@@missrobinhoodie For me (92% extrovert on Big 5), what I notice is that every time I express interest in doing activities people usually associate with introverts (reading, art, etc.), people tell me I must be an ambivert. Or if I confess the perfectly human need literally everyone has, to be alone sometimes, then I must be an ambivert. If I enjoy the time I spend in my own head, I must be an ambivert.
I am definitely an extrovert.
There's just a lot of weird stereotypes out there about extroverts, lol.

I really feel you on that one FJ. I feel I've been out these past few weeks, way more than I've been in almost 2 years 😕.
My social battery 🔋is kaput. I overused it, and now it's all melted and sticky and disgusting 😭
Worst part is, it's not even my fault. I wanna leave, but I'm mandated to stay there. Sometimes, it gets too overwhelming and I basically just turn off and go about things using the "Copy and Paste" method (just copy what others around do, and paste it on yours😐).
I'm exhausted...
I'm talking about college btw 😅
As an introvert myself , and a freshly one out of college mind you, i have to say that at some point i stopped going out almost completely (before pandemic and afterwards ... Well even worse) just so i could study and then stay in to clear my head from classes and studying, by watching series and reading books... (And chores)

After lectures today, I literally hopped onto RUclips to try and pick up the pieces of my destroyed social battery. It's not easy one bit 😢
And I still have to go back again, no excuses 😅
Once I step into school, DEPERSONALIZATION just becomes the M.O😩

... So here are my tips
*My department usually had us a mess of program especially when lab work was involved so try to fit the tips accordingly obviously
1) on Friday go for a quick coffee/exchange of notes and later on the same evening go to market and get your food ingriedients
2) on Saturday morning meal prep
3) on Saturday evening go out or you know stay in and do your thing
4) sunday morning clean the house and do all the chores
5) sunday evening study in you must otherwise leave it for the weekdays
6)go to all your lectures -it helps a lot- and study afterwards
7) maybe try to hit the gym or like me go for a walk/jog/run or maybe some yoga or something similarly light would be great
8) SLEEP EARLY like 22:00 so you can wake up early (for runs/gym/chores?)
9)puck your food cafe foods no matter how great they seem they will definitely lock you in the bathroom (if you know what i mean) at least once ..so try to avoid them if you can
10) once in a weekday don't study but stay in to relax (so you can go out on friday!)
I did not did all of the above and i suffered a lot. And when i got to actually start doing them quarantine hit (also i had no friends that still talked to me after some drama about relationships and grades)

I focused on my studies ... (Aka my 3 crushes go into other relationships two of them i helped to create yay! ) So good luck with that....

The worst part being that because the first day was good, you keep going, anchoring on to that first experience coz you're hoping other days will just follow its lead. But then the second day rolls around, and it's sub par, but you're still hopeful. The third day, you try with a more upbeat attitude, but it still slips below that of the second day... And it just keeps going downhill from there until you've lost all motivation and become insanely burned out 😕.
And worse still, your environment doesn't acknowledge that, so you'll still have to manage to go on to complete the tasks that come with each day, even though all you want to do is retreat into some much needed isolation 😫
I pray we'll be okay. Even if I dob't have much going for me, at least I've not entirely given up, so there's that 😌
Try not to give up either. 😊
Currently, I'm simultaneously trying to regain energy and motivation, and also, identify the problem in order to find lasting and sustainable solutions 😊
Imagine how the only extrovert feels when he's only around introverts. It's to the point where he'll become an introvert.

As an ENFP silence is so awkward I went to a college enrolment thing today. One of the rooms was total silence. I started trying to make conversion and me and this girl actually did start talking but I could feel the admin women wanting us to be quiet

I don't think ambivert exist. If you can social but still need alone time then you are either extrovert who is less social than average extrovert or introvert who is more social than average introvert.
@@starstorm2508 I’m definitely an ambivert. I can be super extroverted on some days and completely introverted in others. When I’m more on the extroverted side, I need social interaction for energy, it’s like whatever energy is there is fueling me and I enjoy it. On those days it’s like I need to be around people or everything feels dull and boring and I’ll be tired for no reason. When I’m more on the introverted side of things, I need alone time to recharge and people drain me. I do tend to lean more on the introverted side but I definitely am both.
I am a librarian and I can confirm, this is accurate about that section 😍🥰

Normally the ''weird'' one are us the introverts, here ''finally'' the odd one is the extrovert ha,ha! That being said, I still think that introverts are heavily misunderstood in our modern society and that can get frustrating at times!
Extroverts are heavily misunderstood as well, especially by some introverts. We often share a lot of the same social anxieties as introverts, we just handle them differently. Often we're stereotyped as vapid and annoying and that can really suck sometimes. Everyone is a complex amalgamation, just give us a chance! Haha💟

I always feel so bad when I meet someone and make the atmosphere really awkward so that we don’t really talk and it’s just awkward silence, then I see them talking normally and laughing with other people they just met. Like I know your energy when talking to other people can affect theirs but I don’t understand how I can have more of a positive energy or something so people feel more comfortable around me 🥲

I'm an introvert who has no problem socializing with one person at the time. I realized how introverted I am when I started my new job and realized I was surrounded by extroverts. They are loud, they talk all the time about whatever just to fill up the air with noise. I never considered myself the quiet one, but this time I am! I barely say a peep now, maybe I surrounded myself with introverts and never realized what the real world was about ROFL.

I was kind of 'homeless socially' back then who had mental health issues so I joined, assuming they'll understand me. I was shocked after knowing how their 'cult' worked.
