Whats with the blue cords running up to the phones at the end of your video? I just want to confirm the arm dobles as a wireless charger, and that I would not have to run a USB up to the phone. If this is just so you can connect the phone to the 14" display for andriod auto/Apples Car Play, why not just use the wireless (bluetooth) connection for that? My concern is that your answer will be the charger doens't charge fast enough to be connected wirelessly to the large screen. Thank you for the help and the video.
hey, the blue cord was just for testing power. you do have to run a power cable to the charge pad for power. at minute 2:46 I show the wires I ran to the two wireless charge pads. It does charge well enough to keep up with Android Auto wirelessly to the infotainment system while driving.
Hey!! I used a 7mm arm. Also, I ordered another one for the passenger side. I run the same dual setup in my 2014 tundra. Should be pretty sweet in the 2024.
Extremely easy to build and super sturdy, doesn’t rattle.
Yep i run it in both trucks and am very happy

Thanks for the video! What length arm did you go with to clear the dash?

So the wireless charger just hooks up to a normal USB C cord?
Yep its on a dual adapter plug
@@OverlandTrailsAdventures cool. Thanks for the info. I think I'll get this and dual wireless chargers with motorized cradles. Thanks for the info.
You left out the tricky step…how to disconnect the cigarette socket!
Lol yea good point
Ridiculous for a phone mount
It can just depend on what you're doing.
