My dad never made over $100K in his whole life. But he is a great father, a generous provider, and one of the smartest people I know. I couldn't have asked for a better dad. The fact that men like him are completely overlooked by most women today is truly sad.
Kudos! I was very lucky as well. My dad was a steelworker. He could have gone to college, but he didn't want to. He was EXTREMELY well read- he got me and my brother into reading because we wanted to be like him. Man, could could he dress! He got me into jazz and big band music- one reason I started playing guitar. He was the perfect role model-gentleman, classy, charming, treated my mom great, tough when he had to be but always full of love. I sincerely wish everyone could have a dad like mine. I was very blessed.

It also helped that our 15 acre farm and home was already paid off when I was still a toddler. His income would probably be equivalent to 50 or 60 K in today's money. Because our land and home were paid off, and we produced at least 50% of our own food on the farm, my Dad had lots of disposable income. Not bad for a guy with only an 8th grade education. My Dad wasn't much for reading, unlike your Dad. The only reading he really did was hunting or fishing magazines. I developed a love for reading on my own. He loved listening to Waylon Jennings and The Ventures, and played the guitar fairly well. I can't say that my Dad was classy or charming as he was too much of a "country boy" and had lots of backwoods ways, but nobody is perfect. I think I was pretty lucky to have him for a Dad, even with his imperfections. Who else would have taught me to fish and milk a cow, after all ?
When my wife met me nine years ago, she was 21 and I was 26. I was making $25,000 a year, drowning in debt, driving a shit-box, and struggling to cover rent. None of that mattered to her. She didn't care about designer bags or a lavish lifestyle, she knew she had found a good man and continued to encourage me every step of the way. i'm 5'10, 36 y/o and make about 6 figures after bonuses. I dont advertise the latter. Let that be a bonus to the girl who is more interested in the person then the dollar sign. Location also matters. 100k in NYC isnt 100k where I live, it goes much farther in more rural areas. As a point of reference as of next month I own my townhouse outright, no mortgage.
Courtney I’d love to see a video like this where the girls give their answers and expectations and then you reveal who they are actually dating/have dated and see where they are in reality. It’s easy to say things but it’s potentially more interesting to see how much of their standards they actually apply to their real life.
I like Courtney I do & as jumping off point for young guys just getting into dating she's very accessible but let's be honest she never deals with the issues head on or in any meaningful detail so she'll never do something so in depth. Remember a couple years ago when she reacted to Alexander Grace's video about his female friend that posed as him on tinder & was shocked at what men go through. She said herself she was going to do a similar experiment to make a video & as far as I know she still hasn't done it. She likes to stay accessible at the surface. Also creators that get into it more are often ratioed & suppressed which effects monetization. Can't blame her for that tbh but it also shows her weakness in manosphere which she openly admits to being a part of. She likes being an access point which is fine, I think she's a much better access point than say someone like "alpha male" 🤮 pickup artist conmen.
These women are entitled. They'll say something like "money doesn't matter too much", "He has to be taller than me", then they say, "I'll take someone short who makes a million any day". None of them understand they are not the prize, the man is.

I dated my grammar school/highschool sweetheart in my 20s and it was rough. We were both broke college students still living with our parents. She claims she came from a family where the men paid for everything with no question and if they couldn't, you kind of got shit for it. We ended up doing a long distance relationship where she moved to Cali and I stayed in Illinois. I remember paying for tickets to go see her then once I arrived, I was expected to pay for everything. She stayed in a closet-like apartment with no kitchen so when we ordered food, I got it. We went to an event to hang out, I got that too. Gotta take a bus to get to places, she had a student pass, I have to pay for that as well. I remember her even asking to pay her cellphone because she was going through rough times so I helped her out. Like I said, long time sweethearts but both broke college students...but I loved her and my own pride always got the best of me. Telling her no or that I didn't have the money always made me feel like less of a man. She comes back home, we both have cars but I'm expected to always pick her up. Does she offer gas money, no. We go out to eat, does she offer to get the bill? Very (and I mean VERY) rarely. We didn't live together because neither of us could afford to rent at the time. Her family was constantly asking me when I'm going to marry her and I'd always say, "I refuse to marry this girl and bring her back to her mom's house." I'm not sure how the hell I was able to even do a lot of the things I did in my 20s but I can tell you that anyone going through college and just working a job just to put money in their pocket isn't going to be making 100k any time soon. I'm 34 now and I'm just barely making 60k and I have no shame in that. I've worked hard and I'm still working towards bettering myself. We ended up breaking up when I was 28 due to "differences" in life paths. And that's when my career started gaining traction. Funny thing is right around that time she decided to move to Japan to teach english because she was having trouble finding work in her field. She tried to get me to as well and get a "Husband Visa" which also required us to be married but I'd be soley dependant on her while we were there. I told her no and that's when she decided to call it quits which I was fine with. I haven't spoken to her in years and I don't regret our experiences. In fact a lot of them shaped me and have helped me realize what I'd like in a partner. Maybe it's the same for her. But if any guys out there do read this and you're in a similar position or dating, don't let anyone make you feel like you're not shit for being in a position that these woman are looking for. It's extremely unrealistic. As long as you're working on yourself and trying to become the best that you can be, that's commendable. It won't come overnight but you'll get there.

