    I've tuned through the manual option but when I move the ratio thing my numbers on the manual change to something else but if I change the ratio thing again the new given numbers won't change why is that? Hope it made sense but its really frustrating because I get my car to go up to 270 mph but once I move the ratio my custom numbers will change

    The Zeus CL looks cool but it's not a clear improvement over the Taurus. The Taurus has a similar cargo capacity and it has a drop-down cargo area.

    the nursa...a random ai pirate spawned and attacked my connie when i was exploring in my nursa. it was too focused of trying to destroy my connie it ignored my nursa firing at it. i managed to destroy it and got back into ship and flew off and get repaired. only damage was the middle area in red, rest of ship no damage, was scary but made it. idk if a player did a npc bounty and i happened to be on site or what but yea it was worth a drink o7

    We never got the Zeus MK1 so it's a successor to just game lore, no big deal. As for the Ship, I have the ES. Seems like a decent daily driver but the weapons are just meh because they don't put off many shots at all. Ship has some serious power issues even if you upgrade the power plants to grade A.

    Did you make this news video yourself? Its awesome. The Zeus Mk II ES is pretty, but not a great explorer. Its basically a enlarged Cutter Rambler with no new functionality; and its has less utility than the CL. If the ES is an explorer (and not a combat ship), the ES should have its missiles replaced by probes (for giving detailed information on planets). The 2 S4 guns should be removed (having forward firing main guns is a fighter design); but this should be replaced with a second top turret (2 x S3 weapons). These turrets should act as pilot controlled forward firing weapons unless someone operates the remote turrets. The ES ship is slow and sluggish, and this weapon design gives the pilot weapons for solo play (4 x S3 forward firing), and 360 degree defense if fully crewed; this should be standard for all midsized non-combat ships (loadout may vary). As an explorer, I would also add a 4th bunk as a Tier 2 or 1 medical bed, but remove its ability to respawn players. That way you can also enlarge the cargo ramp to allow an Ursa for exploration. The Zeus CL is difficult to load. To fix this the cargo bay's weapon locker should be moved to the hall (like the ES), and the cargo components shifted to the front of the cargo bay. This way the cargo grid can be widen to 4 SCU or 2 x 2 SCU with a central walk way. This allows quick loading for 2x2x8 crates, and with effort a 3rd layer can be added on top of this. To better enable this, the cargo ramp needs to be widened, and its sloping roof should raise so that the whole roof is level when loading. Its current design seems to be solely centered around preventing a N-Ursa from boarding.

      Oh wow can't say how much I appreciate your take on it. I agree with the loading, that design 100% is to limit vehicle size. I think a medical bed might overlap way too much with an Apollo (also from RSI). But agreed, it's maybe a bit too basic in it's functionality and it'll likely get adjusted. I didn't touch on it in the vid, but the shield health seems to be a biggest differentiator between all ships in that range. The Zeus has great shielding, but once you get through it; not much health. For combat it's going to rely much more on engineering that anything else in that range. The Zeus might need more crew to have any sustainability vs. something like the cutlass. Yeah made it myself, but leveraged templates for the intro of course. Still took awhile, but if the format is good I'll look to drop the occasional news article on the verse ;)

    Dang. I’m really looking for an explanation of what the numbers to the left of the slash mean for each gear. What bigger or smaller means. What the number to the bigger number to the right of the slash means, what the final gear number means. And why the numbers I find in tunes online ever exactly match what I have for my car. And if trying to make them match if the number on the left or the right of the slash is important. I also want to know what the rpm line means and why mine is often different than the tunes I find online. This is like the 15th guide I’ve found and no one ever explains these things. :(

