It's sad because people who are good at debating can debate with a flawed premise and look like they're winning. This is what Andrew was doing here. I respect his opinions. But all in all it comes down to a difference in values between him and xQc. X made some good arguments too, he sees his relationships with his girl as deeper and laden with mutual respect, compared to Tate who feels more territorial with his women, seeing them in a more traditional way where they have less autonomy. That's fine. But the fact that Tate managed to stay calmer made people think that he won the argument.

I was laughing my ass off the whole time. The fact that Tate actually took time out of his day to try have a professional conversation with this guy is what amazed me the most. Andrew is simply listening to the conversation, he addresses the points people bring to him keeping track of every detail that was presented within them. XQC is the opposite, he listens to the "main" argument completely ignoring every detail and keeps re-iterating points that have already been addressed, he does not listen in the least. This stream is actually one of the best things that could've happened for Tate's online reputation. My mum drove me everywhere for my 16 years of life she is an excellent driver 0 crashes great parking skills the only car accident I have been in was with my uncle who has driven me about 1000x less regularly than my mum. Dont get me wrong I dont agree with everything Tate says but I do believe he won 100% of the arguments because X did not communicate his ideas as well. Even in situations where he was correct ,in my opinion, which there were not many of, he lost the argument by being a dumbass.

@@g3333k you completely misunderstood Tate's point just like X. His personal opinion based on his experience is that generally women are worse drivers than men. When you live life outside you notice stuff, patterns that repeat such as drunk people are dangerous, women are worse drivers. Just because there are internet studies, does not mean they are accurate cuz governments and NGOs manipulate quite often studies. What you experience in real life might not be the objective statistic, but it is how people who live in real life form opinion unlike 4 chan pseudo intellectuals who think they are above normal ppl cuz they have information that average ppl don't. If my experience in real life is that people around me hate ethnic people then I will have opinion that people in my area are racist and that can be different from the internet study. It truly is. There are so many things that Tate says that I can't condone, but goddamn it's impossible to not hold this man at an incredible level of respect. He is truly a master of his mind and body and his patience was incredible. I hope that we can all one day be as comfortable and confident with ourselves as he is.
when you make disrespectful generalizations and takes then it's pretty hard to not be sensitive. The problem in the debate is that they need to make it fully clear that tate is either complete satire in all things he says and does or he actually believes everything he says. if this is all satire tate is at fault because he doesn't make it clear at all because the vast majority of people believe that he is being serious. if tate actually is being serious then he is still at fault because the things that he says are very often pretty sexist generalizations. saying that women are bad drivers is pretty dumb to say. men cause more crashes, yet he says he feels safer with a man at the wheel. if there is no valid reason to back that statement that women are bad drivers, then the only reason he could say such a thing is he is sexist or joking and we already know as I've stated earlier that if he is joking he is in the wrong so either when he says his radical takes he is either just wrong or just sexist.