This. This right here is what it's all about. That's awesome man. I went through the same type of journey of putting up with a lot of shit from my first girlfriend because I didn't want to be single or thought less of a man if I didn't comply. Once you break free from the spell, and realize that loving yourself is far more important than being in a relationship just to not be alone, you are truly free. Then you start building your life up, like you did when got traction in your career, and you start reaping the benefits. To the point where dating becomes simpler for you, sure it's harder to find a quality woman once you regain self-worth, and it also makes it much easier at the same time because you know what you want for yourself and in a partner.
I dated a girl who worked for 3 years of her whole life at a job. As an entitled house wife that was her entire working career. So, whenever I had a bad day at work she would say how easy my job was and if she were doing it that she'd be so loved and appreciated that she would get raises and promotions. Welp... the day came where for whatever reason she "tried" to work. Lasted a whole 3 days. It was a cushy indoor white collar small accounting business too. I came to pick her up after her 2nd day and she was instantly saying how bitchy all of her coworkers were. She was annoyed to be told what to do. 3 days later I picked her up and she said..."hey you know what I discovered about myself? I don't want to work. It's not for me." LMAO!!! I'm like...nobody wants to work. For most it's not a choice. It's called being an adult with financial responsibilities. Absolutely no respect or appreciation. All she saw was the paycheck. Not what you have to do for it. The getting out of bed every morning when you least feel like it. Having to bend the knee to a superior and following rules you don't agree with. The fact that someone is going to pay you... IDK 20 bucks an hour (which is 40K a year) that means that you better be producing 100 bucks an hour for your employer. You have to earn your salt. You don't just get 100K for showing up in a suit and sitting at a desk. Of course from a woman's perspective they literally get paid 6 figures for just sitting there and looking pretty on O.F. what'd you expect from females these days? Absolutely warped state of minds. Honey, until you've ever made 100K yourself (excluding major city living and sex work) then you have no right to expect that from your dating pool of men. As well, a women in thier 20's are at the top of their financial game since most get paid based on their looks. This is peak opprotunity season for women. Guys don't peak until our 40's. No offense Courtney and I hope you read this and maybe get back to the girls in the video with a few pointers which some of the guys raised here (especially about money, cars and related things). 1. All of their expectations about the man's salary are blown way out of proportion. Making 100 000 dollars a year at 25? Are you for real? That is impossible for an average man especially at that age. It seems to me that the salary is a non-negotiable thing for every single one of them. They might date a guy with less money, but will quickly dump him if he doesn't provide enough ... "comfort". I may be wrong, but that is what it sounds like to me. Some men might get depressed hearing this, because they know, no matter what they do, they will not be able to make that much money. Numbers are unforgiving in this matter. 2. Not once have I heard from any of them, what THEY bring to the table regarding the money. Some did say they want to make a certain amount, but the way they said it, it was obviously meant "for them" not for the family. Again, it seems to me like the money that the man made would be considered "family money" (as in their money) and the money they made would be considered again only "their money". Does that seem fair? 3. Every single one of them basically expects the man to provide for them and support them. Not once did I hear a notion of them providing for or supporting the man (money wise). It's obvious they would not stay with a man they would have to financially support. On the other hand, we (men) expect to provide for and support the woman, at least I do, I have no problem with that, but it's kind of depressing that the "other side" is unwilling to do so. 4. Nowadays everybody says how there is an inequality between men and women and how women have it hard and how they are equal to men. That is only until it suits them. Women want the best out of both genders. They want the money men make, they want to do the same things men do, but they also want to be provided for, they want the man to pay for dates, pay the bills, let them first through the door etc. etc. However I don't think that's possible. You can't have it all. You can't be a tender woman when it suits you and then a tough man when that suits you. 5. Last but not least. I don't think women appreciate how men have it hard. That is because we don't complain, but trust me, it's not easy either. PS: After what the girls said, I would not want to date or start a life with either of them. Not worth it.
what I wish women understood is that when you earn that wage, it means someone else is not. you cannot simultaneously be for ending the wage gap and expected men to earn income at your level or higher. they are just contradictory and gains in one area will make the pool smaller in the other.

