Hey man . Great videos . I'm covered in ink but have started watching you to learn ... My question is are the blowouts caused by your needle too deep or going too slow ? I'm guessing the too deep is a given but can it be caused by moving too slowly as well ???? Also if you notice blowouts do you adjust your needle hang or just use less pressure . The last video of yours I watched said to not ride the tube which seems safer after you get the correct depth ... Thanks again man . Awesome videos !!!!!

Thanks for the video! I was expecting you to do like 1 line but you just kept going. LOL. What stroke was the machine you use and do you think that correlates to how easy it is to get a blow out? Also, thighs tend to have a bit more meat on them then say a hand, do you think that also makes a difference for how easy it is to blow out a line? Also, did you post what it looks like healed? Im curious.

My brother showed me how to do some tattoos and I’m surprised at how much control you must have and you’re not going to far in. I always thought tattoos, hurt growing up.
Man bro that's some dedication I don't remember ever blowing out lines except on a stomach rib piece but to be honest I had fluctuations a brushless motor machine and a wireless battery so warning if you use a brushless machine like the packer wanddont use a cheap battery it will fluctuate and cause you to accidently blow out some ones stomach rocker
hey, i’ve got a question! im a self taught tattoo artist and i always wondered what makes the ink create those little lightning-shaped leaks under the skin? i’m pretty sure i’m not blowing it out, when i reduce the depth it seems to be over the dermis :( thank you for your videos, you’re the best!
This is a good one! If we are thinking about the same lightning shaped line leaks they aren't necessarily from the blow out or going too deep. They occur when the ink flows through the superficial layers of the skin. If I am correct they are technically on the top layer of the skin and often wipe away as seen in this video. Thank you for your time, support and kind feedback! I appreciate you.
You’re welcome! Thank you for your time and support. I appreciate you. Should you or anyone have any questions at all drop a comment and I will do my best to assist in a better direction.

This is what I am afraid of doing. My problem when I did my first tattoo in the class that I took was I didnt get in far enough because I was afraid of giving blowouts. Thank you for sharing and using yourself as a demonstration. You rock! 💜 #DanielYuck
Any tips on how to tattoo thin skin like feet? I’ve been practicing on the inner sides of my feet but I keep running into problems like blowouts and some ink not holding. I’ve only just started out and your videos help out a lot, so a big thank you for your great work!
Thank you for your time and support! I appreciate you. It really all depends on the persons skin in that area, which I think would vary from person to person. Instead of focusing on the foot aspect and thinner skin, I would focus on finding the correct depth in that area. Once I’m familiar with the depth of that area I would begin to work a tattoo. I think it’s more about understanding where the ink lives on thinner and thicker skin. Once we find those depths where the ink goes it’s a lot easier to hit the marks. I made another video talking about how to find the dermis and needle depth that I will link for you below. I got a Tattoo of a heartagram at Jade Dragon Tattoo in Branson Missouri and the male Tattooist did it very deep and the entire tattoo is very blead-out blurry and ebeed up cracking in several spots. I put aquaphor on it and still got cracks and a blurry tattoo. The shop claimed it was improper care of the skin. No fault of their own. At the time i had no clue and just went along with it. But now I've started tatting up several sleeves i now know it was incorrect depth and far to many passes and packing of the black ink.
I am using Intenze Formula 23 for this demonstration. You can get it from Intenze directly or off on amazon. Ive done an in depth review on Intenze Formula 23 Ink, I will link it below for you. Intenze Formula 23 Tattoo Ink Review ruclips.net/video/G8qwFS5p6SQ/видео.html
I did not want to nor could I imagine asking someone else to let me blow them out. That to me sounds all types of wrong, so I used my own thigh. haha It made perfect sense at that time as much as it does right now typing it. Thank you for watching, I appreciate your support.
You're welcome DREWSKI! I appreciate you, your time and support! Needle depth can be 1 of many causes of a blowout. Needle depth, bad angles, lack of experience, too much pressure, moving too slow, voltage too high, going over lines too many times, are some reasons that come to my mind. Should you have any further questions feel free to drop it in the comment section below.
Wow sacrificing your skin for educational purposes, and on the part of the body where it hurts other than some areas,RESPECT,and for the depth your 1007rl penetrates i know it hurts like hell, thank you so much Sensei,as you've said it can happen to the best of artist, the solution is simple though, focus,as most of the hardcore fans knows where the dermis is from your older videos, focus on where that sweet spot is and let your muscle memory do the rest, some might not agree but always tattoo yourself first before you tattoo other people cause blowouts on small dainty tattoos is unfixable xcpt for laser rem or coverups,
Thank you for your kind feedback Psykotik Neher! I appreciate you. This absolutely hurt 110%! It was actually far worse than I imagined. Yea blowouts can be a tricky aspect of tattooing especially if we go into tattoos afraid of blow outs. If all we focus on is NOT blowing out we just may end up blowing someone out. As opposed to establish a familiarity with where the ink should go so we don't have to guess, wing a tattoo, or be terrified of blowouts. D
You are welcome! I appreciate you and your support! I remember when I would always blow out the fake skin I was using. Some of the first tattoos that I did I cut straight through the fake skin. I am also glad I got through that phase.
Depth is the one thing I seem to be struggling with on myself so hard. I'm either blowing out or not going deep enough on myself. When I ink someone/something else I hit perfect depth every time. I think I've just got a stupidly thin dermis and need to really dial in my hand pressure.

