- In This Video I show you how to install a URO_gaming SimShifter 18 Speed Eaton Fuller shifter setup on PC and run it through the gears.

I have mine all set up but I have two cables now from shifter, one cable usb I’m assuming will go to the G-29 wheel and the other usb to the computer?? I’m going to be using ATS and iRacing.
So the SimShifter should plug DIRECTLY into your PC with USB. Your Logitech shifter should plug directly into your steering wheel. Then your steering wheel plugs into the PC with USB.
So i was using this vid as an example vid for the eatong shifter i just bought and after using it I can seem to assign the shifter toggle 1 on my Shifter to work idk y it did this after using it could anyone know why it isn’t connecting
Can you map any other button to it?
Is it one of my SimShifters?
What about in ets how do you get an 18speed?
Love your shifter,use it all the time on Ats. Ets doesn’t have a 18speed just

Volvo 12 & 12+2 speed
Zf 12 speed
Zf 16 speed
The closest to an Eaton Fuller 18 speed would be the ZF-16. Most of the other ones have a very different layout. It does work... But not the same
ATS stoped recognising the shifter, no more generic USB in the drop down list. How can I fix it?

I am pretty sure it's a steam controller configuration that needs to be disabled for ATS.

Thanks for the video, finaly I can use 13 and 18 gear shits in confort. I don't have a shifter mod but g27 shifter got some buttons on it, without cheking the switch mode option buttons works fine aswell.

if i already have that shifter how can i get the little adaptor to make the extender longer i didnt see just that on your website?

Are we unable to setup the true 18 speed shifting pattern? Cause no one is setting this up with reverse in first, and I haven't figured out how to on my setup yet either
Huh? The video shows all 18 gears plus reverse being in the correct locations
The game itself takes over reconfiguring the EATON FULLER gear locations and which gears go where once you have mapped your actual shifter with the actual gear locations (1-6 & R)

@@GamingWithURO dude, I drive an 18 speed peterbilt 379 hauling lumber, position 1 in a real truck is Reverse lol, his is all the way over where 18 should be, it's not in the right gate
@@fazoolie321 after it's mapped and set to eaton fuller 18 speed in the game, the game will reconfigure it correctly to the truck pattern.
Reverse IS top left AFTER its configured. The initial configuration has to do with the game shifter.

BUT AFTER IT'S CONFIGURED and set to EATON FULLER 18 speed it becomes:
R1l/h. 1l/h. - 3l/h.
Ll/h. 2l/h. - 4l/h.
&

6l/h. - 8l/h
Like it should be.
After it's all configured its correct.

I feel dumb now, but as a basic mechanic and experienced driver, this step you explained is crazy, I wish scs would have made it easier to implement! Thanks for clearing this up for me!
@@fazoolie321 trust me I get it. When I 1st started messing with this stuff years ago, I was trying to map it all out "correctly" from the get go and everything was all wonky 🤣🤣👍

That actually wrong for eaton fuller 18 transmission. You don’t map revers gear, skip it.

While it probably isn't necessary, that doesn't make it wrong. I've driven a couple hundred thousand miles and have sold hundreds of these configured this way. Not sure how it could be wrong. Your diagram also shows exactly what I show in the video. 🤔
It doesn't matter in the slioghtest whether you map reverse or not. The game does not count it when you select 10, 13 or 18 Eaton Fuller. Also he did map his gears EXACTLY like squirrel did, so I don't know what you are talking about.
