    I’m not sure which was better - The delightful onboard services, or the screaming kid. Thanks for taking one for the team! 😵‍💫

    Denver is such a unique approach. Nowhere else can you fly over part of the airport, spend another 60+ seconds airborne, then land at said airport.

    Wait you scored another runway 25 landing @ Denver??? SMH lucky.
    Well i got a tour of the control tower and ATC facility along with their simulators at KLAS during FSExpo! You're not the only lucky one 😁!

      @sla31 still lucky that is a very rare approach and even rarer runway to land on. They'll usually put you down on 26 when going that direction since most of the departures will use 25.

    I was watching the movie Twister, and now, I'm watching your video. Note that this movie took place in OK. Interesting how the huge pieces of debris would fall right in front of Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton on the highway like that.
    Anyhow, very good view of downtown Tulsa. I think I saw the Pioneer Woman's Ranch!!
    If you wondered, yes, we've have had actual tornadoes touch down in the Seattle area, albeit they're rare occurrences and they're F0. In Sept, 1962, a tornado went thru Wedgewood and View Ridge and damaged a few houses along the way. In December 2001, a tornado hit West Seattle. In 2013, a tornado hit Frederickton.
    When I see the Denver airport, I think of the episode of The Incredible Hulk where Banner has to land a 747 in DEN and then, his hulk persona takes over and pulls the yoke back and stops the plane. He had to reverse the gates.
    Anyhow, another Super-Awesome video on your part, or as Treebeard put it "a fine hit".

    I just flew from Denver to Atlanta on UA1305 Reg N808UA I was in 7f and my seats outlets didn’t seem to work at all. Idk if I was doing something wrong but didn’t seem to work for any of us.
    Which was unfortunate wanted to use my phone to record most of the flight but didn’t have much battery

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Месяц назад

      This is why I never rely on the power outlets onboard. I travel with two 20,000 mAh batteries to use for this.

    why is Tulsa airport gates empty no planes??

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Месяц назад

      Just the time of day. Pretty much every gate and remote stand is occupied in the morning and then all the flights leave. This is one of the last ones to leave before all the first batch of arrivals start to come in.

  • @theresacaron4238

    Pretty quiet airport, not too much activity going on, maybe it's the time of year.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Месяц назад +1

      It’s usually busier. You should’ve seen the security lines the other day that they were posting on their social media now that summer is here. People were waiting hours. This flight was during the post holiday, pre-spring break time of year, which is always slow throughout the whole country.

    De-icing aircraft in July?.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Месяц назад

      The flight was in January, I just hadn't posted it until now. I have to fly a lot to have 365 uploads per year, so inevitably some get pushed back awhile after I film them so I can have a good backlog and don't run out of footage if I have to cancel a trip or something doesn't work out later in the year.

    Great fly! Have you heard Boeing agreed to buy major supplier, Spirit AeroSystems, with valued at $4.7 billion in stock or $8.3 billion including Spirit’s debt? What do you think?

    22 years airplane airliner. The A319 is the smaller variant. 🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🛬🛫✈️✈️🧑‍✈️💺💺😊😀☺️😁🤩💯⭐😇

    • @GarlandTexasSpotter2024
      @GarlandTexasSpotter2024 Месяц назад +2

      A318 Actually. Most people think A319 is the smallest variant, but there’s actually an even smaller variant, commonly known as the “Baby Bus” which is The Airbus A318. It’s extremely rare to see that plane nowadays. Only Air france and Tarom operate the A318 and only 12 are left in the world. Tarom is replacing them with the 737 MAX 8, Air France is replacing them with the Airbus A220.
