Thanks from the UK, after 30 years riding various sports bikes a 2015 Moto Guzzi California, 2006 Harley Electra Glide Ultra, I’ve just bought my first Wing , a 1994 1500SE, and I am most impressed with it. The weight is intimidating at first, but the low seat height and low centre of gravity brings confidence at slow speed and parking. The ride is so silky smooth, and handling, cornering and grip, are inspiring. Honda did a great job when they built this. Thank you for the great video and for your information, it all helps to make ownership so much easier. I have subscribed and will look forward to watching more of your channel whilst the missus is watching her stuff on TV 😂 . Paul ( Beachboy46)

Nice work. Those cornering lights are a piece of cake compared to the dash removal! I had a seized speedometer shaft in 2016 that snapped my cable and I had to work it free and clean it up well to make it work again, so I know the pain you experienced! While I was there, I did as you did with new lights, speakers and a windshield! I wish I had known that you were doing it. I would've been happy to help!

My dad has a 2016 Harley Ultra and a 98 GL1500 Goldwing. Aside from the Harley having Bluetooth and navigation, the Honda is better at absolutely everything. The effort is definitely worth it and fortunately there's rarely any maintenance beyond a basic oil change.
If you haven't rode one, you should.

Thanks for being the only video that covered the clips retaining the dash panel around the vents. I was able to easily release them once the signal lights were out just by reaching in and pressing on the clips with my finger.
It was for a customer that wanted 4 new 4" Alpines in his Aspencade. The only thing I was disappointed with was the total output from the radio. But hey it is 30 years old and still sounds fine so cannot really complain.
Thanks again for being thorough in the tear down, might have to find me a Goldwing soon 👍

Yes it is simple to get them out, they literally just wiggle out and you push in the new ones.
Before you put the cluster back in, remember to turn the power on to the bike to make sure all the lights come on.

People don't understand that speakers with larger drivers require more power for the same sound output of the stock speakers because it takes more energy to push away from a bigger magnet.

Wow! Simply wow! So much to do to simply access the speakers. What was Honda thinking?
One of my 1989 GL1500 Wing speakers is not reliable. Works at times. Not so other times. Also, my neutral light hasn’t worked for (too many) years. I’m always “fishing around” to find neutral.
After viewing this video, I need one of 2 things. Either 1. you drop by for a few hours and get paid handsomely ;-) (Heath is welcome too) or 2. I take my baby to the nearest Honda dealership and let them tackle it.
