In order to get the economy out of this stagnation, Reagan introduced "Reaganomics" and used trickle-down economics to justify major tax cuts for the wealthy and minimal cuts for the poor. The economy did leave "stagflation" but wealth inequality was exasperated to a point that we still haven't fully recovered from. Trickle-down economics doesn't work.

I don't understand why this is so difficult for twitch. At least here in Aus, if you're a retail store or community radio station or anything that plays music, you simply pay a licensing fee to APRA and they distribute the royalties to the artists. Twitch could do the same thing. Then all streamers would have to do is pay the fee and list the songs. done.
Amazon are not particularly shit-giving as far as twitch goes, twitch isn't profitable as it currently stands and as anyone who is a bit more technically aware of twitch then things like how the clipping system was developed by one person essentially in their free time would speak volumes for how few resources twitch will receive. Amazon simply doesn't care enough about Twitch, and they are more likely to drop their ownership than waste a tonne of money on a website that isn't very large and doesn't make a profit. Twitch is a percent of a percent of amazon (not even 1%, closer to 0%), as a content consumer you are "in the machine" and so don't realise how insignificant twitch actually is.
