favourite vampire movies. Great cast with Chris Sarandon absolutely smashing it as the debonair Jerry. Thanks for the obvious effort you put in and some great trivia you added.
We're the same age and we grew up with great movies. Fright Night and Near Dark are the BEST vampire movies ever. You an American Werewolf In London fan too?
It's great how you go from Kurt Cobain's house to filming locations. Fright Night was a staple of cable during the 80's. I can't tell you how many times I watched it.
Oh my the memories! I never got to rent this film but seeing the art work on the cover brings back so much nostalgia of me walking through the rental store on Friday nights.
Love this! Fright night (along with the Lost boys) is one of my all time favourite films, although I always chuckle at Jerry Dandrige’s choice of wearing sensible knitwear in a night club 😄
Fascinating! One of my all time favorite childhood movies. I still watch it today.. Thanks for contributing this. It's always so interesting to see the original filming locations especially so many years later.
Great video. I was 13 when Fright Night hit theaters. So it became an instant classic for me as I had already become a horror fan well before my teens.
You’re SO RIGHT about Fright Night and Near Dark being good films, I could watch those movies over and over again! I have the soundtrack for Near Dark, I gotta say, Tangerine Dream did such a marvelous job! 🧛🏽♀️ This is so cool!!! Thanks for sharing!
Huge Fright Night fan here. This was very well done. I really appreciate you taking the time to show us the filming locations. I would have never known otherwise.
This was awesome! Thank you so much! You did great with what you had to work with. I love this movie. First saw it in gr 6, back in the mid 80's, my neighbour had it on VHS, he was a year older and was allowed to rent the cool movies. I also watched The Warriors at his place and other movies he had taped on VHS tapes, like The Hitcher.. what a classic that was as well. it's my all-time favourite Halloween movie, along with Christine. Keep up the great work!!
Wow this is fascinating! Thanks soo much for filming this! I loved this film as a kid. First watched it on tv as an 11 year old way back in February 1992.
I love it when you insert the movie clips into the real locations. I'm from a small town and the guy just lying there sleeping on the street creeped me out.
Stumbling across this video made my day! Absolutely my favorite vampire film, memorized the entire movie script over a summer in the late 80's, watching it over and over.
I absolutely love this! All of it. The music, the art, and the clever classic horror movie references! My son and I found ourselves sitting for what must have been 10m entranced and expecting a movie to begin. We wanted the characters to come alive, the three who were walking down that terrifying street of horror. U should consider making this a read through like a book or short film. Honestly, I think it's got potential to be a feature length film. Bravo. Love it
Your content is awesome! One of the very few channels I recommend to other like minded grim individuals. Thanks for all the hard work that it takes... Stay Grim!!!
I LOVE watching your filming locations videos! First off, you choose the BEST movies to do. Second, you put the work in to get the shots lined up right. Fright Night is an awesome 80's horror flick. Thanks for doing this one!!!
My favorite commentary is when you’re talking about the “weird seductive dance”, lol! That scene always gave me second hand embarrassment, but it’s so great at the same time! Fright Night is one of my favorite vampire movies, and Chris Sarandon is the epitome of a perfect vampire, worldly, handsome, sexy... I’ve met him a handful of times! And I’m glad he made a cameo in the remake!
Remember taking girlfriend to this , we were in our sophomore year , great memories. Great Vid, love you're original approach and clearly the passion you've got for 80s Hollywood Horror. Thank you
I loved this, cheers for making awesome content. Fright Night is one of the best 80s vampire films. Would love to see you do one of these for VAMP 1986.
Thank you for sharing this! I have been a fan of Fright Night since I first saw it in the 80s. My favorite film of all times. And, I did have the pleasure of meeting the cast in 2016. But, this is such an extra bonus!! You are awesome!! And, you remind me so much of Jim Carrey. 😄 Thank you for taking us back to our childhoods!!
This is my all time favorite vampire movie! I got my picture taken with Chris Sarandon at Comiccon a few years ago. So glad you made that video! Thanks!
Ive gotta say I've been watching so much of your content lately mate, Constant uploads its been brilliant, My wife id like lets watch a movie and ive been addicted to these, I gotta say theres just something brilliant about watching movie locations it brings back so many happy memories, Great job to both of you 👍🏻 From England 🏴
So fun and interesting. I love you guys' videos! That concrete column under the bridge wasn't faced with wood, though. What you're seeing in the 1985 movie are the impressions of the wooden blanks used to originally set the concrete - the same impressions you can see today. They're just more distinct, because less weathered, in the movie.
