For everyone in the comments saying "this isn't new"...this isn't new to YOU. Loads of people have not known about this and didn't grow up with this as a staple in their homes, and that's ok. Let people enjoy trying things that are new to them.
I felt like them I just wasn't gonna say anything. It's not new to me. It's a childhood snack. But I am so loving that more people are discovering something I've loved for so long. I know you never know what other people know so I never thought about it but to find out this wasn't better known hurt a little cause it's delicious and is even better when shared. So I'm glad it's trending.
You forgot the salt...for anyone wanting to make a smaller batch of this use: 3 TBL of Olive Oil 2 TBL of Balsamic Vinegar 1 TSP of Minced Garlic 1 TSP of Italian Seasoning 1 TSP each of two Italian cheeses (like Asiago, Pecarino, Parmesan, Romano, etc.) 1/4-1/2 TSP of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes 1/4 TSP of Salt I pretty much make this every Friday evening to have a fresh baked loaf of bread and a decent-yet-affordable bottle of wine with.

i was thinking the same i was like is this not just what everyone does with their bread even if they eat at italian restaurants? maybe it’s bc of where i’m from but the italian restaurants around here always give oil balsamic and crushed red pepper that is just THE dip🤣
Yo! Had this "viral" bread dip at a restaurant back in 98. I love how the Internet reinvents the wheel...over and over again. This will be a "viral" bread dip in the year 2123.

i was sayin the same. Ive been using this exact dip since 06 LMAO also i dont get what ppl are saying about the bread, thats fresh bread 100% it may have been baked that morning but it was fresh.
My mom and grandparents made this oil dip all the time when I was growing up. My mom still makes it. But just not the red pepper flakes usually. lol They are 2nd/3rd generation Italian 😊
This is how my favorite Italian restaurant brought crusty bread and dip to the table. You could have just olive oil or the balsamic dip that you guys made. Delicious!
Used to be a place where grew up that gave each table this stuff in a saucer and a whole, fresh loaf of bread. You were meant to tear and dip. I miss that place, they had incredible tiramisu.
A) Please don't use that expensive stuff in this. B) That look on your face when she strangled that poor innocent bread!....lol C) 'Parmmijjon!' LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!

Cool, but it's not new 😂
I get it but this as common as bread and butter
$150 bottle of vinegar and jarred precrushed garlic 😂😂😂😂
Exactly 😭 Pleaaaase crush FRESH garlic! Jarred garlic is no substitute in this kind of raw recipe. You need to taste the FRESHNESS
Seeing that killed a little part of my soul.. jarred garlic is just nasty to begin with...
The pre-shredded cheese too!
We are friends now you know that right?

What is Italian seasoning?
@@koji1319 it's mostly dried basil, dried oregano, dried rosemary, dried thyme and dried marjoram mixed together, but some mixes include dried sage, fennel seeds, garlic powder & crushed red pepper, too.
Now that sounds like a great friday evening. ❤
Thank you😊

Omg I lost it after “I’m 100% done with you.” Hahaha 😂😂😂😂
Im 60, Italian, and had this dip in my baby bottle 😂😂
D E A D 😂🤣😂🤣
Right, Im not Italian but have family that is. This isnt anything new to me. Its new to the next generation and this is how they share it.
I wad gonna say! This is just what they do in Italy. Haha
grew up in an itilian household and yes, been drinking this since a baby😂😂
That bread tear and his face. Much Love y'all. Keep pumping out the gold
That was the saddest bread ever... That can't be fresh. It can't be. It didn't even break, it squished.
Should have wet it and threw it in a 450° oven for 10 mins.
I commented the same 😢 the bread is so bad.
It was fresh out of the plastic bag.
I mean look at the "fresh garlic"
@@Yachii they didn’t call it fresh garlic. They called it crushed garlic. Still sad. But they didn’t call it fresh.
I’m truly glad you found a loving mate that matches your energy and the need to blow my earphones out on a medium level .🙌🏼
Literally every Italian American has been having this “viral” bread dip for years.
Right! I was like this isn't new! In college, my Italian Roommate made this for us all the time, back in the early 2000's.
Lol... Im guessing everybody in america will have a heart attack when they figure out what we actually eat over here in Italy.
This is like a regular midnight munchies snack for me 😂

I was just about to say that lol I grew up on this every Sunday dinner with the family ain’t nothing new
Olive oil, parmesan and cracked black pepper is really good, too.
$129 balsamic vinegar. Then minced garlic from a jar?!?! Fresh would do it better justice!
"look at that fresh bread" while he is still holding the plastic bag from the store lol love it

129 dollar vinegar, then she pulls out the crushed garlic jar instead of fresh garlic. I gasped lol

Do any of you realize how uptight and miserable you sound? Lol
Omg I literally GASPED.
They're ... cute natural and real. 😊
You kids are so good together.
we get that at one of our fine italian resturants here, and it is delish.
Very common at italian and Sicilian restaurants, and I always eat at least 2 servings to myself when i see it.
Yup gotta try this one!! Thanks you two!

I was low key offended by the jarred garlic but I'll definitely be trying this