You are appreciated. I def do not feel better nor do I think that I am better over you or the next man. My goal is to help others that are wanting to get tattoos, have tattoos, and or wanting to get into tattooing understand what a blowout is, beyond that there is nothing else.
I do feel I set out to do just that with this video especially and I also have a lot more videos on human skin coming as well. We are steadily making our way in that direction but again I thank you for your kind feedback and continued support Poppy!
Thank you so much for this man. It's super helpful to see the mistakes in real time.
You're welcome! I appreciate your feedback and support F bach! I am glad I am able to help you out. Let me know if you have any questions along your way.

Man, I hope I've day that I could be able to afford to drop this much coin on a single tattoo machine.
Dude….that looked so painful. Thank you so much for sacrificing the drumstick to prevent future artists from blowing out unsuspecting clients.
Ngl I wanna get a tattoo of a bunch of lines and dots like this, it actually looks cool

What a Chad! Even if the blow out is not that noticeable in the first lines ( but it is, you can see the ink spreading) the needle deep is so painfull to see 😣 im practicing on fake skin and i think, after this video, im doing pretty good. Thank you!
Thank you Abraham!

Im curious.
lots of props to you. so its more how deep the needle penetrates the skin. I cant wait for my machine to come in so i can practice
You do it real good job you’re making a lot of good tattooers out here

omg i love how at 6 mins your just "like there we go! Now that's a clean blowout!"
Great work man, nice instruction, I love these type of video
This video and the follow up makes me cry. My latest tattoo is only a month old and it hurt like nothing in this world and it's showing signs of scarring. Now I'm so worried that it's going to look awful in a year. Which breaks my heart because it's a meaningful design and the artist is a dear friend of mine 💔😭
A few times while watching your video I wanted to say: YES we can see the blowouts well, please don't go any deeper 😅 thanks for your painful demonstration of what blowouts look like and how to avoid them 😊😊😊
I just wanna give you a hug
This is so painful to watch
But so necessary
Thank you so much for your support and feedback!

