10:12 so I really thought the premise that queerness is haram was based on more than 2 lines from the story of the prophet Lot. The lines themself are ambiguous but make so much more sense when applied to *grape. Queerness and trans identity is scientifically proven to be based in our DNA makeup and Allah does not make mistakes in how he makes us. Humans do make mistakes in how they interpret the word of Allah and I believe the anti-queer rhetoric is just masked bigotry.

SALAM! I am a queer revert. But I found my faith in the Quran and Sufism. There are many paths and interpretations. I will be honest, most of the current "main stream" Muslims will not accept you. But it's not about them. It's about you and God. ❤
I am a gay Muslim I live in the USA , I am recently been coming out in baby steps. But being gay is not wrong , cas we are people we are not animals, I work like everyone else and eat like everyone else can do wat a heterosexual man can do I just like guys
I'm in the process of starting to learn about Islam in my journey for a closer connection to God & religion. Being that I'm queer, it hurts my heart when I hear about hate towards us cuz I think we all just want to have community. ❤️🩹 I've had (& do have) many Muslim friends, & am making more all the time. We've cared for each other very much. This sort of thing is not new for me since I was raised Christian & was told I would burn in hell since I was 9 years old, but it never made sense to me that a loving God would hate me for loving, or for being myself. Anyway, it's so nice to hear & see queer religious folks sharing their thoughts & feelings. Thank you.
@RattieRae i think you just want to believe in a higher self which is why u keep jumping from one religion to another to fill in that gap. and that ur muslim friends have made a positive impact on u. which is why u think islam is somehow good at its core. what islam says about gays isnt so different than what christianity says tbh. in fact in islam, is a gay who has engaged in sexual activities is supposed to be killed. its literally in the quran and many hadith. refuting this literally means that u're just cherry picking verses that fit ur agenda and not actually following the religion.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I’m literally a white girl from ohio but i’m going to revert today inshallah and i needed this so much. I didn’t believe that muslims could live comfortably as gay women and men. Thank you so much for this insight brother and sisters 🫶🏻💕

Love this vid but let's not skip the facts "Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people." The noble Quran 7:81 You said it's about rape, right? But you can't rape women so it's about homosexuality not rape
"its a sin to be gay" is NOT there in ANY of the Ibrahamic Scriptures. Its not written in any of the three biggest Religious books. Jewish, Christian, Islam. its about RAPE, and other nasty things that is written there. Its just peoples predjudice, And their rubbish, and they just stick and stick with it. So I never bothered with Any Religion ever again, since people tend to see things in it, that are not there/written, And say it like that is what is written. I am Lebanese/Palestinian in origin, I may not be Religious, But I know the Languages involved, and I NEVER SAW any sentences like "gay people are a sin, and we should be put to death" or anything even vaguely similar. people just dont exept me, but I never had any problem with any of that until I left Lebanon. People always treated me right there.
Hey im also lebanese and I lived there for a bit when i was younger, but i was curious to know what’s your experience been like there if you’re openly queer? I hope that Lebanon is improving and making progress when it comes to queer rights
@@elentiyafae I had good times in Lebanon being a gay teenager in mid 90's, The sexual revolution was already beginning in Lebanon at the time. Anyone that did notice me was for the right reasons, it was never for anything bad. Nobody ever bothered me. I had a few Boyfriends as well. But that changed when my parents decided to come to Australia. Things were not the same anymore.
Mabye you can do a show about it. Here in europe all the muslims i knop, exept one. Say gay is haram, of you do " the deed". And gay it itselve also. I heard the imam say its only haram if you listen to the sexual feelings and do something with it. Otherwise its oke
If someone is a religious muslim, believing into the power of imans than they cant be supportive of LGBTQ lifes as it is considered a sin and if you just ignore it you commit a sin as well. It is the core essence of this religion to convince or sometimes force people to behave accordingly and if one is not complying get punished (and sent to allahs judgement). There are more passages that punish it in the hadits so it is up to the iman to interpretate it as he is the only one who usually has the knowledge to interpret the quran nnot influenced by society but just based upon scripts and how to interpretate it according to the old scripts. btw thats not my opinion. I am pro everyone living free and not being punished for things where they are not hurting others. Nevertheless islam is not about free interpretation. If you want to believe in God, you can do that but you cant truly call yourself a true muslim.
There’s no such thing as “being queer” according to the shariah. You can be queer or purple or a moose or whatever you want, no one cares. What is forbidden/sinful according to the shariah is the act of butt sex, including for heterosexual couples. If you want to base your entire identity around what you put up your butt then that’s on you, one could convinceably identify as “queer” and not engage in such acts. In either case don’t pin your subjective identity on islam or God, who do not concern themselves with subjective identities but with outwardly performed actions.

