I salute the 5 brave service men that made their final journey back to Britain yesterday. How appt this music is. God Bless
God Bless all our soldiers.. my Ray was a marine in Vietnam and came home wounded in body and mind.

If you don't stand behind our soldiers, you're welcome to stand in front of them...
American or UK or whatever, they serve at the behest of the commanders-in-chief. The commanders don't always know better, this we know the world over.
The boys & girls who serve always need the love and support regardless of what your personal political views are. If you must speak, speak with respect, if you've never served - be silent, they fight for your freedom to speak out.
This song is beautifully done! God bless our men and women serving in our Military!
Sometimes I forget how much fear we endured in Vietnam until a song like this reminds me of coming home. The sadness, the pain, the lost feeling of leaving your best friends behind. And then the fear comes back. I was a Marine in Vietnam. I walked point, carried a radio, and led men in combat. None of us showed fear then. Coming home reminded me of how I felt there and hid it. Fear others will never know unless they lived it. The fear in those long nights out in the field will never leave us. Thanks to all those that have supported us before and now support us all from any war. To the rest of you.... I fought for you too.
I hard a hard time getting through this! Beautiful song...I think about the friends that didn't make it home. I think about all the surgeries my son who was with the 101st has had. GOD bless our soldiers, bless their families, and give me strength.
I appreciate your sons service.
Thank you very much!
thank you for your comments. I'm very proud to have had the opportunity to serve my country and would do it again if needed!
Wow.. I was in the 101st as well

Jeremy Wenger You are welcome!
Welcome Home. I did my time in the sandbox in 1990-1991.
Richard Michael Scarlett was my student in music from elementary all the way through his senior year of high school. He is a superb musician, but even more, he is a fine young man. I am very proud of him, and love seeing him being recognized in this way. God Bless You, Michael, and I love you! Kay M.
This song feels like a hymn to me. I feel awe and reverance when these men sing of their brothers and sisters in arms,
When I turn 18 I wanted to join the us air fores and become a military working dog handler and my dad was in the us army and thank you for your severe to both country 🇺🇸🇬🇧

Beautiful and amazing song.... God bless our soldiers and my family who served...
i dont want to distract from the awesome sentiment in this song but id like to ask everyone who enjoyed it and all the home coming and tribute videos to not only think of current returning service men and women but to take it a step further and wish the same gratitude to every Vietnam vet they see as they never ever got these sorts of sentiments or well wishes aimed at them, they got spat at, sworn at, feces thrown at them and called all the names under the sun all for doing the same duty - so please people take time appreciate them to and make them feel special as this is all they wanted when they came home to but never got. it is almost 50 years since it started and a lot of them still probably have never had a thank you like this - thank them for their service and dont blame them for the politics that sent them there.
We thank you Vietnam Vets; God's blessings upon each of you.
We should think of First World War Second World War and Vietnam war. They treatment shown to the Vietnam war was disgusting. They seemed to forget as they threw feases etc at them that these young boys had no way of not going they didn’t join up to become hero’s. They didn’t want to fight they felt that they should not have to but they were called up and sent out there. It was a blood bath and I feel that USA should have stayed out of it. So many died for their country but in many ways I feel they were lucky than the vets returning who were treated so despicably
HUGS X
I got there late, but got the full welcome home, with all the insults, epithets and cursing. I try to just not think about it. BUT, I do beg of you, do not treat these new returnees the same way. Just as with us, some will not be able to take it and with ask themselves if they just shouldn't check out and end the pain. And some will in desperation say YES. So Welcome them home, let them have their lives back PLEASE
That's right. That's really true. Coming up as apart of the stupid generation. It's very sad to see all this. But have faith. The ones who see the trouble we are going through, will stand and take a fight and be a part of something that u will be proud of. U didn't fight for nothing. There r still alot of woke people out here. Now let us stand and fight. U did ur part. Let ud prove it was worth something
“For the wounded and the brave, the one’s god couldn’t save” that breaks me every time.
my husband is going to Afghanistan in november 2010 and this song is my blessing song , it make's me feel strong and proud , staying here alone with 3 children is nothing compare to what he will gona have to live over there without us around him ...he is our HERO , my husband , there dad ..we love you so much and please come back home .....

