    The flight between SEA and DFW is one of the most scenic in the 48 states.

      I don’t show more of the boarding as it’s against airline rules to show passengers, especially their faces. So I do my best to follow those rules and not show passengers. It’s very difficult to do that during the boarding process.

      I'm not sure which mountains those are specifically, but given then amount of time we'd been in the air, it could've been Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, or even Mt. Saint Helens. All of which are considered to be active volcanos, so I'd say yes. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Great fly! Earlier when I ask your computer spec for editing video, you said you use Intel Core CPU on your computer. Have you ever use AMD Ryzen CPU on your computer in the past? They contain more cores and better performance.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      Nope. I have used Apple products since I was in college, which was before I started this channel. So, every computer I have ever used for the channel has been Intel powered. That will change though, once I buy a new computer. Whenever that may be. Since Apple is currently in the process of ditching Intel for their own proprietary CPU’s.

      Also, you asked where I live, but that comment seems to be gone now. I live in the great state of Kansas. American has also said that the legacy American aircraft that have them, won’t have them for much longer. I agree with you, I think it’s a bad move for them. When Delta has no intention of going away from it, United is trying to position themselves closer to Delta, and even low-cost carriers like JetBlue have better offerings than them…. I think they’ll regret this move in the long run.

    Have you ever considered tilting the camera down, maybe a small portion of the horizon but mostly ground?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад

      No, I haven't. And the reason is because this is always, first and foremost, and aviation channel. So the wing is always the primary focus. Tilting the camera down any farther would start to cut out the winglet and parts of the wing. I try to the best I can to feature the views as best as possible, but ultimately the aviation aspect is my channel's focus. If less airlines used winglets, it's be easier haha.

    Skylite are you not allowed to film the crew ?
    They do a wonderful job

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      Technically no. It’s a gray area haha. Each airline has different rules but basically you’re not unless you have permission from each crew member. And frankly, I don’t really have time to go around to each flight attendant on every flight and ask them haha. I say it’s a gray area because most airlines have rules that say passengers aren’t allowed to film crew without their permission, but airlines also operate in public places, where it is legal to film people. Either way, I don’t want to have any issues with the airlines so I do my best to abide by their rules.

    How does the A321S differ from the A321 or A321Neo?....

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      The A321 is the standard, original A321-200 with wingtip fences. The A321S is the later updated version with full winglets instead of eve small wingtip fences. The A321neo or A321N is the new variant of the A321. Neo stands for “new engine option.” The A321N is now the only A321 variant still in production. The last A321S was delivered to Delta Air Lines yesterday.

    There seems to be an abnormal buzzing noise coming from this flight.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      That would be a normal noise. It’s present on most modern jet engines. It’s only audible though, if you’re sitting in front of the engines fan blades. That buzzsaw sound is actually thousands of small sonic booms. They’re created by the tips of the fan blades traveling faster than the speed of sound. It dissipates as you climb because less power is required at that point, meaning the fan blades are no longer traveling faster than sound.