It depends on the job and the discipline he has for the job, and passion for the job 4. the salary expectations are just wrong 5. hobbies align with compatibility, interest, passions 6. education depends on what you learned in school and if you respect education as a of self direction 7. style depends on the situation or occasion that your in. 8. confidence is sometimes pretending but confidence is something that you know what you can do 9. his place depends on where he lives, does he like too keep things organized, cleaning certain places in his house 10. its size depends on a certain type of woman, communication of sex is key because you need to know what your into and consent, positions, sexual rhythm, pacing, forplay, and the attractive bond you have between the two. Courtney you need other ethinicities of women like european, indian, asian, latina, middle eastern, black(american, carribean, african, aborigine), Native America(north and South) to get different perspectives from multiple women because this was not enough to explore what most things matter for women, maybe your friends but not most women.
Women are out here getting their own money, having careers, and making their own moves these days. Based on what I've seen and experienced, women are not necessarily looking for men to provide these things anymore. They are self sufficient. I think the way a guy looks (is he tall and handsome) is the bigger currency in this day and age. Just my thoughts.

I find these videos illuminating and fun, and I don't take the responses too seriously. I do find find it interesting that a couple of the women responded that they want a guy in his 20s to be making upwards of $100,000. That's not common. Good luck with that! Mostly will be tech bros, finance bros, bros fresh out of law school, or bros working in consulting. But they're all working crazy ass hours too because they're new to their careers and are being run to the ground.
Not entirely true on "crazy ass hours". Outside of investment banking (and private equity/hedge funds, but these subsectors typically don't directly recruit undergrads or grads), most finance positions work less than 60/week. Standard work-life balance in asset management 40-50, same in corporate development, if you're a business/credit/finance analyst at a F500 company or a bank, you likely don't even work 50. For context, these people clear 6-figures after 3 years with almost 100% certainty, at least the mid-tier roles do, some back office ones won't. BUT - this doesn't mean that the girls in this video are in any position to be requesting a 2% earner. I'm not going to comment on their looks, but are any of these girls top 2% for anything?

my parents combined don't make 100k. I had everything I needed as a kid, I went to school (I'm in Europe, so it's free, but still it's rent in the city, transport to school, all the books etc.), currently getting a phd, we have a 3-story house, all the bills were paid, I had good quality clothes, we went skiing, we went on vacations, when I wanted a guitar I could save up and buy one, when I wanted a hobby, we could afford it, when I wanted a game I could buy it, everyone has their own car, we went out to eat quite often, materialistically there's 0 I can complain about in my childhood. And this is with a COMBINED income of quite a bit under 100k. I didn't even have to work to contribute to this, if I worked a summer job it was just my own money. Expecting 6 figures in your 20s is not only insane for possibility reasons, it's insane because you don't even remotely need that much money. What kind of luxury do these women want?
Job titles matter. I told girls in the past, I drive for a living. They didn't even give me a second look. They didn't let me finish. I own the company that does deliveries etc... I make over 6 figures LOL. Same thing is when they ask me about where do I live etc.. I tell them I live with my parents which is true. They won't give me a second look after that LOL. I own many homes LOL. Its a culture thing. I won't move out to my own house unless married etc... Besides I'm cheap when it comes to spending money. Why live on my own, where I can get free food and room? I drive a old beat up honda. That still works! I'm asian. Also college drop out. Once I tell girls that, their faces just change. I drop out to create my own company etc... Funny thing is none of these girls ask me directly how much I made. They beat around the bush instead of asking directly. They always strike out. Long story he would wire all his junk on my side of the yard etc.. Not a great neighbor but a rich douche, who would do stupid stuff cause the "landlord" isn't there.. I always told my tenants not to let him in. When he ask me. I always said sorry landlord says no, if really dumb stuff. He looks at me embarrassed as hell. He never talk to me ever again LOL. He actually sold his place after this.

