He and Kyra lost all their money to Bernie Madoff, a lot more than most other celebrity clients. But they picked themselves up and started taking a lot more work than they normally would. That's why Kevin has been in what feels like a thousand movies in the last ten years. I really admire both of them.

Kevin I did the exact same thing probably 15 years ago----I had no idea that could happen !! I bit into it and it exploded like a hand grenade--burnt the roof of my mouth--tongue--and lips and it is something you will never forget !! ( I carried it from the microwave all the way to the living room before it went off--after taking a bite)
I did the same with a pierogi when I was a teenager. Not microwaved, this was deep fried and apparently a potato steam grenade. Bit into it and hot potato exploded all over my mouth. It was extremely painful. To this day, I always cut my pierogi into pieces before eating it.
Kevin bacon is still awesome! You can put eggs in the microwave. Cut in 1/2 in 10 sec bursts. Cut the zucchini in half and shred for zucchini bread, zucchini crab cakes, etc

Potatoes can be dangerous too ! I always used to use baking bags to bake taters in the microwave. It disappeared tho. Haven’t bought a new one yet, so I now use a bowl with a bit of water in it (keep an eye on it so it doesn’t boil dry), but I always, without fail, puncture the tater a few times ALL the way through it because I’m so afraid they’ll blow up. I put my beef stew in the microwave last week and the cubed potatoes on the top of it ALL blew up ! I’d forgotten to put my spatter guard on top of the bowl. 😂 The microwave was a freaking mess, but at least my lips were not hanging on some cloth somewhere, or the floor or in my hair ! 😝 But hey, I’m 75, so I’m claiming dementia as my reason for being forgetful RE the spatter guard.
I was wearing my Strike Force Five t-shirt when I stopped in the local hardware store for paint. The guy mixing the paint said, "I love your t-shirt." Then we got in a long discussion over all the things we loved and missed about the podcast.

He's a likable guy and an institution, or like a favored color in a choice of palatte for directors: known, memorable, reliable, but in a way that enhances what other colors you mean to use and show off, not indifferent or unchanging, but a known sort of standard of quality that can strengthen a piece at its core.
The big ones are good for stuffing. Cut in half lengthwise , remove seeds, fill with whatever you want (I do minced beef) and roast in the oven. i think the bigger ones work better than the regular ones for that. And zuchinni and Eggplant like celerysalt.
