The way they did him and his family was Str8 BS. I've met his Dad before. His Lil Brother played HS Football with my God-Son. Cool Ppl. They also need to give Reggie Bush his Heisman back
I'm with Cam 100%, that NCAA investigation was nonsense. But the question you have to ask isn't why Mississippi State would try to get at him, by saying he took money. The question is, why did they pick a number like $180k? They official story was that his father told Mississippi State "Cam needs between 100-180k to play for your team". 😅I've never heard of anyone demanding money with such a generous wide range... Like a negotiation _with himself._ Weird. Then, even with his father supposedly demanding a wide range of funds necessary for Cam to play, Why was Mississippi State still certain he was coming to play for them, on signing day? Weird. I know whenever someone tells me the price for something, and I say "No thanks. I'm not paying it", I'm not expecting the FedEx Truck to still deliver it the next day...
Cam got ripped off if he did get paid, those hits he took for Auburn took NFL games off his life. 200k ain’t worth those million dollar nfl game checks.
I was NFL bound until them Sebring Lightning bolt boys took out my knees in the Heartland Championship game of the 7th grade Junior high school round of 64 in 1997. Them good ole days as the running back for them Hardee Junior High Wildcats.

Thats a true father there: “I’m willing to take the fall, even though we’re innocent, so my son doesn’t get punished for something he didn’t do.”
Cam, Cam I am glad there is a Club Shay Shay exist!
AND STILL I RISE - LOVE YOU BROTHERS THANK YOU
Much respect Cam! Realness!!!
A lot of people say Cam didn't have help but I never agreed with that take. He didn't have a bunch of young 5-Stars but he had seniors with multiple years of Division 1 development. I think going forward we're going to see more players stay one more year and get developed. Having a nice mix of young and upper-classmen is happening now as we speak.
Yo shoutout to Cam Newton's dad! He raised him right!
Shout out to Cam for big upping his teammates.
These people in the comments that are hating are unbelievable!! Cam was and is him!! Keep being successful so you can mesmerize these miserable bums hate more!!
He's not him stop lying

What hate? All the 49er haters love this guy now
That was a great choice Cam, going to Auburn bless his career,

I’m not surprised by Dan Mullen’s actions, that man has been a SNAKE iykyk!!
And where is he now? 😂😭😂
@@abaker2921 EXACTLY 💀!!
No relation
I was a massive Auburn fan before Cam, and then when he came through it just added another level of fandom. A fan couldn’t ask for a more exciting player and season. It was magical. Forever will root for Cam!!!
This was a great interview 🔥
Man this is so great to hear the backstory from the actual person instead of these reporters who can just say anything
I’m born and raised in Auburn! The Iron bowl is the religion for the day!! Went to Tuscaloosa for that game and haven’t been back. Also, I miss seeing Cam towering around town on a regular. 😊
Thank you for sharing Cam!
Undoubtedly this is one of the best interviews I have ever listened to and watched.
Cam is more interesting than I thought he would be.
Me too
Oh you should’ve been watching his podcast to know he has plenty to say & great stuff too
That was a great season. It’s when I knew the Panthers would have a shot at him coming to Charlotte. One of the best football players alive.
I was waiting since 2011 to hear this explanation.
Thank you club Shay Shay
Do you think Kim did not have an opportunity until now? Or do you think he was waiting for a stage where he wouldn't be questioned for dropping lies?
it happened in 2010 big dawg but ik what u mean
Nothing but love for Cam and his family.
This the best interview on RUclips for people who grew up in that era wit reggie bush... jamarcus russell....tim tebow & cam newton playing on saturdays & remember those sec teams & coaches from 05..09...dont no other interviewer on RUclips make athletes this comfortable like shannon & get the best information & what people wanna hear 💯💯💯
Being fortunate to grow up playing NCAA Football on PS2! U know those years you were picking West Virginia werent u? White and Slaton were raw af in that game
I have to admit, we as son’s live to make our daddy’s proud of us
Depends on the father you get
Lol, no. It depends..
"I watched every Cam Newton post game interview (win or lose) when he was with The Panthers...I really enjoyed his insight to the game especially The Juco angle. I played Junior College as well; can you say Maryland & Florida State "
I have seen the growth in Cam's public speaking. Truly amazing progress, good job, sir!!
Cam spoke highly on his Florida brotherhood, his Auburn teammates whom as he said were the unsung heroes as well as the man "his father" with such admiration and love. Measure of a real man to make sure everyone shines and get their respect and just do that they too earned. Cam a legend!!!
I’m a SC fan and I was at Auburn for that game and Cam single-handedly took over that 4Q and left me in awe!
Cam Newton is a warrior
Is he?
Absolutely
@@dudeseriously57yes
@@dudeseriously57yes wtf is wrong with y’all hating soulless ppl
Cam got ripped off if he did get paid, those hits he took for Auburn took NFL games off his life. 200k ain’t worth those million dollar nfl game checks.
Cam Newton helped Auburn AL, and AUBURN UNIVERSITY more than they helped him. He did what he needed to do. Thank you, Cam.
The Heisman trophy Committee , etc did a disservice to the Newton Family.
I'm waiting on Mullen and his wife to respond 😂😂😂😂😂

I was NFL bound until them Sebring Lightning bolt boys took out my knees in the Heartland Championship game of the 7th grade Junior high school round of 64 in 1997. Them good ole days as the running back for them Hardee Junior High Wildcats.

And the great Al Bundy once scored 4 TDs in a single game at Polk High.
I’m an all pro back myself on Madden😂
@BayouMaccabee that Coach Bundy is one of kind. I still live my life based on his lessons.
If Cam was going into college football today his NIL money would be insaine.
Tim Tebow’s would be quadruple that
Imagine what Boz would've got paid
@@ebry2010😂
This is a great example of turning a negative into a positive and persevering through adversity. As a westlake high school alumni and former Mississippi State student, to actually witness Cam newton’s poise and maturity in the face of hardship at such a young age is more than commendable. I applaud cam and his family for achieving greatness when others wanted them to fail.
Great segment right here!!! Salute!!!!
Still to this day they haven’t found anything on Reggie Bush but took his whole Heisman
Interesting enough, a former sports agent wrote a whole book because Reggie Bush didn't choose him when he went to the NFL.
Bush was guilty
@@QuentonScott-g2o Guilty of what?
The entire USC program needs to give that man and his family a full throated public apology.
@battlescorn Reggie Bush Received funds for his services.
This the best interview yet without messyness
Terry Crews was very good
Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!
Cam has plenty of lies to spread
Cam had everyone in their feels 😩 RTR but respect to this man ‼️
I wish we got another decade of Cam