I know that people in general tend to answer these type of questions by saying things that they are expected to say or by saying things that make them look good. Sometimes people are saying things that they just think are true but as we know attraction/feelings often go against logic. Usually it is extremally hard to check where the truth is. I always keep it in mind when watching these videos or when reading AskWomen subreddit for example. The salary question helped to slightly expose what really stands behind those answers. It makes me and apparently many other viewers question all what was said in this and other similar videos. I still think that this format is interesting and useful. Thank you for your work, Courtney. If you are an "Early to Mid-twenty" years old man that is already making 6 figures a year, it means that by the time you are 30- the age that most men get married you are a bloody millionaire. if you are a millionaire by the age of 30, in this superficial and shallow day and age, then YOU DO NOT wait for no woman to "pick you" you are the one that is doing all the picking, so this entire video, although it's nice and some of the ladies are quite lovely, is just ridiculed, its basically like football fantasy league it's just pointless, and for most of them it is just not going to happen.
I appreciate this video. It gives a lot of insight. Something really stuck out to me. The salary question and answers most of all. Most of the women I know have given very similar responses. Later on they are asked about the men's confidence and how it is unattractive not to be confident. It can hit a man hard and plays a huge role in their confidence knowing they cannot live up to this expectation by amazing women. The average salary in the US is 58k. Okay, what is the deal with everyone in the comments saying its unrealistic to make over 100k a year in your 20s as a guy? I work for a financial advising firm and just turned 24, and all of my coworkers are around the same age as I am (besides the vice presidents and execs,) and I don't think a single one of them makes less than 100k a year. Some are already making 200-300k in their late 20s. It really is not that unrealistic I feel. I feel like as long as someone is driven and ambitious, it is absolutely possible to make that kind of money. BTW money is really not everything to most girls, case in point, I have never had a serious girlfriend.
I'm a nurse(departments range from pediatrics to geriatrics to womens health to urgent care and ER), fit physique (people in the gym acknowledges my presence), and learning to get into IT. 34 and have great family and friends behind me. Also learning how to cook. Social skills are great, funny, and confident (though i am still learning how to properly approach women & dress myself). I read/audibles daily, hobbies (sporadic) like snowboarding, atheletic enough to learn other things, video games, dancing, singing, etc. I babysit and are great with kids and geriatrics. One of the greatest challenge right now is making 6 figures and more AND finding and meeting women like these "high value women".....wait you dont like my video games(or preffered hobbies?) Hm?....

As a 5’ 11” guy that makes six figures, this video was very depressing. I had to BUST MY ASS to get where I am today and I only just started making that money at age 29. Had to go back to school, work two jobs in customer service and live at home to save money and GRIND for the majority of my 20s. I’m 31 now and I can tell you I would never want to date someone that shares the mentality these women shared with regards to salary. Chase excellence kings, not women.

I’m not trying to be offensive here, I’m just being completely honest. And Courtney, if you’re reading this comment, please consider what I’m saying. To me, every single one of these girls in this video are beautiful and seem very high quality in my opinion UNTIL they got asked the money questions. I've worked hard at maintaining a really good score myself so I personally find it important to know if they have a good or bad one. It tells me a lot about how responsible the older women are in the later stages of life.

I’m so glad you called them on the salary statistics. It took me a long time to climb above 6 figures and I’ve been on dates where I was told “oh you have an average salary”. Yes, it was hard work, but it was also a lot of luck. Most people will not cross that threshold. Social media has skewed perception so bad on certain things it’s ridiculous. Outliers represent the bell curve online when in reality they are just that outliers. If you are expecting results 2-3 standard deviations out I’ve got some seriously bad news for you…it’s almost guaranteed not to happen.

