World 6-5 took me forever.... Omg. I did it so much, I could've done half the level without looking. Cool to watch someone perfecting the levels though. Good job.
Almost played Super Meat Boy with virtually no guides. I did watch videos before since I really wanted the game. Anyway, World 6 gave me a tough time, especially those last 2 levels. Thanks for a small guide on the optimal paths!

I’ve been stuck on the level at 2:32 for hours! I pick up the key but can never make it back down. I wish I could save It there! That’s the one problem with the game, you get past a really hard bit, then die and have to do it all again. I know it’s to make the game more challenging as that’s the point of the game, but I die a little inside each time I grab the key and get chopped up! You make it look so easy! I salute you and your skills
I'm late but for anyone stuck there, to go down after taking the key you need to slide just before a blade and then press the jump button just a moment pointing to the right wall, then go down and repeat to the left. The key is to slightly press and release the jump button.

Zombie Master I passed it now. But the boss fights last section. Dark world 4 and 5 are too hard. I have like 10 or so levels to complete to unlock the last level dark world. But you know... Ceebs.

@@tudorbebe7108 Nope, unfortunately not. I somehow didn't touch SMB anymore, until I was so out of it, I'd have had to replay a lot to train up again. I would still like to do it at some point. But by now, I doubt that I'll ever return to SMB.
If you're stuck on this level, don't give up! It's a really hard level and many people get stuck on it. The key is in getting the timings right, watch the video carefully and examine when exactly are the jumps made. Eventually you'll be doing most jumps easily by muscle memory only. Good luck!
@KikiKognito You have to press backwards longer time, finally it takes of from the wall, you could exercise it on regular walls, for example in the beginning of the stage. I think the hardest thing on chapter 6 for me was gettin down on 2:55 but finally got past it by accident..

It is a hard game...but because theres no penalty for dying, and most of the levels are designed to be completed in about 30-50 seconds, repetition leads to getting good at the game relatively quickly for most players. The game is good at compelling you to get better. Also, it's not so bad because the game's controls handle absolutely perfectly. Any mistake made is your fault, not the game's.
@TheMagicMan656 do you know a way to fix this? beacuse dr fetus doesnt even appear in my last level. I spawn but dr fetus isnt there so theres no one to kill at the end. WTF do i do.

Is there a save half way through the Final Boss(when you get the girl)? Hoping to God if you die on your way back you don't have to do the whole lot again?
on level 6-1 you can get bandage girl without getting the keys by going around the outside and sliding under the saw on top of the castle thing, then dropping in the roof
@LaggyG Obviously, the intro is almost the same, then goes in the riff plus the "ooooooh ooooooooh" chorus. The the camera behind them holding hands looking at explosions.... it's just too obvious.
maybe this is old news; you dont have to fetch the keys in 6-1, you can pass the razor on the right side of the tower by gliding past it up the wall. not even hard to do.
on the boss level, does he follow you by himself, or do I have to do something to follow me? he just stands still at the beggining of the level and I get to the end without him showing up :(
I'm playing the PC version of this at the moment and have just come to level 3 of this world, 'echoes', and the swinging saws that you have to manoeuvre around are moving much faster than on this video, leading me to believe it might actually be impossible for me to progress further... Has anyone else had this problem, or can possibly explain why?
Robbie McBride Wait until you get to The End stages. The Omega stage just may break your sanity. I can't do that stage and I've tried until my hands bled.
Did the fight with Dr. Fetus remind anyone of New Super Mario Bros. Wii? I know the very last part with you dropping him into a pit was obviously an intentional reference, but I don't know about the rest with you running from him while he shoots at you; pretty damn cool though :D
@BrendanRomanMusic Whoa man. I have this on a mac to. The only glitch in mine is the occasional one where the game pauses and MeatBoy teleports. Other than that, it works fine. Try geting a different version.
@R3FLEXs I finally beat it , the secret is to wait until the very last second and press a lightly and make sure your not holding down the run buttom you must do it twice to get past that saw part good luck! :)

If I had known you could do that jump in Omega at about 3:00, I would have beaten it in one hour, as opposed to two.
