Love the honesty! Something we can all relate to! I’ve also found when I add too much trail wrist extension that I start filling my knees to reach the ball and chunk or blade shots because my low point radius has been altered so much
You nailed this, brother. Just like you said…. When people start to struggle, they start putting the ball further back in their stance, and leaning the shaft more forward. That’s the exact opposite of what you need to do. I’ve been there, and done that. lol After discovering this fix, you’ll find that the ball flies higher, and lands shorter, and softer. You will have to adjust your feel for this. But, the strike will seem effortless. Great video!
I've always been pretty good using the old hinge and hold method but the Hanger is taking it to next level. I holed out 2x in a round a few weeks back. Even if you are already a decent chip/pitcher you will get even more accurate. If it is a problem area, this thing will literally shave several strokes in a couple months.
Not knowing this secret about good wrist motion (up & Down) and bad wrist motion (back & forth) has been the downfall of my chipping errors throughout my entire golfing life. Thank you for this invaluable tip. A life saver! Awesome Eric!
I’ve had the yips for over two years. I have this hanger device that I never use. So I tried it. Instant fix. It’s going to feel completely opposite of your current feel. 56 degree with this hanger on, off a mat first day. Started feeling good after about 20-25 shots. Tried on grass and got same results. I’m a survivor of the yips.
Wow Eric, I’ve watched your videos for a long time and you’ve helped me with a bunch but this may be the most important one I’ve seen. 62 yrs old and been a plus to low single digit handicap since I was a teenager. Have a bad back and pretty much walked away from the game. Back got manageable and a few years ago I played a few times and unexpectedly played well except short game. Then started struggling with early extension and flipping the club and it bled into my chipping. It’s exactly what you just showed. Chipping was always a strength but now it’s often embarrassing. Moved ball back just to chunk it or flip and blade it. Would practice what you’re doing and get better only to go brain dead while playing. I do struggle a bunch when faced with uneven lies especially uphill. I’m a five handicap that could easily be close to scratch if my short game was just mediocre. Any further tips….?

Thanks so much, David!
I went thru the same issue this fall. Fixed my chipping by making sure I turn my right shoulder thru.
Great to hear that, Steve! :)

Love to hear it Brandon!
Great lesson. My swing thought on chip shots is very similar, "keep the V and rotate through" ⛳️
Love it! Thanks for watching!!
Great video and content, while my chipping and putting has improved , I’m not satisfied and this video made me realize the importance of the shaft
Thank you, Robert!
i tried this in my basement and it is working. Can't wait for the spring to try this on grass. I also feel like i am -10/100 with my chipping
Hope this one helps, Mike! Let us know how your practice goes once you get a chance to get outside!
