**Updated for 1.34** Can get more performance out of this car! Make the following adjustments. Downforce: Front 100, Rear 250 Ballast: +10 @ -32 ECU: 97% Credit farming method. Le Mans track in France. Set fuel mapping to 6. Keep out as long as possible (light rain is ok). If the rain is heavy, pit and switch the wet tires/intermediate until the track dries. If the weather plays nicely you can win with a single pit stop and stay on racing hard tires the entire race. If rain is heavy, you'll have more than enough time to pit in lap 5-6 again to flip tires back to RH. This isn't the absolute fastest method to farm credits, but the goal was the build a tune that worked on a car that most people should have in their garage.
I find the lower paying Sardegna track more valuable in that you can use and test many different cars for fuel efficiency etc that will eventually help you in multi-player as well as the endurance races and any future races released that will require knowledge on specific cars for best results, and it only earns you slightly less than this method, at 785k/28 mins or even less. The car isn't widebody. I try to keep most of them close to stock so I can use them for different races. The livery is shared and should be under my profile Voss_Evolved. If not it's called "Performance GT (Custom). Hope you enjoy it!
This car can, in an almost stock set up, go for a no-stop strategy on Tokyo Expressway 600 and win the same amount of money as Le Mans 700 in 27 minutes instead of 30. It's a gold mine.
@@Voss44 my set-up runs on sports hard, customizable ECU, 97% power restriction and 5kg of ballast to hit precisely 600.00pp, and Fuel Map 4. Everything else is stock, including the aero (80front 80rear) With proper driving it can clear the track with 0.2 laps left on the tank, and 35 seconds ahead of first place, so there's wiggle room for hitting walls and getting penalties, as well as putting it on fuel map 5. I recommend using 6th gear after the uphill on the straight line for further fuel economy.
For sure I'll start to add gearing - great idea TY! To be honest most of the time I'm adjusting by just the top speed. I'm only ever playing with the individual gear ratios on like 2nd/3rd if I'm having to shift on corners etc.
I've tried this about 4 times and although the car is fast at first it never gets to the very front and still needs quite frequent pit stops despite the fuel mapping set to 6. For some reason you've inexplicably not shared the gear settings you used! If you share them I will try again knowing we have exactly the same setup, otherwise the tuning you've provided simply didn't work for me - each lap takes about 4.5-5 minutes which isn't enough to even complete the race in time, and that's without any issues on the track.
So without fail I'll be in 1st at the end of lap 3. You can run a full 4 laps within pitting (just getting to the end of lap 4) to stay out as long as possible and gain time. Most cars will pit on lap 3 or 4. Most of the time I'm running a single pit stop (weather dependent of course) and fuel mapping 6 from laps 1-7. On lap I'll go full out with fuel mapping 1. Gear ratios are: 1st = 3.439/86 2nd = 2.235/133 3rd = 1.597/186 4th = 1.200/247 5th = 0.948/313 6th = 0.788/404 Final = 3.360 Good feedback on the ratios. I'll include the gear ratios in videos going forward. Typically i don't adjust them much unless I'm finding I have to shift on corner exits. I run with minimal assists (traction 2), manual, everything else off. On straights this car is faster than most except the viper holds up well. On corners you should be crushing the competition and making up significant time. Also important to note, unless the water on the track is getting near the 1/2 point on the meter, I'll stay on racings hards to gain time. Hope this helps!
@@Voss44 Okay I figured it out haha, not sure if you do this already, but I put the difficulty mode on easy :) I won the clean race bonus and got a lot. For some reason on normal I just can't get close to first...
@@samanthastone6027 Oh that'll work! I've been running it on hard, so might just be getting more familiar with the track and making up time in the corners. Either way, hope you like the tune and it helps earn you some credits!
Yeah you're not wrong, that's how they create downforce. Depending on the car, I'd trade off fuel consumption for more downforce almost every day of the week. With this build even with the extra downforce you'll have about a minute ahead of any competitor. So you get better handling, faster lap times, and with no effect on the end result. But like I mention in the video, everyone tunes differently. Don't use aero if you don't like it, but you'll definitely have the back half of that car kick out more often.

Great question I don't think I included it in the video. Go to GT auto and get an upgraded spoiler. Any of the options allow you to further adjust downforce. From there if you go back into your garage you can adjust the downforce accordingly.