Love all your videos! They have been so helpful! Remember my name for the entry!
broooo i cannot believe you did this lmao. super helpful though
My brother showed me how to do some tattoos and I’m surprised at how much control you must have and you’re not going to far in. I always thought tattoos, hurt growing up.
Woah that's crazy, hope it heals well lol a n awesome cover up maybe another cool vid.
Just started self tattooing these videos really useful thankyou
Man bro that's some dedication I don't remember ever blowing out lines except on a stomach rib piece but to be honest I had fluctuations a brushless motor machine and a wireless battery so warning if you use a brushless machine like the packer wanddont use a cheap battery it will fluctuate and cause you to accidently blow out some ones stomach rocker
you deserve more subscribers bro, thanks for all the useful information you explain to us
hey, i’ve got a question! im a self taught tattoo artist and i always wondered what makes the ink create those little lightning-shaped leaks under the skin? i’m pretty sure i’m not blowing it out, when i reduce the depth it seems to be over the dermis :( thank you for your videos, you’re the best!
If you go over it to many times it tends to happen someone said ^^^^
This is a good one!
Thank you so much for this video and the devotion to teach people!
You’re welcome! Thank you for your time and support. I appreciate you. Should you or anyone have any questions at all drop a comment and I will do my best to assist in a better direction.

Man, you are great. Can imagine the pain.
Thank you for the kind feedback! I appreciate it. The pain was 30 out of 10 haha it was really bad. Haha
I’m learning how to tattoo and I do tattoo removal for a living 😜 Watching your videos is helping me understand a little bit better on what I’m seeing when clients come in for tattoo removal. Also, as I’m watching this all I can think about is let me laser off those lines 🤣
thanks for the knowledge and gratulation for your new tattoo 😁

This is what I am afraid of doing. My problem when I did my first tattoo in the class that I took was I didnt get in far enough because I was afraid of giving blowouts.
Thank you for sharing and using yourself as a demonstration. You rock! 💜
#DanielYuck
Is there a way to fix blow outs or improve their appearance after the tattoo heals?
Amazing job of teaching
Ahh Thank you for the kind feedback. I appreciate you, your time and support.

@@DanielYuck Thank you so much for the great advice! I’ll be sure to try that out and check out all those videos again when I do some practice later today. You’re very much appreciated for all the work you do, thanks again!😁🤙🏼
Bro thank you for the nice video ,it 's very helpful!!!!
What type of ink you used for this video and where you ordered it from ??
I am using Intenze Formula 23 for this demonstration. You can get it from Intenze directly or off on amazon.
Ive done an in depth review on Intenze Formula 23 Ink, I will link it below for you.

It’s so crazy you used your own skin 🤯🤯
I did not want to nor could I imagine asking someone else to let me blow them out.
That to me sounds all types of wrong, so I used my own thigh. haha
It made perfect sense at that time as much as it does right now typing it.
Thank you for watching, I appreciate your support.
Ouch. I could feel that 😅 I've been test skin for a few apprentices and I can definitely relate.
Thank You for sharing your knowledge & experience..
You're welcome Watcher!
Thank you as well for your time, feedback and support.
I appreciate it.
So basically your needle depth is what leads to blowouts? Also thanks for dedicating your skin to help fellow tattooers
@@DanielYuck I appreciate you getting back to me💯
Do blow outs typically come with blood too ?
Can stretching the skin the wrong way cause this too? Like say youre pulling a vertical line but you stretch it horizontally?? Food for thought
I needed this video thank you for your sacrifice sir
You're welcome! I am glad I am able to help you in a better direction. Thank you for the support.
Thank you for sharing:) when I first started tattooing myself I had a lot of these . I finally learned how to avoid it thank God
You are welcome! I appreciate you and your support!
I remember when I would always blow out the fake skin I was using. Some of the first tattoos that I did I cut straight through the fake skin.
I am also glad I got through that phase.
@@DanielYuck lol I actually tattooed all the way through and into my table the first time now my table has a diamond carved into it :')
Depth is the one thing I seem to be struggling with on myself so hard. I'm either blowing out or not going deep enough on myself. When I ink someone/something else I hit perfect depth every time. I think I've just got a stupidly thin dermis and need to really dial in my hand pressure.
Very nice information!
Thanks a lot for every video. Especially this one! Greetings from Balkan! 💯
