    thank you but you use big explant it seems shooted. can we use smaller explant that you used. please show us if other alternative method of preparation of explant.

    Thanks for the video. Please make a video for media preparation for aloe vera and the composition of the media. Also sterilization, composition and media preparation of pothos, aglaonema and hoya compacta.

      I'm currently using normal MS media, I'll move the plants to a more specialized media soon. I do have the other plants on my list already!

      I have another question regarding the sterilization process. My explants (pothos, hoya compacta) are turning black (looks dead) after following the sterilization process(1hr dish soap+1 hr 1% bleach + 5 min 3% H2o2). Any suggestion?

    Can you try with cactus plant such as trichocereus pachanoi, harisia jusberti and astrophytum.

    What is the concentration of vinegar used? I need to find a product similar to this one, as this brand is not found in my country.

      1% volume of cleaning vinegar is used in the video.

      Cleaning vinegar is 6% acetic acid and food grade vinegar is 5%. that does not seen like a lot, but that is 20x stronger!

    I have a question can I use a flowering cannabis plant 5 weeks into flowering as an explant ?

      Yes, it's possible, but it's not ideal. I would let it flower, then cut the plant back, and increase the photoperiod to +18 hours per day. That way it will grow back in vegetative form.

    I saw you are using 1 % bleach.
    Is 1 % bleach better than 10% bleach for delicate plant like this?

      Yes, I use a mild solution for longer time. Won't say it is better, but if it get contaminated, you have a second chance to resterilize the explant.

      I do, but it uses a very nasty chemical. It’s quite dangerous, so I won’t share a protocol until I found something safer.

      MS media with 25 g of sucrose, 1 ml/l BA, 0.1 ml/l NAA, 1 ml/l PPM, and 3 g of Gallan gum.