Lut (Lot) is the son of Haran the son of Azar (Terah), and he was the nephew of Ibrahim, peace be upon them both. Lut had believed in Ibrahim and migrated with him to the Sham area. Allah then sent Lut to the people of Sadum (Sodom) and the surrounding villages, to call them to Allah, enjoin righteousness and forbid them from their evil practices, their sin, and wickedness. It this area, they did things that none of the children of Adam or any other creatures ever did before them. They used to have sexual intercourse with males instead of females. This evil practice was not known among the Children of Adam before, nor did it even cross their minds, so they were unfamiliar with it before the people of Sodom invented it, may Allah's curse be on them. `Amr bin Dinar conmented on; مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّن الْعَـلَمِينَ ("...as none preceding you has committed in all of the nations.") "Never before the people of Lut did a male have sex with another male." Lut, peace be upon him, said to them: هَـؤُلآءِ بَنَاتِى إِن كُنْتُمْ فَـعِلِينَ ("these (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so).") 15:71 So he reminded them of their women, and they replied that they do not desire women!, قَالُواْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا لَنَا فِى بَنَاتِكَ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ (They said: "Surely, you know that we have neither any desire nor need of your daughters, and indeed you know well what we want!" ) 11:79 meaning, you know that we have no desire for women and you know what we desire with your guests.

I wonder what's new in his/their story! He/Them is from Pakistan, a refugee. Many a time, people are ready to do anything to get settled as refugees in Western countries. *I don't think he is gay.* He is doing it for his own agenda. His pronouns are; HE and THEM, and it explains all. *Pakistanis, as reports reveal, are bisexuals.* They are partial, however, towards boys while being married to women. He/Them is misrepresenting the information about Islam and its teachings. Islam, if you ask me, is clear-cut about homosexuality. Such souls have no idea of the authentic injunctions of Islam, and this is not their fault as they are not taught by their parents. Well, there is no classification of sexuality in Islam; this came later that you are gay, bisexual, etc. For Islam, every person is the same and will be judged by the actions wrapped in intentions someone does. Queerness and trans identity is scientifically proven to be based in our DNA makeup and Allah does not make mistakes in how he makes us. Humans do make mistakes in how they interpret the word of Allah and I believe the anti-queer rhetoric is just masked bigotry.

I’ve met a queer Muslim woman and I do like her, and since then I’ve been learning more about Islam… I kind of want to be a revert, but I’m scared because I want to still live my truth and love another queer person. Advice please!
You should ask someone who has great knowledge of Islam where you would stand in such a scenario. They can help.

*The Story of Prophet Lut, upon Him be Peace, and His People*
Allah said, "We sent,"
وَ
(And)
لُوطاًإِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ
(Lut, when he said to his people..) Lut (Lot) is the son of Haran the son of Azar (Terah), and he was the nephew of Ibrahim, peace be upon them both. Lut had believed in Ibrahim and migrated with him to the Sham area. Allah then sent Lut to the people of Sadum (Sodom) and the surrounding villages, to call them to Allah, enjoin righteousness and forbid them from their evil practices, their sin, and wickedness. It this area, they did things that none of the children of Adam or any other creatures ever did before them. They used to have sexual intercourse with males instead of females. This evil practice was not known among the Children of Adam before, nor did it even cross their minds, so they were unfamiliar with it before the people of Sodom invented it, may Allah's curse be on them. `Amr bin Dinar conmented on;
مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّن الْعَـلَمِينَ
("...as none preceding you has committed in all of the nations.") "Never before the people of Lut did a male have sex with another male." This is why Lut said to them,
("Do you commit lewdness such as none preceding you has committed in all of the nations Verily, you practice your lusts on men instead of women.") meaning, you left women whom Allah created for you and instead had sex with men Indeed, this behavior is evil and ignorant because you have placed things in their improper places. Lut, peace be upon him, said to them:
هَـؤُلآءِ بَنَاتِى إِن كُنْتُمْ فَـعِلِينَ
("these (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so).") 15:71 So he reminded them of their women, and they replied that they do not desire women!,
قَالُواْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا لَنَا فِى بَنَاتِكَ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ
(They said: "Surely, you know that we have neither any desire nor need of your daughters, and indeed you know well what we want!" ) 11:79 meaning, you know that we have no desire for women and you know what we desire with your guests.

I might be amiss; I am open to other notions.
