I love the promods addons, both for ATS and ETS2. Community maps have really evolved and improved over the years. Whenever I drive these maps (Promods, Canamania, C2C, reforma... all are quality) I keep gettng amazed by the landscapes. Great video once again Sir.

Does the promods work with convoy now? It was broken back 1.44/1.45. Loved Promods but kept crashing for me and my friend.

Thanks for reply. Yeah I just tested Promods with my Australia friend and it crashed twice when we tried load up Kamloops BC. I sent in report and logs back in August 2022, and nothing been done. Single player is fine but convoy is still broken. They don’t seem care either. But good video. Other maps are fine. Like Alaska map (paid mod).
Yeah I going have save up for 3 tvs I guess. Take it easy :)

Hey @zuekgaminghd3098, WRC23 in socks sounds like a fun idea 😄! Regarding the Tobii Eye Tracker, I don't use any eye or head tracking devices for my videos. My setup includes a triple 55" TV and to capture the immersive perspective you see, I use a GoPro camera mounted on a helmet on my head. This setup allows me to film everything in real-time, creating that realistic driving experience. So I can't recommend a good tracker, since I haven't used any😁

I'm in the process of putting together a parts list for a new sim build. The main issue I've been having is finding the displays I want. I've heard 32" is the sweet spot for size, FOV, price, etc, but I really love this large vertical FOV look. I know that to run something like 55" and have a great FOV like you, it has to be decently far from your eyes. I also know that for TV's this big, you NEED to run it at 4k. The LG C1 is a 4k 120hz display, but it only allows HDMI 2.1 input, no DisplayPort. Your GPU has 3x DisplayPort 1.4 and 1x HDMI 2.1, so I have to assume you're using adapters.
Are your adapters running from DisplayPort to HDMI into the TVs, and if so are you stuck at 60hz? Thanks!
Hi man! I'm sitting 1 meter from my TVs and I run them at 2K because I want 120Hz. I can tell you right now that you can forget about 4k 120hz because not even my RTX 4090 can handle that. It's a lot of pixels to run.. And yes I'm using an adapter (link below) from HDMI to DisplayPort and it works great, the only problem is that there are no adapters that work with gsync unfortunately.. Hope this helps 😊

At 1 meter (39"), how is the clarity at 2k? I assumed on a 55", it would be blurry at 2k. I was debating between 4k60 vs 2k120 for sim racing, but it's hard to tell from the video how clear it is.
And to clarify, did you measure 1 meter from your approximate eye position? Does the FOV look as realistic in person, or is that mostly due to the limited camera angle? Lastly, do you experience any "giant car" effect at this size? I know that BoostedMedia has this issue at 65".

At 2k 1 meter away everything looks crystal clear! 💯
I would choose 2k 120fps every day of the week. I sometimes put my displays at 4k just to see if I see any difference, and I honestly don't. I'm very sensitive to pixels. To clarify, 1 meter away from my eyes, and in person I have a much better FoV then the camera can pick up on.
No huge car syndrome, I wanted the 65" TVs, but aftet seeing myself Boosted Medias video, I decided on the 55" and I never feel that the car looks too big or something like that. The 55" TVs are perfect balance in my opinion.
So I would definitely go for the 2K 120fps because 60fps it's very stuttering and Im sure you won't see any pixels as long as you don't sit 20 cm from the screen 😝

I saw in your old videos that you ran triple 32" at one point, I believe. Do you feel like that can compare to your current setup at all? Could you ever go back, or do you feel that the 55" is a must-have?
I can't justify the purchase of the LG C1, but I'm looking at some more budget 55" panels, the Hisense U8H. They're still 2k120hz capable, but more in my price range. Otherwise I'll probably have to go for 32" to keep the cost in line with my wife's happiness.
Also, can you tell me what mount you're using for the TVs? The Next Level Racing mount is the only one I can find that supports TVs this big.

It was actually a single 32" that I still have (I edit my videos on it), and to be honest I hope I never have to go back to it😝

Stopping for railway crossing is never bad idea. The signals don’t always work. Also, did you wave to the AI car that yielded to your turn? Wish they wouldn’t cut inside on right turns, although I’ve seen real car drivers be that stupid too.
@HOWNDOG66, you're absolutely right about the railway crossings - better safe than sorry, especially when AI unpredictability is involved! And yes, I did give a virtual wave to the AI car that yielded; it's important to acknowledge good road etiquette, even in a simulator. 😄🤣

It works perfectly with the C2C mod. I'm not sure if it works with all graphics mods, but it works with my better rain mid👍 Give it a try and see what happens 👍🙂

@@ProjectSimRacing this is true. Snowrunner is very badly optimised for sim rigs and is probably better experienced playing with controller unfortunately…
The force feedback isn’t great, there is no trackIR support and no proper triple monitor, or ultrawide support. Very unfortunate because the game itself is great fun!

Everything is in 4k 60 fps. Maybe your videos didn't load properly at the beginning 😁 Make sure 4k is selected and pause the video so that 1.75 seconds can become as long as you wish😉
