The case is really neat, they could come up with an awesome bracelet to complement those lugs. The integrated bracelet that Alpina just put on their Alpiner Extreme is unbelievable, hopefully they’ll do something like that for the Seastrong line!
Looks good. And the thing with Alpina, wait about 6 - 8 months and easily find on the discount sites, which makes Alpina a solid buy. It's not bad, like case design and agree, strap looks killer!

I love Alpina, love the Seastrong, but the whole recycled materials thing is gimmicky. But props for showcasing a ridiculously under-appreciated brand.

Yes! I have the Seastrong that I just picked up the other day at a dealer here. Very impressive considering the Frederick Constant/Citizen group relationship of owning. Keeps great time and is a show stopper on the wrist, imo.

The top down shot reminds me of my Seiko Samurai. The dimensions are similar as well. This is a nice looking watch, but as others have mentioned, it seems a little pricey.

Hey Chris Happy Easter ✝️☮️ I love Alpina watches the Citizen group just keep coming up with new, great watches. The watch band does look awesome and comfortable. The use of better recycled material is really progressing the cause of renewal. The lume is certainly bright on the hands. I have a Bulova Sea King and it rocks. Keep showing us these great new designs from the Citizen family. Great review as always. 👋
Nice, and I agree that strap looks very good (speaking of which, so did the strap on that other Alpina...maybe stole the show!), but think the lume should have a stronger showing on a watch with 300m WR and a name like Seastrong. Also bezel could have used a pip of lume IMO (but liked its look quite a bit).

i like the diver one better, i just dont know if it s a good as the james bonds 2531.80, but for sure that alpina s diver s got very good looks.
I think white indices would match this watch better,especially that bezel polished markings🤔

@@garyboyle695 perhaps. But I picked up the Seastrong Heritage diver a few years ago for about $600. Maybe Citizen is cracking down now.
That is a great looking watch, but expensive at $1,895. My wife would kill me.

Its a nice watch though i prefer the one with the rubber , but tbh i was surprised at the cost so my opinion is under lumed & overpriced , a lot done well but equally some not so .
god i would do just about anything to get one of those. well, maybe not anything, lol.
I don't get the extra water resistance without suitable lume for under water use. No lume on the bezel even? ... It hould have a Sellita sw300 at that price. The bezel is pretty thick, if it was thinner the cushion like case could have more impact. The look isn't quite there for me. The extra water resistance makes it chunkier than need me and the lack of lume makes it bad for under water use. So... Why bother? I like the design language of the other of their watches you showed us better. This one is halfway there looks wise to me. Not worth the price tag.

Great watch. But recycled stainless steel case? A lot of stainless steel is recycled.... Don"t advertise with things that aren't so unique....
Divers should stay away from Alpina Seastrong. It has no lume on the second hand. A diver deep in dark waters wouldn´t know whether his watch is working or not if he can´t verify the second hand moving. Clearly a deal breaker this watch for sincere amateurs and professionals. Also a pity for this rather appealing watch.
Totally disappointing as a design; chunky, boring, too big. 😖
