Scam company. After 6 months and no response from CSIO I had to go through my bank for a refund.
as a professional driver, to save your arm and wrist, dont worry about splitting unless you absolutly need it. you can essintly drive an 18 like you would a 8 speed H style. When empty run in high split, and heavy run low split :) you can also start rolling in 3rd low or 2nd high. even when loaded
It looks like a solid shifter. It's definitely one up to up your ATS game.

Absolutely! I agree with you. Most of the reviews on CSIO will have same content... disastrous delivery time and no response to questions....Recently I ordered AplusB SimuShift Knob alongside their professional driving simulator... I kinda liked the fast delivery & performance is far beyond my expectations.. quality of the material is nice! Worth a try.. just go for it.
True. I had similar experience with CSIO ... Pathetic and lamest way of handling a paid customer...instead reading reviews on AplusB simushift knob, I ordered one..All I can say, a good experience with these folks..delivery was fast as promised and responses were quick...quality is decent and works very good..highly recommended.
Jeff a quick trucking tip if you placed your hand on top, (like an actual trucker) the utilization of the splitter and range will be much easier to switch from Hi to Low.

The Front Lever is The High and low Range The smaller button on the side is the splitter
Jeff when you are shifting range and splitter are pre selectable. If you want to go from low to high shift into gear in low and preselect high. When you let off the gas it will automatically shift to high. The splitter can be pre selected after shifting into 4th you can flip the splitter and when you press the clutch the transmission will split automatically. Hope that this helps and makes it a little easier.
Watching you shift helped me understand so shifting much better. I see now how I can set use fanatec shifter using this or even buttons on my wheel.
When u split u can split before u change gear
So going from 2nd h to third low split down before u move the stick so the gear is preloaded
Kudos! I have driven a 379 Pete for many years now with an 18 speed. the shifting looks realistic and you drive it quite well!
Awesome, definitely going to have to order one. To make shifting a little smoother, as you are accelerating in high preselect low. You don't have to wait until you are in neutral to shift back to low and you'll be able to shift to the next gear smoother.
after watching you go through the gears Jeff, I went to walk off but fell over...a new respect for real truckies.
Don't buy from CSIO Tech. They do not respond to emails or phone calls on orders awaiting shipment. If you place your order and expect to get it within three to four weeks... it's not going to happen.

Same! I ordered mine 6 weeks ago and it hasn't shipped yet. On the FAQ page it says it takes no more than 3 weeks. I'm pissed of and impatient with these fools.

as a truck driver just to help you out if you bobtail you dont need to split all the gears you can do all lows then split to high for the final gear and you can start out in 4th if you want to
+pychokenny1 not in ATS ive tried starting from 4L while bobtailing and the truck stalls highest ive been able to start from is 2L

Fyi, you are saying it backwards. What you're calling, "high and low" is actually splitting between direct and high, and the big "paddle" is the range selector, going from high and low range. So the front, is range, side is splitter.
The side slider is the splitter. The front paddle is the range selector
I want to try it, as a truck driver I want to see how it compares to the real shifting feel.
Eaton Fuller straight 10 is my favorite. My truck I'm driving right now is a Eaton Fuller 9 speed. I like manuals but it gets old driving in the city.

Also it would be cool to see your logo as a medallion for your shifter
On the side button, you should pre-select the position before moving into neutral. My RL Peterbilt has an 18 speed with this actual shifter.
actually the flipper switch in front is your high and low switch on side is your splitter switch which is direct and over
the "paddle" in front is low high range , side button is for half gear when you are heavy
what is the hight of the shifter including the shifter knob from csio?
love it but my boot is split and it looks a bit too rugged without the leather. No idea where you can get spares from.

Pal you have the buttons on the shifter backwards... my dad drove a truck and the front flicker is for hi/low and the grey is you splitter
did you use clutch each time when changing gears or game allows to change gears like in real truck without using clutch ?