My dad never made over $100K in his whole life. But he is a great father, a generous provider, and one of the smartest people I know. I couldn't have asked for a better dad. The fact that men like him are completely overlooked by most women today is truly sad.
Kudos! I was very lucky as well. My dad was a steelworker. He could have gone to college, but he didn't want to. He was EXTREMELY well read- he got me and my brother into reading because we wanted to be like him. Man, could could he dress! He got me into jazz and big band music- one reason I started playing guitar. He was the perfect role model-gentleman, classy, charming, treated my mom great, tough when he had to be but always full of love. I sincerely wish everyone could have a dad like mine. I was very blessed.

It also helped that our 15 acre farm and home was already paid off when I was still a toddler. His income would probably be equivalent to 50 or 60 K in today's money. Because our land and home were paid off, and we produced at least 50% of our own food on the farm, my Dad had lots of disposable income. Not bad for a guy with only an 8th grade education. My Dad wasn't much for reading, unlike your Dad. The only reading he really did was hunting or fishing magazines. I developed a love for reading on my own. He loved listening to Waylon Jennings and The Ventures, and played the guitar fairly well. I can't say that my Dad was classy or charming as he was too much of a "country boy" and had lots of backwoods ways, but nobody is perfect. I think I was pretty lucky to have him for a Dad, even with his imperfections. Who else would have taught me to fish and milk a cow, after all ?
When my wife met me nine years ago, she was 21 and I was 26. I was making $25,000 a year, drowning in debt, driving a shit-box, and struggling to cover rent. None of that mattered to her. She didn't care about designer bags or a lavish lifestyle, she knew she had found a good man and continued to encourage me every step of the way. It took five years of struggling before our financial situation started to improve. Fast forward to today, she has a husband that owns his own company and makes $300-400K per year. She has the keys to the castle and can have anything she wants, because she earned it.

I dated my grammar school/highschool sweetheart in my 20s and it was rough. We were both broke college students still living with our parents. She claims she came from a family where the men paid for everything with no question and if they couldn't, you kind of got shit for it. We ended up doing a long distance relationship where she moved to Cali and I stayed in Illinois. I remember paying for tickets to go see her then once I arrived, I was expected to pay for everything. She stayed in a closet-like apartment with no kitchen so when we ordered food, I got it. We went to an event to hang out, I got that too. Gotta take a bus to get to places, she had a student pass, I have to pay for that as well. I remember her even asking to pay her cellphone because she was going through rough times so I helped her out. Like I said, long time sweethearts but both broke college students...but I loved her and my own pride always got the best of me. Telling her no or that I didn't have the money always made me feel like less of a man.
She comes back home, we both have cars but I'm expected to always pick her up. Does she offer gas money, no. We go out to eat, does she offer to get the bill? Very (and I mean VERY) rarely. We didn't live together because neither of us could afford to rent at the time. Her family was constantly asking me when I'm going to marry her and I'd always say, "I refuse to marry this girl and bring her back to her mom's house." I'm not sure how the hell I was able to even do a lot of the things I did in my 20s but I can tell you that anyone going through college and just working a job just to put money in their pocket isn't going to be making 100k any time soon. I'm 34 now and I'm just barely making 60k and I have no shame in that. I've worked hard and I'm still working towards bettering myself.
We ended up breaking up when I was 28 due to "differences" in life paths. And that's when my career started gaining traction. Funny thing is right around that time she decided to move to Japan to teach english because she was having trouble finding work in her field. She tried to get me to as well and get a "Husband Visa" which also required us to be married but I'd be soley dependant on her while we were there. I told her no and that's when she decided to call it quits which I was fine with. I haven't spoken to her in years and I don't regret our experiences. In fact a lot of them shaped me and have helped me realize what I'd like in a partner. Maybe it's the same for her. But if any guys out there do read this and you're in a similar position or dating, don't let anyone make you feel like you're not shit for being in a position that these woman are looking for. It's extremely unrealistic. As long as you're working on yourself and trying to become the best that you can be, that's commendable. It won't come overnight but you'll get there.

