I love Engine Swaps it’s a great idea, but like everyone else I seldom get an engine ticket (maybe once every other month) and it’s only rarely an engine that I actually want. Sony needs to make them available to buy… 😂😢
It's absolutely CRIMINAL that they still lock engines behind tickets Just let us buy them, they all have a resale value Make a tab in the used cars or their precious Hagerty and let us BUT IT!!!
This vid would be great if I could actually get more swaps...polyphony is lost...one of the best features in the game and its based on terribly poor odds rng
Great video, it's Polyphony's gatekeeping which prevents us from getting the engines. There's a lot of the swaps I can't do either because I can't get the ticket... Does anyone know if you can go to the tuning area, and if you're in say for example the F40, if you purchase a new engine does it go to your parts tickets or does it install in your current car & you lose the previous engine?
@@CJColvin Well, if they would just let us purchase the engines, that would solve the freaking gatekeeping for everyone on the swaps, the prices are really high
I got an Escudo engine and tried the swap into the Mitsubishi Lancer Final. I was so disappointed when i realised it only has 5 gears and massive turbo lag :(
Yeah that Escudo was a time trial one week. The way to drive it to win was to keep the revs super high in the band and skip gears when shifting up. It’s a tricky engine for sure. I don’t have that sap yet so can’t comment on a tune, but I’d play with the gear ratios to get you good RPM range on corners
@@Voss44 Yeah i played a bit around with the gear ratios but havent found the perfect tune for it yet to avoid the Turbo lag. Wish it would perform any better like the Nissan Silvia Q's that drives 420 km/h easily :D or the Nissan Fairlady Z thats actually good ones as far as i can judge it
I'll update my pinned comment. Was added last patch. Suzuki V8-Suzuki-VGT-Gr.3 (Suzuki Vision GT Gr.3) goes into the: Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 Road Car BMW M3 Evo '89 Subaru BRZ S '15
Love Gran Turismo, but the antics used today to try to keep players playing, actually drove me away...drip feeding content & straight up lying...selling cars was advertised to be in game at launch...it took how long to add?? And then they still want to control how many cars you can sell...imagine..lol I haven't played since September, jumped on Xmas day for two races with my bud, haven't played since .. I've owned every Gran Turismo from the OG on PS1, but controlling content the way Polyphony (and others) do today "drives" me away.. I went back to playing Assetto Corsa on PC - the customization is beyond imaginable, mods out the ying-yang. Now I dont expect GT to allow what's possible with AC, but I dont like being lied to, and then acknowledge it is coming but take 6 months to implement a feature that was technically already in the game..GT7 is operating on the same engine as GTSport.. Sorry, ranting cause I expected more honour and integrity from Polyphony, but I was fooled..

👍
Can i switch engines between cars like if i already put it on a car can i switch the stock one back and put the engine in a different car?
