TY so much for posting this, it was very helpful‼️I just helped a young woman with a Audi jack up & changed her tire for her. I wasn’t sure where to place the jack on the body frame. I did see the slot on body panel/sill but I was worried that it might tear off the back of the front fender and I’d end up doing more harm then help. Thx to your vid I was able to help Iris😊
Thanks for this - I was trying to do this next to the road at night (rural) and was having a hell of a time. The magic step was the alignment bolt. I didn't see it in the kit (it's black) and was messing around trying to get the wheel back on without it. This should be a lot easier next time, assuming I haven't forgot about it again by then!
I would not recommend wearing a tailored suit when replacing your tire though!
What if your driving to work in suit?
