For 10 years Bama fans have been haunted by the kick six. The "Gravedigger" has now made that a distant memory. So happy for Coach Saban and this team to finally get retribution in this fashion.

people kind of rolled their eyes when Saban said they practice that situation every Friday. I know, it had a low probability of being pulled off. but it was a cleverly designed play. They knew Auburn was not going to rush Milroe, so he would have all the time he wanted. They send all the receivers to the middle of the end zone and then 2 receivers break out to the corners that leaves them both with one on one coverage ( You can't double them all). Milroe then makes up his mind which one he thinks has the best shot at coming down with it. The Auburn DB made the mistake of turning his back to Milroe and had no idea the ball was on the way until it was too late. It appears the db was concentrating on making sure he did not lose track of the receiver instead of being deep enough to keep his eyes forward so he could make a play on any ball that was thrown up. I imagine coaching staffs all over the country will use this as a teachable moment to their defensive backs.
It’s such a perfect yet obvious play call that I can’t believe it worked. Auburn should have played the old UNC 4-corners but as a defense. They had seven players back in the end zone. Each player should have taken a zone and watched Jalen to see where he was throwing. THANK GOD they didn’t, but…..
They were celebrating early and being cocky early on just to beat a rival team. We chilled and waited. We were celebrating for a chance at the SEC Championship. Roll Tide!
I saw a LOT of high fives going on. But on 4th and 31 things suddenly went silent, like a funeral. Aub will get better, but this isn't a stellar Tide team. We'll get better too.
For the last decade, I have refused to watch the Kick Six one single time. Even when it was happening live, I turned away and didn’t look, like I was passing by a terrible accident on the highway. After last night, I have gone back and watched that play and actually chuckled at it, believe it or not. Demons officially exorcised. Doesn’t bother me one bit anymore. Watching Alabama rip all that out of Auburn’s chest like that as they prematurely celebrated, on the 10-year anniversary, that was satisfaction at its finest. Any attempt by either fanbase to peer back at the Kick Six will be blocked by the mental image of that catch last night. It couldn’t have played out any better.
That I do believe is the Best explanation of how I have felt since the kick six happened it really has exorcised that demon it is truly blocked by the milroe miracle Perfect!!!😮

I heard they were the same crew that called the Bama-Tennessee game last year, and we all know what happened there. That is the greatest compliment! That's always been my goal to keep getting better. What takes the most time with these highlights is getting the radio calls lined up with the play on the field. I really believe! If Alabama beats Georgia there is no way Alabama is left out of playoff’s . There body of work out ways there lost to Texas in second week of 14 week season . The big numbers is Alabama would be only 1 lost team that has undefeated conference championship . No other one lost team can match that .
How did they miss the call on the Burton catch? His foot was in bounds and they went to replay. Also one official called him in during the play! That officiating crew is simply not very good, same officials who screwed over Bama in Knoxville last year by calling a questionable PI on a interception by Bama that would’ve sealed the game. They just aren’t a good crew overall!
@@joshvaden6369Yeah, I was surprised they didn’t review it. Since they kept the clock running and marked the ball at the 1, I knew Bama had the win. I slowed down the video to .25x and still couldn’t see where the ball was or his knee or forearm.

As a FSU fan I have to say that this was more embarrassing for Alabama than Auburn! I mean to watch Auburn get manhandle by a basketball school 6 days earlier then you march in same stadium and just get controlled by Auburn I mean you pretty much lost the game so you can't really compare it to the kick six in 2013 both Alabama and Auburn had Natty in there sights and alot was riding on that game but this year auburn done gave up and already turn to Bruce pearl to heal some of there wounds from a horrible football season and they pretty much won the game how embarrassing for Alabama to need a miracle! He’s been on a rigorous chemotherapy and radiation schedule while still hosting “Hey Coach” and doing game prep for half of the season. He’ll be ok once he’s done with his treatments. Chris Stewart was the exact same way when he was going through his cancer situation. Nobody noticed, though, because nobody was listening to Baja basketball at that time.
@bigeric1030 I hear what you're saying but Chris stewart is also much younger as well. I've listened to Eli a lot this year and he's just not the same and when you actually watch a game and listen at the same time he sounds like Verne. He says things that are completely wrong multiple times a game.
Eli deserves a lot of credit, not only for his contributions to Alabama football over the years, but for continuing to call games even after his health issues this season. Stewart will be a great replacement, but Eli will always be the voice of the Tide for me, and will certainly be missed.

Twice in the game Milroe made critical awareness mistakes. On both he should have just ran the ball would have at least gotten a first down on both and potentially scored on one. So for those who give him all the credit you must also give the criticism deserved. He needs to quit trying to be Bryce young and learn to be Milroe and run the gad damn ball!!!