At 13:01 never knew that was an Ian Hunter song when Jerry's dancing with Amy... it's a long way from Mott the hoople...! Another great video my friend 👍🏻
I first saw this movie back in 87 and loved ever since then. Good video boss, it's too bad you couldn't show us the studio sets where they shot Charlie or Dandridge's house scenes.
fright night was my favorite movie of the 80s thank you for showing all the filming locations i find that fascinating there must be a lot of work to do
Awesome vlog, I love this movie!!! As a SoCal native, it does make me sad to see how bad the homelessness has gotten in L.A. and how downhill the city has gone over the past 10 years.
Another belter from my teens! I think I saw it on VHS from Blockbusters in the days when they had 40 of the new release to catch on a Friday. A great surprise to discover this classic!! 80s vampire horror is a special genre, we were super lucky to have our teens then. As Holyweird says "hashtag grateful".
My friend used to have this movie on vhs. Must've watched at least half a dozen times at his house. It wasn't until a few years ago around halloween that it came on tv and I watched it again. Brought back a lot of memories. I remembered everything in the movie like I did when I was a young kid watching it.
Fright Night, especially the first part is one of the best vampire movies for me. I like the romance and the naturalness of the actors and especially the songs. Especially the scene on the dance floor I liked very much. The 80's just made wonderful movies. I think it's really great that you have shown these places where was shot and you could make a different picture. I was pleased to have discovered the video. Fright Night forever.
Very cool. Still hoping you tour filming locations for the original Carrie and stop by Morningside Elementary in San Fernando which was the front of Bates High School. Filming took place there when I was in elementary school, and we got to sit on the grass and watch instead of being in class.
Just discovered your content and I am hooked! i ESPECIALLY ENJOY how much you are enjoying your journey through the discoveries . So much fun. I have not seen "Fright Night" but I will definitely track it down and view this movie.
Dude those are my favorite too..omg i grew up watching those movies as a kid. Watched Fright night part 2 in the theaters. Fright night 2 was awesome too. Came out in 87 i think.
Fright Night debuted 36 years ago and it is as classic and entertaining in 2021 as it was in 1985. RIP the great Roddy McDowell.
I remembered when it first opened at the movies and drive in wow that was 36 years ago in the classic 1980s I'm a 80s kid I miss the classic 1980s
Yes yes yes Roddy was great!
May his valley be forever green.
Agree...also RIP William Ragsdale🙏
@@henrywallacesghost5883 The actor is not dead.
Fright Night is one of those iconic movies that you never forget and will watch again . Vampire movies from the the 1980 are the best.

Totally agree
@Balthorium was actually the other way around for me. All those fangs in her mouth was hilarious.
AGREED! I usually watch Fright Night 1 &2 on rainy Saturday afternoons 😉
Dude you are killing it man, I have to come back and watch this when I get time, but Fright Night is THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're so cool Brewster!!
Agreed!
My fave vamp movie
Awesome show 👌
Don’t call me evil anymore !…….why should I help you anyways?….
I was 10 when this movie came out, and my parents took me to see it in the theater. I think Chris Sarandon kick-started puberty for me.
Girl, yes! Me too! I was 10 and thought he was smokin!
Lmao!!
I was 11 when it came out. I didn't get to see it until it was out on video though. Boo.
Yes same he was so fine to me! Especially in the chin scene. Then fast forward to my daughter being that age and she fell in love with him too when we watched it 🤣😂😍
Me too. Wait, what?
Fright Night has an awesome soundtrack.
I know right! I was so excited when I found the Fright Night Soundtrack CD on EBay for 25.00,now some our less expensive on EBay now.Sadly the Brad Fedel Score is very expensive. You got good taste in music!
Yep especially the dance scene the two main songs they danced to
I got it it’s awesome
I just looked up that second song last night to listen to it. GREAT GREAT tune! It's called Give it up by Evelyn "Champagne" King
The fact that its now a Scientology center is more scary than the original horror movie
IKR
My thoughts exactly!
😂😂
You can tell them about vampires and they can tell you about Xenu....😊
