Smoothing destroys te fiber in fruits and veggies. Thus, the smoothie might cause a glycemic spike due to fast absorption of the fructose in the fruits. Please eat a motejares portion of the whole fruit. Spinach is also rich in calcium oxalate and should be avoided by people that form calcium oxalate kidney stones. The way to neutralize the sodium oblates in spinach is to eat them together with cheese like in traditional Greece food. Note also that cooking/heating foods rich in vitamin C strongly reduces the vit. C content.
You still get the fiber because even blended, the fiber is still in the smoothie. Juicing is another story because you are removing all the fiber. As long as you drink the smoothie slow, it’s not going to spike your sugar. But you should have flax and other fats to help slow it down.
Smoothies do not destroy fiber because nothing is thrown out, everything is included when it all goes in the blender. Juicing is another story, the pulp gets separated out and that's where the fiber is
Blending fruits and vegetables into smoothies can alter the fiber structure, potentially leading to quicker sugar absorption, but they still provide valuable nutrients. It's true that spinach contains oxalates, which can be a concern for those with kidney stone issues, but combining it with calcium-rich foods like cheese can help reduce the risk. Cooking can indeed decrease vitamin C levels in foods, so for maximum benefits, consuming some foods raw is beneficial.
Seems like juices must be avoided first, 5:29 smothees second... What about grating? I used to make a salad with 1 celery root, medium size, 2-3 green apples, 3 medium size carrots. I really enjoy your video and purchased your book too. There seems to an issue on nuts. I ate so much and difference kinds of nuts prior to my colon surgery. Beside nuts, I ate high fiber diet, fresh fruits and drank shake for lunch for the past two years. Doctors and nutritionists instructed to stay with low fiber diet and stay away from fresh fruits and especially nuts. With the stage III colon cancer and soon to start my chemotherapy, under these conditions, would you still recommend nuts and fresh fruits? Others doctors and nutritionists' explanations on stay away from high fiber foods seem logical. Yet your presentation seems to make senses but what would you advise on nuts and fresh fruits? TIA.

Concerning Cancers I believe that the sugar content needs to be reduced greatly, these tropical fruits that are used in your recipes are to sweet and there fore surely would grow the cancers as it lives off sugar.
I think the fiber content in the fruit allows the body to process the natural sugars in fruits more efficiently. But, then, we are humans, and there are always exceptions! (a morning after comment edit)
Diana, you are not the first person to mention this and I plan on researching this deeper. Is it that nobody should be consuming sugars from fruits no matter their level of health or is this really a point for people who have certain predispositions?

