    That celebration penalty on Fairley was absolutely ridiculous. Those refs hated the way he played, so they threw flags on him to be douches.

    Just finished watching today's iron bowl. The size difference between those players and the players in this game is startling. This looks like a couple NFL teams.

    Cam Newton is the greatest college QB to ever play the game. He really took a team that at best would have won 7 games, and had them go undefeated, won a national championship, and collected a Heisman along the way. No QB has ever done something like that at the college level that I can think of.

    Cam and Nick Fairley (the with only two Auburn players to play a down in the NFL) took on Alabama with like 16 NFL players including Super Bowl winner James Carpenter (77), Mark Ingram and Julio Jones. Cam didn't just put his team on his back, he put the ENTIRE state of Alabama and his home state of Georgia on his back. This game was CRAZY!!!!!

    I’ve seen a lot of Great Iron Bowl Games over the years but this one was by far the Best! This one was a dogfight and I didn’t think Auburn was going to have a chance when Bama went up 24-0. Then, Nick Fairley & Cam Newton happened. What a Game!

    My father raised me as an Alabama fan in the 2000s, but then, on my first day of Kindergarten in 2010, my bus driver turned me into an Auburn fan. I should also point out that this was, to date, the last time Auburn has beaten Alabama in Tuscaloosa. So I really hope we can beat them in the Iron Bowl later this November, that would be nostalgia on another level.

      2010 was my senior yr of high school. I remember this game & I don't think that anything compares to this. The kick six was sweet, too, but this is on a whole new level. We have a good future with Freeze as head coach. Brighter days are ahead. War Eagle!

      Him joe burrow and Vince Young had the 3 best single seasons for qbs in my lifetime and cam newton had a all senior offensive line and top freshman runningback recruit in dyer which is why our ground game was historic we had above average reciever play Darvin Adam's was our best clearly with Emory Blake being solid enough

Auburn had a “TEAM” chemistry unity love & a passion to compete not only for themselves but each other!     I will argue anyone, that this season from Cam was the greatest single season of college football an individual player has ever played! Think about it. That Auburn team only had two players of note, as far as NFL players. That Alabama team had tons of guys that had, and are still having decent-great NFL careers. Including one of the best receivers of the last 20 years. Cam carried that team when they needed him and of course they had a lot of seniors that played some good football to compliment him, but number 2 was the engine of that team.

    Give Cam Joe Burrows offense when he was at LSU and the numbers are even crazier. Only one other member of that offense was drafted and it was a lineman in the 7th round. Just shows how dominant Cam was.

    The Bama press was playing "take the money and run", the McElroy's were front and center getting showed on the jumbotron every 30 seconds. The second half was a blood bath (or a crimson tide) In the end they had to watch Cam run a victory lap in they stadium while we celebrated in the stands. Epic Saturday!!!

    It’s crazy because it could have easily and probably should have been 35-0 in the second quarter. Ingram fumbled out the back of the end zone and Richardson dropped a walk in TD. Changed the whole game.

    Out of all the undefeated, heisman winning season QBs in the past two decades, Cam Newton was by far one of the most enjoyable to watch on the field.
    This opinion is coming from a hardcore LSU fan too. No matter how much I dislike Auburn, Cam Newton will always have my respect.

    We had many reasons why we drafted Cam Newton as the first overall pick in 2011. But this game was the biggest reason. If you beat Bama in a 1v1 matchup in the SEC or buried them in the National Championship Game, ur considered NFL talent

    I remember that amazing season, as Auburn is my favorite college football team [LSU is Baseball & Rugby]. I love the memories made & crying joyful tears, especially after winning the BCS championship. But I [like many Auburn fans] believe Auburn's 2004 team, who was shut out of the championship game, was better all around & possibly altogether the 00s best SEC team.
