Hi ! This Monstera journey is really interesting. It's been around 6 months and I'm very curious about what has happened to this Monstera ! Any updates please ? Also, you wanted to know which plants we would be interested in, so here are three that I'm thinking of : - Philodendron scandens "Micans" - Philodendron erubescens "Painted Lady" - Syngonium podophyllum "Milk Confetti" Many thanks !
I'm sure there is a protocol out there already as this is a commonly available plant at nurseries nationwide. Good luck with your new media combination!
Yes, if you use correct measurements for everything then it will work. It has been working in my labs at least. So, you need to ensure the purpose for which you want to use it. And, for smaller things, yes you can.
perseverance will make you succeed. One question: what do the bacteria that contaminated your Monstera look like? is what looks brown? or are they like white dots?
Can you use Flagyl in TC? I know you could use Nystatin. If I can't kill off a fungal contamination on a Nepenthes I have in culture I am going to try one of them. I have treated with hydrogen peroxide and ppm twice.

These are some wonderful suggestions!
Currently, things have been really hectic on our side. But, soon we will bring the video on updates.

thank you!
Are you sure no re-sterilisation on the plant although you use 2ml/l ppm ?
Hi!. i did not know it was possible to use microwave instead of Autoclave sterilizer, at least for small things. Does it really works? thank you

Thanks for the motivation. About how the contamination looked, I'll check with Francisco and come back to you. Thanks!
It was white bacteria.

Hola, podrías hacer un cultivo in vitro del helecho asplenium?
How can we sterilize aquatic or other sensitive plants like moss or fern for tissue culture
Hey just wondering what kind of cups you use for tissue culture. Anything in particular?
You can check them out here!