Tri-Form 80 permitted by EPA NZ is a liquid fumigant containing chloropicrin at 795 g/kg and 1,3-dichloropropene at 195 g/kg as the active ingredients, plus other components. It is intended for use as a pre-plant soil fumigant for the management of a wide range of soil-borne diseases and plant parasitic nematodes, and for the suppression of weeds. BON APPETIT ! The hazard classifications of Tri-Form 80 determined by the EPA are:
• acute inhalation toxicity Category 1
• acute oral toxicity Category 2
• acute dermal toxicity Category 2
• skin corrosion Category 1C
• serious eye damage Category 1
• respiratory sensitisation Category 1
• skin sensitisation Category 1
• germ cell mutagenicity Category 2
• carcinogenicity Category 2
• specific target organ toxicity - single exposure Category 1
• specific target organ toxicity - repeated exposure Category 1
• hazardous to the aquatic environment acute Category 1
• hazardous to the aquatic environment chronic Category 2
• hazardous to soil organisms
• hazardous to terrestrial vertebrates
• hazardous to terrestrial invertebrates.
I listen and decide what's best for me/us.
Of course!
And America make sure pesticides are in the poor neighborhoods or should I say not rich because some of these people are paying a lot of money to survive nothing but a joke.
iS THERE A PRODUCT IN THE MARKET WHEREIN ALL THESE INGREDIENTS ARE PRESENT?
Me too and have for 35 years but I also take about 25 amino acids and various supplements each day and my skin is flawless. Nca is a must as glutathione is actually more protective then any antibiotic. It saved me when
I had covid early on and was dying in Silicon Valley.
No, but if you really study amino acids, you will find so much healing within them because our body is made up of amino acids and then there’s new supplements that are super anti-aging and actually add 10 years to your life. Fascinating.
Grow fresh berries in a container, easy to grow and delish..
Fresh berries in a container? How is that done?
Thank you!
I appreciate the receipes.
Yes please more wonderful and healthy recipes..💝🙏🙏🙏
Will do!
Thank you for your video.
I would very much like to see more recipes.
Sounds great.Unfortunately, I have to work. I mean, seriously, the time it takes to prepare the food is stressful. Eat an apple less work
Meal prep on the weekends can make it less stressful.
@@vitazenhealth People don’t have excess time during the week because of working. Workers do things on weekends they don’t have time for during the work week!
Really, there are only 168 hours in a week.
The only way these meals would be possible, if you’re not a talented cook, is to be married to one who WILL actually do it - with you making enough money to enable her to do it.
SIMPLICITY is the soul of practical creativity!
An apple in the morning spikes your blood sugar and insulin, bad thing to do. Eat a couple pasture raised eggs much healthier and won't spike your blood sugars.
Thanks 🙏
Thanks 🌍👂♥️🙌🙌
Great info for health, thank you
Do you actually post the recipes for these breakfasts anywhere or are they in any of your books? Can I add protein power an collagen powder into the cook and muffin recipe or will more moisture need to be added to offset the powder added from the extra protein and collagen? Does the salmon need to be sushi grade or does it need to be pan grilled or smoked? How does one smoke it? Can it be grilled as well as the mango and served hot for lunch or dinner?
I have a nut allergy. I had an anaphylactic shock when I eat a co nut. My doctor advised me to avoid All nuts to be on the safe side. 😊k😊
Please follow doctors advice!

Thank you so much doc for very informative video.
Glad it was helpful!
Be careful with spinach. It’s high in oxalates. Also, be sure it’s wild caught salmon and not farmed.
Thank you for the reminder about spinach and salmon!
Ocean farmed salmon is healthier than wild caught because the ocean farms are located in clean waters which are tested regularly for contaminants.
@@vitazenhealthOcean farmed salmon is healthier. Those ocean farms are located in contaminant free water and they test regularly, and move the ocean farms if the water quality drops at all. They’re cleaner and healthier than wild caught. Especially with the Fukushima plant issues, I only buy Atlantic salmon, additionally.
@@schoolingdiana9086 It depends on what the farmed salmons are fed with. It is not very helpful if the food does not include algae,
Greek yogurt psrfait, did I get it right?please correct me. thanks
Wonderful information...Suggestions I can use to improve my health.
I'm glad you found the information helpful! Remember to prioritize your health.
No eggs??..i have frittata..salmon on home made keto bagels with greens..keto pancakes with berries..I skip breakfast though most days to fast ..
This video is centered on the arguments of Dr. Li. Though he does mention the use of eggs in his book, he doesn't really highlight them or their health benefits at all during his interviews.
Thank you so much sir
You're welcome! Glad you liked the video!!
TIA.
Hi dr li..thanku fr the video...plese can u plese write dwn the receipes at the beginning of the video...we love to bake these healthy stuff but cant listen to the video and also try to write just missing alot on the imp inf..

Great info.....but i cant do raw salmon. I need it cooked.
Yes, recipes are very appreciated!!!
Glad you like them!
Where ARE the recipes
Fruits and vegetables and water are the main source of keeping us healthy❤
So true!
It all depends on how much sugar you add in your food.
Love to have more recipes. Thanks
And eggs!
Gwen, that's what I believe so, but I'll do some more research!!
You have good sugar and bad sugar.. so fruit sugar is fine..
It's the refined sugars we have to be cautious about is my understanding.
Our meals keep changing. 😋 as we keep eating less meat, less procese, less oil. Etc.
So true!

Channels like this, think they show extraordinary things when what is extraordinary is nature, and everything it produces, not a select group of foods.
Plese i do not eat any sea product is ther any other way to make up fr this fish..
In love with Dr. Li, is that weird? The stem cell diet and then I have stem cells. Go figures . Exosomes to be exact:) forget about knee surgery forget about shoulder surgery forget about L4 L5 fusion just gets stem cells!
