- Cleaning a toilet is generally pretty easy, but for built up stubborn stains/mineral deposits, pumice is your friend. Probably the most exciting video ever where I clean a toilet...maybe the only video ever.

Got some of the same pumice stone and thought they would last forever. These, however, are much softer than some white stone I had. Did get the ring out if I chopped downward.
You are the MAN!
I got pumice on a stick from amazon. Lol it worked just as well without the gag reflex.
Pumice on a stick is a brilliant idea!
Good video
How do you remove the accumulated pumice “sand” that sets in the toilet tank after multiple cleanings? I have been using pumice stones for years due to stains from sitting well water (even though I have a whole house water filter system), and have yet to figure out a good way to remove the sediment. Thanks in advance for any recommendations! Jill
If you can get the hose to the sediment, a 'shop-vac' type vacuum which is rated for water and debris may work.
Is there a problem with pumice sand? I had a toilet with a mound of rust sediment in it and it worked fine.
I did this today and toilet is like new!!!! And to think I was going to replace it next week!!!
Saving time and money with a simple fix feels great!
The brand Pumie is like what he used. Except it's on a plastic handle.
Pumice sticks, and they do have them on a stick, don't work at all. They just break apart and clean nothing.
OK, DON'T SCRATCH PORCELAIN!
(Just Like the Dentist will seal your teeth's "Enamel" after a cleaning) The Gloss and Glaze are completely gone and your basically sanding clean the sealed porcelain. (My tub and toilet are from 1976) The Luster won't come back, But the stains will shortly after cleaning. unfortunately you and I need new porcelain.😧
you are right
Instructodad, you must have been in the military or a government employee at some time. You can turn a 30 second instruction video into a 4 minute instruction video with 90% unneccessary blathering to fill in space. The military can jam pack 4 hours of training into a week long seminar and by the time the class you forget what it was all about.