    This information is by doubt the best video to help tune a car. I actually had no idea that this needed to be done to help tune the car. I was a mechanic in the army (motor pool) 63 B10 bravo and received my diploma. Got out then started working on cars. Granted that was back in the 70's & 80's. I mostly did engine stuff not too much suspension. Although I did change out a few a K-frames, ball joints, idler arms, but still. This will be a BIG help with the ride of most all cars I'm sure.     The Stanlick formula: Gear Ratio = 1 ÷ (1 - ((1 - (1 ÷ Point of Convergence)) ÷ Convergence Factor) • (Final Term)) Explanation: • Point of Convergence: This represents the desired 1st gear ratio upon which all other ratios will converge. It sets the foundation for the exponential progression of subsequent gear ratios. • Step-Length: Calculated as Number of Gears - 1, or (N - 1), is the amount of steps between the Point of Convergence and the remainder of the steps, or in this case, gears. For a 10-speed you would have 9 steps, for a 9-speed it would be 8 steps, for an 8-speed it'd be 7 steps, and so on; just be sure that the difference between the Final Term Floor and the Convergence Factor is always equal to (N - 1). • Convergence Factor: This controls how quickly all steps (or gear ratios) converge towards the final step (or ratio) that is at the Nth step (or gear). It's closely tied to the Number of Gears (N) and the desired Overdrive because: Convergence Factor + / - (+ / - Final Term Floor) = N - 1. The Convergence Factor is always minus a (negative Final Term Floor value), and plus any (positive Final Term Floor value). The Convergence Factor must be reduced or increased according to whatever value the Final Term Floor is to follow the rule N-1 = Step Length, which ensures that the Step Length is constant. • Final Term: This term is incremented for each gear, starting from the highest (final) gear and adding +1 to it for each preceding gear. Its floor value determines the Drive Level. A Drive Level of 0 = no Overdrive (1.00 : 1.00 top gear) whereas negative values for Drive Level such as -1 will produce levels of Overdrive. The opposite is true for values > 1, yielding more Torque Multiplication closer to the Nth ratio and producing Underdrive. • Final Term Ceiling is what ensures that the first gear ratio is achieved when it matches the Convergence Factor. This means that if you add 1 to a Final Term of -1: (-1 + 1) and make it zero, you'll get 1.00 : 1.00 as an output from the formula. If you add 1 again, it produces a number that is > 1.00. If you continue to increase the Final Term incrementally by 1, by the time it equals the given Convergence Factor, the formula will produce the desired first gear ratio that was set as your Point of Convergence. Example: • Using 1÷(1−((1−(1÷3))÷8)×(−1)) for a 10-speed transmission, it will produce the following ratios from 1st to 10th gear (rounded to the nearest hundredth): 3.00, 2.40, 2.00, 1.71, 1.50, 1.33, 1.20, 1.09, 1.00, and 0.92. • The reason it has 8 as the Convergence Factor is because it is for a 10-speed gearbox wherein there are 9 steps between the given ratio of first gear and the resulting ratio of last gear, so (9 + -1) = a Final Term Ceiling of 8, and that ceiling (8 - -1) = 9, which preserves the Step Length of 9 for a 10-speed. Whenever the Final Term matches the Convergence Factor, the result will always = Point of Convergence, which is in this case 3.00 at 1st gear. • Of course, if you keep the Point of Convergence at 3.00 but lower the Final Term Floor to something that is < -1, say -2 or even -3, it will produce several levels of Overdrive and will create a more gradual progression both converging to the Point of Convergence and diverging towards the Nth gear. The opposite of this is true if you want less overdrive and desire a final gear of 1.00:1.00. Just make the Final Term Floor = 0, and the step length of N-1 for a 10-speed that is 9 would be seen as the Point of Convergence because (9 + 0) = 9. Key Principles & Advantages: • Exponential Scaling: The formula generates gear ratios that follow an exponential decay pattern where going in the direction further from the Point of Convergence there is progressively less delta between consecutive ratios (convergence). This results in a "wider" ratio spread amongst the lower gears, prioritizing torque at lower speeds, and each gear above the previous becomes progressively closer on the delta between consecutive ratios (divergence) as they get closer to the Nth gear. Obviously, given the sheer number of gears and the other parameters in the formula, you can scale exactly how steep this exponential decay (convergence towards Point of Convergence and divergence towards the Nth gear) is and exactly how gradual or sudden it is to get the set of ratios that best suits your needs and vehicle using pure algebra. This is a mathematically precise way to take advantage of the nature of geometric exponential feedback loops, that yields numerically perfect and scalably balanced ratio spreads with zero guesswork beyond the input of initial values. • Adaptable Convergence and Divergence: The Step Length adjusts dynamically based on the number of gears and desired Overdrive as determined by the Final Term Floor, ensuring seamless integration across various transmission setups. • Precise Overdrive Control: The Final Term Floor value allows for precise control over the top gear's overdrive level, enabling customization for specific tracks and racing strategies. • Consistent Step Length: The formula maintains a consistent step length (N - 1) between gear ratios, ensuring a balanced and predictable progression for smoother shifts and improved driver control. Ratio Spreads from 10 to 3-speed • Here is a series of charts for a 10-speed all the way down to a 3-speed.     How did you get it at 506HP but 699pp, I followed everything to a T and sitting at 716.19pp with every other stat identical. Any thoughts or advice?

    Just finished the race with this setup, can confirm it still works great after update 1.49. Finished in 1st by about 50 seconds from second, averaged around 2:00 laps throughout. Great Setup!