I went through the same type of journey of putting up with a lot of shit from my first girlfriend because I didn't want to be single or thought less of a man if I didn't comply. Once you break free from the spell, and realize that loving yourself is far more important than being in a relationship just to not be alone, you are truly free. Then you start building your life up, like you did when got traction in your career, and you start reaping the benefits. To the point where dating becomes simpler for you, sure it's harder to find a quality woman once you regain self-worth, and it also makes it much easier at the same time because you know what you want for yourself and in a partner.
I dated a girl who worked for 3 years of her whole life at a job. As an entitled house wife that was her entire working career. So, whenever I had a bad day at work she would say how easy my job was and if she were doing it that she'd be so loved and appreciated that she would get raises and promotions.
Welp... the day came where for whatever reason she "tried" to work. Lasted a whole 3 days. It was a cushy indoor white collar small accounting business too. I came to pick her up after her 2nd day and she was instantly saying how bitchy all of her coworkers were. She was annoyed to be told what to do. 3 days later I picked her up and she said..."hey you know what I discovered about myself? I don't want to work. It's not for me." LMAO!!! I'm like...nobody wants to work. For most it's not a choice. It's called being an adult with financial responsibilities.
Absolutely no respect or appreciation. All she saw was the paycheck. Not what you have to do for it. The getting out of bed every morning when you least feel like it. No offense Courtney and I hope you read this and maybe get back to the girls in the video with a few pointers which some of the guys raised here (especially about money, cars and related things).
1. All of their expectations about the man's salary are blown way out of proportion. Making 100 000 dollars a year at 25? Are you for real? That is impossible for an average man especially at that age. It seems to me that the salary is a non-negotiable thing for every single one of them. They might date a guy with less money, but will quickly dump him if he doesn't provide enough ... "comfort". I may be wrong, but that is what it sounds like to me. Some men might get depressed hearing this, because they know, no matter what they do, they will not be able to make that much money. Numbers are unforgiving in this matter.
2. Not once have I heard from any of them, what THEY bring to the table regarding the money. Some did say they want to make a certain amount, but the way they said it, it was obviously meant "for them" not for the family. Again, it seems to me like the money that the man made would be considered "family money" (as in their money) and the money they made would be considered again only "their money". Does that seem fair?
3. Every single one of them basically expects the man to provide for them and support them. Not once did I hear a notion of them providing for or supporting the man (money wise). It's obvious they would not stay with a man they would have to financially support. On the other hand, we (men) expect to provide for and support the woman, at least I do, I have no problem with that, but it's kind of depressing that the "other side" is unwilling to do so.
4. Nowadays everybody says how there is an inequality between men and women and how women have it hard and how they are equal to men. That is only until it suits them. Women want the best out of both genders. They want the money men make, they want to do the same things men do, but they also want to be provided for, they want the man to pay for dates, pay the bills, let them first through the door etc. etc. However I don't think that's possible. You can't have it all. You can't be a tender woman when it suits you and then a tough man when that suits you.
5. Last but not least. I don't think women appreciate how men have it hard. That is because we don't complain, but trust me, it's not easy either.

what I wish women understood is that when you earn that wage, it means someone else is not. you cannot simultaneously be for ending the wage gap and expected men to earn income at your level or higher. they are just contradictory and gains in one area will make the pool smaller in the other.

I find these videos illuminating and fun, and I don't take the responses too seriously. I do find find it interesting that a couple of the women responded that they want a guy in his 20s to be making upwards of $100,000. That's not common. Good luck with that! Mostly will be tech bros, finance bros, bros fresh out of law school, or bros working in consulting. But they're all working crazy ass hours too because they're new to their careers and are being run to the ground.

Not entirely true on "crazy ass hours". Outside of investment banking (and private equity/hedge funds, but these subsectors typically don't directly recruit undergrads or grads), most finance positions work less than 60/week. Standard work-life balance in asset management 40-50, same in corporate development, if you're a business/credit/finance analyst at a F500 company or a bank, you likely don't even work 50. For context, these people clear 6-figures after 3 years with almost 100% certainty, at least the mid-tier roles do, some back office ones won't.
BUT - this doesn't mean that the girls in this video are in any position to be requesting a 2% earner. I'm not going to comment on their looks, but are any of these girls top 2% for anything?

my parents combined don't make 100k. I had everything I needed as a kid, I went to school (I'm in Europe, so it's free, but still it's rent in the city, transport to school, all the books etc.), currently getting a phd, we have a 3-story house, all the bills were paid, I had good quality clothes, we went skiing, we went on vacations, when I wanted a guitar I could save up and buy one, when I wanted a hobby, we could afford it, when I wanted a game I could buy it, everyone has their own car, we went out to eat quite often, materialistically there's 0 I can complain about in my childhood. And this is with a COMBINED income of quite a bit under 100k. I didn't even have to work to contribute to this, if I worked a summer job it was just my own money.
Expecting 6 figures in your 20s is not only insane for possibility reasons, it's insane because you don't even remotely need that much money. What kind of luxury do these women want?
Job titles matter. I told girls in the past, I drive for a living. They didn't even give me a second look. They didn't let me finish. I own the company that does deliveries etc... I make over 6 figures LOL.