So recently bought an original Scania shifter but i can't get those splitters to work in ETS. Am i able to take the cables from this shifter and try and get them to work on the Scania shifter?
If you haven't found it theres a new version of vipers 389 (2.0) that allows you to customize the interior, change sleepers (it will change the interior now) and a few other things here and there :)
ALSO when bobtailing you can start in 2nd or 3rd since you are lighter and the gears are so low
Just ordered one of these! Cant wait to learn shifting properly - Find it very difficult with the standard g27 h shifter and buttons for range/splitter!

grey switch is the slitter, the other is your range slector from low range(1-4 down pos) to high(5-8 up pos).
+Wafflehatjoe thanks for the feedback, I wasn't 100% sure how it is set up in the real truck. I had to go with the default values of ATS but they allow you to put it backwards of the game.
+Jeff Favignano ya for sure, in reality and ats really it would be personal preference. in a truck it would just be switching 2 airlines opposite and in ats case keybinds. generally you split more than change from high range to low and thumb slider is far more comfortable

I havent found any bugs yet and the roads line up nicely.

If I buy the skrs add on for my th8a shifter can I just use it for range? No splitter.
Doesn't this come with the metal extension so you can put the shifter on the floor to be like a real truck? I remember seeing a video on CSIO's website but wasn't sure if the product came with the extension or not.

+Pooters Gaming The Logitech shifter isn't strong enough to handle that. You will rip the shifter apart, because the inside is all plastic.
Jeff FYI your calling the switches wrong, the main switch (black one on front) is the range switch and the secondary switch (small gray) is the splitter i.e. "splitting" the gear between high/low

You've got your terminology backwards. The front paddle is the range selector, the side button is the splitter. Also, pre-select your splits and ranges before you move the shifter.
you should NEVER preselect a split.. range, yes, but never, ever PS a split.. you'll ruin the valve in the transmission... yes, I drive these for real...
How long did yours take to deliver? I ordered mine over a month ago and it still hasn't shipped yet

Any idea why CSIO isn't returning my email's or why they haven't shipped my shifter? Lots of "sponsored" videos or this shifter and yet no shifter. I purchased it along worth other accessories and nothing yet and no communication. I have even tried contacting Jeff here. Nothing! Buyer beware

DONT buy from CSIO try the mega shifter or the aplusbsoftware one. There's even a ETS2 style for euro trucks on ebay if you type in SKRS. CSIO doesn't answer emails and I ordered in may. Still NOTHING.. Buyers remorse big time.

Hey Jason, did you get a chance to check AplusB SimuShift knob? I got it recently from amazon .. delivered in 4 days and a very good experience with folks out there. Knob seems to be cool and I feel this is a perfect alternative for CSIO and few others in market now...overall a decent product and with good quality... works great too.. cheers!
For the g27 switchgear you must have the g27 or can you use an another steering wheel
It would be neat to build a pedestal to put the shifter next to your leg. Make that shifted about waist high

+Jeff Favignano Be careful on shifting it dont attempt to speed shift the slots inside the shifter its self are just meer plastic ive already broke the seperator between 4 and R on my shifter ive had it extended for roughly 2-3 years now broke the first 2 weeks of normal usage

We ordered one on january and still dont have it.I know it can take time but we are ready to wait for it.For some customers,it took 4 months to finally get the shifter,so we hope that we get ours soon to get our simulator done.

the front splitter when you flip it is it very snappy like the real thing i got the 10 speed eaton just wish 9th and 10th were geared a bit higher 1400 at 65 is a tad much

you dont need to use all the gears unless your'e pulling like 70-100 tons and if you don't have a trailer you could go from 1L to 3H so you aren't changing gears every 2 seconds and you won't go below 1000 revs

pretty select your gears between high and low, and you don't really need an 18 unless your doing heavy hauls 13 good for any standard loads that way you have more gears for your top end.

What is the gear LL and LH? Is LL 17th gear, and LH is 18th gear or what?
Crawler gear. It's below 1st gear and it can be split.
