WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!! Super-Fantabulous views!!!!! Great views of Ketchikan and the cruise ships. Good views of the Coast Mountains. Good view of Fidalgo Island and Burrows Island. Good view of Ault Field. There's Deception Pass... Oak Harbor... Penn Cove... Coupeville (the driest spot on Whidbey Island)... Keystone... Camano Island... Greenbank... Holmes Harbor... Freeland (shipbuilding)... Mutiny Bay... Useless Bay.... Clinton... Paine Field... Edmonds... Point Wells.... whoa, there's my house!! Good view of Hwy 99.... Northgate... Green Lake... Downtown Seattle... Boeing Field... good views of Tacoma. 30 years ago, the Hilltop area was a hotbed of serious crimes, shootings and killings, but the people got together and took back their neighborhood, forced the bad elements out and made their part of town a much safer place. Anyhow, we're having the lowest tide of the year tomorrow, a -3.4 at 11:15 AM. BE THERE!! And if you ever find yourself on Arrakis, remember to respect the sand worms!!
Just sailed through there yesterday. Walked through Creek St and up to City Park, nice shops, easy enough to elude the crowds etc. Favorite: Skagway and Glacier Bay cruise/thru. Safe Travels my friend, nice to see SO many uploads.. enjoy your explorations!
I include shots of the cities whenever I can. Most of the time though, I don't have time to leave the airports and film around the cities. And that's not including all the additional cost associated with leaving the airports and running all over the place haha.
Sticker, Sneaks, Comfy Jeans, let's rock and roll, Traveler !!! It's late in the Alaska Cruise Season, some of the last ships up there in September and early October. When we were kids we had these "Invisible Ink" booklets we used to have for flights, and the standard Airline Deck of Cards from the flight crew AND the little plastic Wings we would get from them as well. Ah, Seattle. Clear Blue Sky, Puffy Clouds, lots of green trees on the ground. 2 bells rang, on the descent now. Banking Right, three quarter pirouette Left Wing, completing the Pirouette, "Jake, Call the Ball, Jake has the Ball." Coming in Hot !! Touchdown, the crowd goes wild. (Jake flew that plane from 1:25:14 to 1:36:00 touchdown with the gear down !!) I had to go back and listen for the drop sound.
All the times you have landed in Seattle, this is the first time I can remember that you landed on 34L instead of the usual 16R. Superb job in the Ketchikan intro...actually scrolled back to the beginning and watched that a second time. What a neat town.
The 34s are technically our reverse ops runways. When it’s cloudy or crappy outside you can usually expect the 16s (it’s usually crappy here in Seattle so it makes the 16s our primary runways) but on days where its nice outside it tends to shift to the 34s
No really. Not anymore at least. There was a time when I did all the time. Back when they weren't so busy. Of course, I still have credit cards that have lounge access, but frankly the lounges are always just as busy as the terminals now, or they have lines to get in. I try to fit as many flights in each trip as possible now, so I rarely ever use any lounge anymore.
Hello Sam, I haven't seen you for ages how are you? I went to Melbourne Airport on Sunday morning til afternoon. We saw the last departure of QF7528 VH-EFR from Melbourne to Brisbane yesterday afternoon. Maria
Did you mean for this to be a reply to someone else and not a stand alone comment? I ask because I don't know a Sam, and since this was left a a new stand alone comment, if you were trying to take to someone named Sam, there aren't going to get a notification that someone replied to them.

First! Thanks once more Skylite.

Honestly the thumbnail almost looks like you departing Honolulu. The lush green mountain and the water adds up!
I loved the exploring around the beautiful Ketchikan area before the flight to SeaTac😊. Incredible view of Whidbey Island 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it! I wish I could do more pre-flight stuff like that, but I don't usually have time, or the extra $$$ to do that haha.

I wish I could showcase more cities like I did here. Unfortunately though, I don't usually have time or the extra $$$ to do that haha.

Great fly! Do you ever go to airport lounge while waiting?

"alaskan smoked sea salt
In classic dark chocolate"
What was it like?
It's good. It's basically just like any other dark chocolate, it just has a bit of a smokey taste.
