Tim Curry & Eddie Murphy in the same room together now that's legendary
anyone here from 2020 watching
Fun fact: Tim Curry was originally going to be the voice of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series but was sick with bronchitis and was soon let go and was replaced by Mark Hamill however his laugh can be heard in the episode Be A Clown as mechanical clown
Tim Curry was the toast of Broadway at this time. Having his Broadway debut, playing the title role, in Peter Shaffer's play Amadeus. He was nominated for Tony in 1981 for Best Actor, but lost to his fellow costar Ian McKellen , who played the tortured Salieri.
THE WAY TIMS CHIN CRIMPLES WHEN HE DOES THAT SMILE I CANNOT DEAL
tim curry is soo pretty x
This honestly a BRILLIANT indictment of racism in entertainment overall and the lack of representation on SNL specifically. They had Garrett Morris at first but until Eddie Murphy showed up (to save the damn show honestly) they never really knew what to do with a person of color in the cast which was a shame. You know that Eddie probably wrote much of this piece and they used stereotypes to perfect effect.
Is it just me, or is it kind of funny that Tim is with an Eddie....again?
Tim's smile kills me. i died ten times watching this clip.
There is absolutely no way something like this would work these days, although it is a pretty funny joke (and Eddie seems to be ok with it).
That stage wasn't big enough for those 2 legends. Tim was getting such a kick out of Eddie, love it.
Tim Curry is so gracious to play the straight man and allow Eddie to do his thing.
"throw bread and leave wet drawers all over the floor - it's disgusting" LOL
2:25
Fun fact: these two were considered for the roles of Eddie Valiant and Judge Doom for Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Tim Curry’s 80s voice. He almost sounds like Rooster in Annie. And he does it without an American accent and without the middle-parted greasy hair like the movie. Tim, I love you and ur Tim Curr-isma
OMG Tim's whole presence made me melt
If Rami Malek and Bill Skarsgård had a child he would be the modern day Daddy Tim
two talented actors.
always love the way Tim talks and his voice 😍😍😍
