Depends on the music but generally dramatic beats aren't the best, I personally listen to a lot of this stuff while biking, music while you speak, not while anything involving the case maybe? It gives it that clickbaity, RUclips view hunting vibe which can probably push people away. The humming was a bit offputting while the case info was being told I really can't put my finger on why sorry. I hope this helps a bit, you do have good taste in background music for what it's worth

Yeah!!! They are far from perfect and make mistakes, PROBLEM is when they cover up for each other by lying about certain events/circumstances, to do with the fabricated case, then it gets hard/impossible to show that you are innocent, as it's documented by half a dozen corrupt popo sticking to their story. It's neigh on impossible to plead your case in front of a jju dggee!. Where I am in the flaming world it's gone legally insane.... It's as if they really do have an age n da, to 'lock up' indidgenouse peoples, for the smallest thing, which doesn't have make sense. Some say 'it's soft or quiet ar rest?, turning into a massive & expensive cort case where you can hardly even manage elab. THERE WILL BE NO TURNING BACK, FROM THIS ONE! too many la wss have been added to the popo startin frum that 'shotthot lokdwn'... Both murderers and the woman that found the murderers for the Adelsons are all in prison for the rest of their lives. Wendy, you're next. @@emceesupremejusticeif you get some kind of empathy burnout from your job, and can no longer show people compassion in their worst moments, you should take a break.
The job of a dispatcher is to connect someone to emergency services, and also to keep people calm so that they can get as much information as possible to facilitate the transfer of information.
I have heard COUNTLESS dispatchers being disrespectful, impatient, rude, and interrupting the caller, shutting them down.
Of course people can respond to the repeated exposure to trauma in a variety of ways...but acknowledging and recognizing that you're no longer able to be helpful to people calling for help in their most desperate moments, and giving that responsibility to someone else while you take care of yourself, is important.
You need to be able to recognize when your capacity to do the job you were hired to do is lowered. It's like saying a firefighter is justified in not going into a house to save someone because they've been burned or hurt on the job, but still being employed and paid to go out to the scene and just watch the situation happen.
If you can't fulfill your duties, you need to step away. For the sake of the mental health of the dispatcher, and anyone calling in needing their services.

There will never be a shortage of idiots who believe a woman when she says that her ex husband is abusive or touches the kids or whatever. 100%. Lori Daybell, while divorcing her 3rd husband, Joe Ryan, suddenly said he molested their kids. He was eventually exonerated via jury trial, but she broke him mentally, physically and financially. She and her brother shot her 4th husband...and you know the rest if you have followed the case. Parents needed to step back, and let her deal with the fallout, since she was the one who chose her husband, then chose to have babies with him. Cleaning up our adult children's messes, have gotten other parents in trouble.

My baby sister is 5yrs younger. She met her husband of 15yrs when they were three... They've been together ever since. Married at an appropriate age and began a family.
When I found out he'd struck her, I lost it. Fortunately, they're rich -- because of her -- and the divorce continues.
Point being, I made a mistake in offering recommendations.
I stay out of it, but that doesn't mean a damned thing. If he ever touches those babes, you can print this comment off and read it to the jury, your Honor.

Sucks that happened to you. I am a retired cop. I was lead unit on a domestic violence call where GF said BF beat her up. I had another unit and my Sgt on scene with me. Dude was saying she did it to herself and that he is the victim. The other guys with me wanted to hook the guy right off the bat, but something didn't sit right with me. I was the one to make the call since it was my call. I started asking her more questions and her story kept changing. Then she tried to show me her marks and how he grabbed her. When she grabbed her arms I saw the marks matched up with her own hands. After more questions, she finally admitted the whole deal. I arrested her for DV as well as false report. That dude was so grateful. I saw him a couple times later at the store. He always bought me a soda and stuff for saving his life in the fact that he didn't go to jail. After that night, the guys with me never just took the woman's story as fact. Some ladies are scandalous.
Edit: I am a dude who just didn't buy into her BS right away and hook the guy up like most would. Forgot to add that.
