College Football Losing Team Announcers Calling Game Winning Plays

  • A compilation of College Football Team announcers calling game winning plays against their own team. These announcers are rooting for the team they are announcing for and are thrilled to see them make a good play, but in these instances, their team was on the losing end of a game winning play. After these plays, the losing team's announcers were heartbroken to say the least. It can be challenging to find the radio calls of these games, so I was limited in what plays I could include. If you have any ideas for future College Football compilation videos let me know in the comments. Enjoy!

Thats when I looked at him and reminded him as the ball was snapped, its not over till its over. As the play unfolded, he looked at me like I spoke it into existence. He walked out the door and went home without saying a word. He got me back though, during the Packers/Seahawks NFC championship game. The Tennessee bomb was right after UGA had scored to go ahead with 6 seconds left. UGA squibbed the kickoff or onside kicked for some reason and something went wrong. One play from scrimmage. I think that was Kirby’s first season? I think we lost 4 that year.

Damn I will never get tired of seeing Chris Davis run that missed field goal back against bama. In one second breaking the hearts of hundreds of thousands of bammers that night, I love it! War Damn Eagle!!

Some of those announcers didn't even try to hide their disappointment, especially the McNeese ones! 😆

The “miracle in Jordan-Hare and the “Kick Six.” Two of the craziest plays in college football history and they happened in back to back games. Auburn really was a “team of destiny” that year. War Damn Eagle!!

Lesson of the video, never doubt Alabama, Clemson, Nebraska, or Auburn; especially in must win situations.

I'll never forget the 2013 Iron Bowl. We were visiting my grandparents for Thanksgiving and we'd been casually watching the game. We missed the ending due to going to see Lights on the Lake. We came back, turned on the news, and saw the ending. Would've been crazy to see live.

It's weird hearing alternate commentary from the ending of Cal vs. Stanford. Anything other than the legendary call of "THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD" feels weird.
