    Did you forget to mention Vitamin D3’s sidekick, Vitamin K2 (mk-7)? This vitamin ensures that the calcium you ingest and that Vitamin D3 absorbs is properly metabolized and sent to your bones and teeth where it is needed, and removed from your soft tissues - like your kidneys (stones), arteries (plaque), joints (arthritis), and eyes (cataracts) - where calcium tends to deposit and cause problems if not properly “guided” to the bones.
    . Take 100 μg (micrograms, or mcg) of K2 (mk-7) for every 5,000 IU of D3.

    Vitamin D deficiency is likely to also indicate other deficiencies of essential vitamins and minerals. Any deficiency of what is needed for our mitochondria to make what they are asked will automatically cause the formation of free radicals or antioxidants which is a primary cause of cell damage and cell death which is a primary cause of many if not most diseases. Almost no one gets what they need from their diet. Without eating a large amount and variety of fresh vegetables and fruit it's impossible. Frozen vegetables have a lot less than freash and canned vegetables have almost nothing for the most part.
    I think exercise, sunlight and a good diet are extremely helpful but almost everyone is going to need supplements during our current age of the Soylent green food processing. I'm kidding of course though old people would probably be more nutritious than the average food available. I heard they were considering a sequel to Soylent Green called Chicken Nuggets. 🤗

    Regular sun exposure is the most natural way to get enough vitamin D, but too much sunlight comes with health risks.
    Spending even a short time in the sun can provide the body with all of the vitamin D it needs for the day. According to the Vitamin D Council, this could be: 15 minutes for a person with light skin.

    What is this (cholecalciferol) made from ?

    • @HealthyVerifiedChannel
      @HealthyVerifiedChannel Месяц назад

      Cholecalciferol is produced from provitamin D in human skin, on exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Meanwhile it is made from lanolin retrieved from washing lambs' wool.

    You have several misinformation details, to include “getting vitamin D from the sun.” Doesn’t a person have to eat a precursor of vitamin D BEFORE the sun turns it into it??? And since vitamin D IS a fatty vitamin, doesn’t “fat soluble” mean something else?

      One fact most are not aware of is tgat for your body to make Bit D it also needs cholesterol, and if your body is in a high insulin state the process is thwarted. So a low cholesterol diet with a lot of carbs will result in low vitamin D production no matter how much sunlight your exposed to.
