Greetings! I have a question: was your sensor 100% clean without any scratch or anything like that? Because we got the 12K and the sensor was just dirty. There was dirt and some kind of dried out liquid. We sent it back and yesterday we got our new one - but still, on the right corner of the glass in front of the nd Filters - there are 3 Little dots which I can’t get off the glass, at least not with a dust blower or a vacuum. Is this normal with Blackmagic? I don’t want to send the camera back a second time, but I’m so worried… I mean, we bought her almost a year ago, it took Blackmagic months to take a look at it and finally send us a new one. Now I just DONT want to send it back a second time. But I’m not sure if this is normal and im just to picky about sth like a few dots on the glass. But cmon, it’s not a cheap camera, and btw - we bought it when it was still 10k… greetings to everyone out there!

Hell. I edited 12k on a 4K timeline with my MacBook 16 inch with the intel processor. It’s nuts. But honestly, I’m going to keep saving. I’m going to shoot for the RED or Arri market since those cameras are used mostly in the industry and you buy it once and can upgrade in 10 years vs every 2 or 3. But thank you BM for the continued innovation.
Actually, Komodo, Raptor, tech since 2020 is evolving so fast that it’s not relevant now to keep 10y a RED, even RED kills their own models in years

Thats true for Arri but not Red sadly, the prices of the used dsmc2 cameras has dropped off a cliff

I almost bought this until the salesman in B&H said in his Yiddish accent: "And what are you going to use it for? Scientific applications? You don't need 12k." He was right. Got myself a 4k camera and way more equipment to go with it for the same cost. Ultimately, it's a tool. What are you using for?
very true! I bought a Canon C70 and realized it was way overkill for my wants and needs. I also do way more phorography than video. So now I have a Canon R5 that I love and use a lot.

@@chrisw5742 lol. True. Depending on the style, we can make any footage look cool. Realistically, I think 4K was the turning point for a long time to come.

G2 or 12k better filmlook?
You can get filmic look with both, its just a matter of post-processing.
the form factor is horrible. I love BM but I went with the 6k pro instead. The URSA is a bulk
Yes yes yes, a box style URSA, smaller than the G2 and slightly larger/more ergonomic than the 6K Pocket Pro
The URSA G2 at its current price point and specs really doesn’t make any sense, they have to be updating it soon.
Why would anyone buy that camera over the 12K…

My project it not this my project is to made it becomes 3D holographic project that why I love 12K for everything work on it I don't want to get small 3D holographic image better 12K and it will not get satisfying because in future they have software realise it made it becomes my dream of it only that why I knows because I have seen it in future tech definitely it will happen infinity the same what I have means visual communications will change infinity but will use these things in fix but me I want nothing get problems with this things yes it for my mother I mean everything for her I mean only right I knows it but only for not get any problems for it too.
