One thing not mentioned is in the winter, to keep cabin warm when doing errands, after you shut the car off, you hit the driver side temperature knob like you do to put in auto mode and it will turn on and run the heater off the engine heat for about 15 minutes. Nice to come back to a warm cabin.
Didn't knew about the air circulation when on reverse! Nice! Other trick: - put and leave the mirror knob to the right when reversing to auto dip right mirror
I love how you consistently say, "The next thing you might not have known about the Audi A4 B9 Generation is...". I don't know, it's just a very good video and I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. It's a beautiful car.
Great video. However, I have something to add. Very rare that anyone talks about this one but the glove box can actually be cooled and has a dial to control the temperature. Pretty cool
Only if you have the warm weather package, I wanted that for the cooled seats but it was too difficult to find both the cold and warm weather packages in one car, so I just went with the cold weather package (heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.)
All they changed was the hybrid stuff and slight cosmetics to the trim/mmi software.. that’s typically all the facelifts do.. which is why they’re called facelifts
my audi b9 s4 demands to first put it in dynamic mode. After that press and hold the traction control until you get a second warning message in your gage cluster. than press brake to hold while flooring the gas pedal. once boosted max, have fun!!!
another tip you do not need to put the car in park every time you park. just turn off the ignition and the car automatically puts the car in park for you
@@LynxIsCreative wow ive never had that happen, i dont usually need the parking brake on though. i always feel the car going into park when i turn it off though.
Does the 2020 model have lane assist ? What about auto braking ? Total closure for windows using remote ? What about smart cruise control? Smart headlights? I have just bought the audi a4 avante quattro black edition 2.0 tdi
If equipped it has land assist Audi presence city which is auto braking below like 50mph is standard not sure about cruise and smart headlights is another option
I tought that car get mild hybrid system with facelift in 2019. (And maybe maybe few cars in 2019 before facelift) So was mild hybrid part of the facelift or was it really from 2021? And the same thing with Quattro ultra.
Early facelift models did not have the mild hybrid system. It came about a year later. Mine’s a good example too… it’s 2020 A4 Avant 40TDI quattro with no mild hybrid system. Maybe it also depends on the engine type and market.
Just purchased a B9, found out it had presense when it slammed the brakes on icy highway. There has to be option to adjust it or disable it, it's gonna fucking kill someone.
pre sense. Speaking of the B9 and from a EU owner perspective: all that have the camera behind the rear mirror do have it! safed my wifes ass once already.
The side assist actually measures speed of cars coming up on your sides from the rear and will light up if your current speed is not fast enough to safely cut them off.. I mean merge and blink rapidly if there’s not enough time to get up to speed. It also doesn’t close all the windows… it cracks them slightly so that they don’t get stuck in closed mode locking you in cases where the door may be stuck as a result… and you have to long press the stability button to turn ESC completely off; not sport mode, to activate launch control…. As well as turn off auto start/stop but that happens in sport automatically.. And not all models have it
Nope the gearbox actually has a launch control and that wont wear it out like ur regular 2 paddle idiotic shit would. The launch control is described and the usage guided in the manual as well but what wouls you know

The suspension on my 2023 A4 45 Prestige seems fine to me even with 19” wheels and low-profile tires. It is firm, but the BMW 3 series is just as firm if not firmer unless you get the base model. Mercedes and Lexus are better choices if you want a softer ride.
As soon as you said your A4 has launch control, I turned the video off because it doesn’t. All Audi levels A, S and RS get the same manual because Audi wanted to cut costs. Launch control is only available in RS models from factory. Do more research before you post BS information. All you’re doing in your little A4 is brake boosting which is killing your engine because it’s not made to launch since it’s a slow ass family car
Actually it does have launch control. It is even described in the owners manual. What the video failed to describe is that a long (3 second) press on the button turns the traction control completely off and the dash displays additional warnings. I have tested this myself, it works!

Is this only on the b9.5 refresh cars with the 12-volt hybrid running that feature?
no the 9 has it as well