Sometimes people are saying things that they just think are true but as we know attraction/feelings often go against logic. Usually it is extremally hard to check where the truth is. I always keep it in mind when watching these videos or when reading AskWomen subreddit for example. The salary question helped to slightly expose what really stands behind those answers. It makes me and apparently many other viewers question all what was said in this and other similar videos. I still think that this format is interesting and useful. Thank you for your work, Courtney.

If you are an "Early to Mid-twenty" years old man that is already making 6 figures a year, it means that by the time you are 30- the age that most men get married you are a bloody millionaire. if you are a millionaire by the age of 30, in this superficial and shallow day and age, then YOU DO NOT wait for no woman to "pick you" you are the one that is doing all the picking, so this entire video, although it's nice and some of the ladies are quite lovely, is just ridiculed, its basically like football fantasy league it's just pointless, and for most of them it is just not going to happen.
I appreciate this video. It gives a lot of insight. Something really stuck out to me. The salary question and answers most of all. Most of the women I know have given very similar responses. Later on they are asked about the men's confidence and how it is unattractive not to be confident. It can hit a man hard and plays a huge role in their confidence knowing they cannot live up to this expectation by amazing women. The average salary in the US is 58k. Okay, what is the deal with everyone in the comments saying its unrealistic to make over 100k a year in your 20s as a guy? I work for a financial advising firm and just turned 24, and all of my coworkers are around the same age as I am (besides the vice presidents and execs,) and I don't think a single one of them makes less than 100k a year. Some are already making 200-300k in their late 20s. It really is not that unrealistic I feel. I feel like as long as someone is driven and ambitious, it is absolutely possible to make that kind of money. BTW money is really not everything to most girls, case in point, I have never had a serious girlfriend.
I'm a nurse(departments range from pediatrics to geriatrics to womens health to urgent care and ER), fit physique (people in the gym acknowledges my presence), and learning to get into IT. 34 and have great family and friends behind me. Also learning how to cook. Social skills are great, funny, and confident (though i am still learning how to properly approach women & dress myself). I read/audibles daily, hobbies (sporadic) like snowboarding, atheletic enough to learn other things, video games, dancing, singing, etc. I babysit and are great with kids and geriatrics. One of the greatest challenge right now is making 6 figures and more AND finding and meeting women like these "high value women".....wait you dont like my video games(or preffered hobbies?) Hm?....

As a 5’ 11” guy that makes six figures, this video was very depressing. I had to BUST MY ASS to get where I am today and I only just started making that money at age 29. Had to go back to school, work two jobs in customer service and live at home to save money and GRIND for the majority of my 20s. I’m 31 now and I can tell you I would never want to date someone that shares the mentality these women shared with regards to salary. Chase excellence kings, not women.

I've worked hard at maintaining a really good score myself so I personally find it important to know if they have a good or bad one. It tells me a lot about how responsible the older women are in the later stages of life.

I’m so glad you called them on the salary statistics. It took me a long time to climb above 6 figures and I’ve been on dates where I was told “oh you have an average salary”. Yes, it was hard work, but it was also a lot of luck. Most people will not cross that threshold. Social media has skewed perception so bad on certain things it’s ridiculous. Outliers represent the bell curve online when in reality they are just that outliers. If you are expecting results 2-3 standard deviations out I’ve got some seriously bad news for you…it’s almost guaranteed not to happen.

It would be interesting to get a group of guys and ask the same questions about what they want in woman.
It would also be interesting to ask the same questions to mature women and see how they might differ. Sometime young women come off as naive/shallow.

It’s not just about age? Could’ve fooled me! I’ve never met a single man willing to date women 40 and over, even they themselves are in their 50’s or older! Tell me where to find these men because regardless of how old I am, I do not want a guy who acts like age limits should apply to women but not to men.
