Love the WRVs! Thanks for turning me on to Alpina and Glycine especially- watches with soul are, as you say, connective gear. So cool to relive adventures by strapping one on.
Got my quartz Alpina Seastrong about a month ago after about a ten year search for a watch that matched my specs. Accidentally discovered the brand about two months ago. My specs were 44 mm with 22 mm band, quartz, min 300 m WD, lug to lug 52 mm or less, etc. Only complaints is second hand doesn’t land on the indices and the crown isn’t the grippiest. Looks great with a suit or casual. Checks all the boxes. Surprisingly the case is polished not matte. Was a pleasant surprise as a desk diver. Dressed it up with a Zuludiver premium NATO with polished hardware in gray. Just a perfect match. Very pleased and grabbed it for $530 CAD on Amazon.
Please keep the watch reviews coming. I love the high value perspective. I have bought several of the watches and other things you review since we have similar taste.
I am a long time viewer of the Nutn’ Fancy Project and faithfully watch. The WRV’s are great Nut’n. I have had a Wenger Swiss military Chrono for about 20 years and all I have ever had to do is change the battery. Great brand and the original Swiss Military watch maker btw. I also have a few Luminox watches and really like them as well. Really like the look of the Alpina. The Swiss Chrono I jave is still going strong. Keep up the great work!!!
Oh wow! I have both of these. Love the Seastrong! Bought it two years ago as a gift to myself for a work promotion. However, the bezel ratchet is free spins. I need to send it in.
The Wenger, and the Alpina were both sweet! I hope you keep the WRVs coming. I'm paranoid about batteries as well. Most of my watches are autos, or solar. That Alpina is so cool I might consider a quartz! Thanks Nutn.
i got an eco drive, absolutely love it, i wear my smael everyday though. work will destroy the nice things rather quickly unfortunately. with that said its kinda hard to take the smael off tbh.
I just bought a victorinox inox titanium case sapphire crystal 200m quartz movement for $299 on Amazon!!! Today soo I would say if you want a tank of a watch go there now
Would taping only the hollow part of the hands work, or at least not taping the tips of the lume? You could get the look you want but keep at least some of the function.
Actual SCUBA diver here. I dive with a $15 Casio from Walmart.
We love the watch reviews, because a watch is an essential piece of your EDC kit.
*Keep the watch reviews coming!*
*Lots of knife dudes are also watch dudes it seems.*

$275 is not bad for Swiss made watch. That is a really good deal

So, did this video drop here on RUclips but not Patreon?
Watch watcher checking in lol
If I found myself 300 meters underwater, knowing the time and date wouldn’t be a high priority. Getting to the surface would be.
Love that Wenger.
Love the watch reviews

Always wondered if the Wengers were worth it , Thanks!
That's a nice looking watch. I'm way behind, haven't bought the Wenger yet.
can you do a video on all the gshocks you own please, i got the gd350 yesterday.
Nice watch. I’d love to own a watch like this but it’s out of my price range. I haven’t heard of Alpina before. The plain one is very cool.

Send it to me. Need another one to add to my 40 something watch collection!
Just recently got the watch bug. 5 in the collection. I'm the opposite though. I swap knives out more frequently.
Swiss watches are known to be excellent, Japan produces some really nice watches as well.
