Hi I use spreadsheets every day and one of the common things I hear is how the Vlook up is really useful. I deal with multiple vintage items such as lot grades. example 01a, 12b, 13a. I'm looking for a way to identify older vintages among the lot grades. Example 01a stands for 2001 grade A the first initial run of the product. The second run could be 01b 2001 grade B . My question is how can I do a quick Vlook up to identify older product and compare it against the newer vintages. Any help would be appreciated. Bill
Awesome video. I'd like to create a macro that i can use to paste the vlookup function into blank cells. Can this work using the go to feature? Please let me know. Thanks