SSgt. Tyrone Basnight has an immense voice! they all have great voices.
Thanks everyone for watching the video. Please continue to share and support our men and women in uniform. I know I appreciate the support as do my fellow soldiers.
So BEAUTIFUL Michael! Touches my heart so deeply. I cry for those that didn't make it home and for those with scars that never go away. My nephew did 2 tours in Afghanistan and is trying to come to terms with PTSD. To me, saying "Thank you" for serving, for laying your life on the line and exposing yourself to war is not enough. You should get whatever you want from our government and it's people! Glad you made it home!
Marsha Case I will pray for your nephew. Continue to share this video please until everyone has a chance to receive it's message.
I salute to all soldiers. My greatest frustration for not being one of them.
My brother died last month he was fighting for our country Love you big bro I was so sad I'm just 13 I wish I had more time with him and I could say I loved him. When I was on 6th grade he surprised me and after that I never saw him again and I won't until I die I miss him so much and he was my only sibling 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭I know he wants me to be happy and dream big and stay strong when I was younger we had a great relationship so when my parents had to tell me they were crying and they know I loved him forever and I always will
Bailey Hendricks god bless him and you 💖💖💖

Awesome! Great Voice Tyrone!
A great song that brings me to tears when I think of the sacrifices of our men and women in the military make as well as their families. I think about things I've seen, I think about all the surgeries my son, who served with the 101 in Afghanistan has gone thru. I pray that someday there will be no more war but if it comes, send me not my sons and daughters.
This made me cry. I am so thankful for our military serving this ungrateful country. I wish we could bring them all home alive. God bless

This song moved me so much it made me cry. We should all think about our soldiers that are out there for us to be free.
HAVE PURCHASED THE CD'S "COMING HOME" AND "LETTERS FROM HOME" BY THE SOLDIERS AND ALSO THE CD "4TROOPS"..THEY ALL TUG AT MY HEARTSTRINGS, NOT BECAUSE I LOST ANYONE TO THE WARS BUT JUST LISTENING TO THEM SING WITH SUCH EMOTION IN THEIR VOICES REMINDS ME OF ALL THE ONES WHO HAVE FOUGHT AND COME HOME TO RIDICULE AND DISDAIN FROM THE VERY ONES THEY WERE FIGHTING TO PERSERVE FREEDOM FOR..MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY SOLDIER WHO PARTICIPATES IN ALL THESE VERY TOUCHING SONGS..
HELEN38 BECKY I GOT MINE THROUGH AMAZON..THERE ISANOTHER CD OUT BY THE SOLDIERS AND IT'S "MESSAGE TO YOU" AND IT IS ALSO A VERY GOOD CD..I CAN SIT AND LISTEN TO ALL OF THEM AND THE TEARS COME AUTOMATICALLY JUST THINKING OF OUR BOYS OVERSEAS IN THE PAST AND NOW..I HAD TWO BROTHERS IN THE KOREAN WAR AND ONE IN THE VIETNAM DEBACLE AND FINALLY ONE OF MY SONS WAS IN THE IRAQ WAR SO I FEEL ALL THE HURT ..THAT OTHERS MUST FEEL..
So beautiful! Prayers that God watches over all those who serve and protect us along with their loved ones.
May the Lord bless each and every one of you who serve in our military. Here at home and far away, this Mother sends out much love, prayers, and appreciates everything that you stand up for. Remember why you are out there, keep your head held high, remember who you are, and all of us that can't wait until you return. Be safe, be smart, and be strong.
To TheSoldiersUK, thank you for both versions of this song, you have put into words how our heroes of all service feel, and how we love, and honor them. Bless you, much love, admiration, and respect. Christelle here in the U.S.A.
Agree about this song. Wow what voices. Tyrone has a great voice!
We need to support our Veterans where ever they served and those who are still serving. For those in America who don't think they deserve it, can pack their things and leave.
What a great song. I have tears... makes you think of all the soldiers, old and new that have come home and the ones that have yet to come back to us.
Becky Lasley makes me think of the Soldiers that fought bravely and gave their lives for us
Becky Lasley yes I miss my friends didn’t come home and I love you guys
1st battalion grenadier Sergeant here. I did 3 tours of Iraq and 2 of Afghanistan. I lost good friends out there. Thank you for this song.
What a soulful blend of voices.
Amen My husband and I served 20 years in the Air Force and during the Gulf War.
Our 2 sons and I buried my husband at Arlington
i dont think i can stop listening to this because i reminds me of my second oldest brother when he left to join the army...haven't heard any news from him yet, i dont even know weather hes alive or not because my first oldest brother died in action...all i can do now is just pray and hope that they can come home safe and sound...
As did I..I came home with head held high..I nobody will ever make me feel ashamed for defending those I love
Thank you Sharon, your service and time is appreciated. God Bless you.
Ur very welcome
I served with pride..n men like u make it worth it..ty..n stay safe my friend
Thank you for all you are doing. My boyfriend is in the US Army stationed overseas. I am very proud of him so much. I love you and miss you babe. This song makes me cry. 🇺🇸🙏 thank you again!
Same here! I shouldn't be doing this to myself and listening to these kind of songs, but one will come on and I can't turn it down, so I listen and get sad because I have a long time yet before he is home.
Stay strong sweetie and remember you are in this for the long haul, so you have to be tough. I know it is hard at times, but your man is depending on you, so make him proud as I am sure he is making your proud.
Big warm hugs.
Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you...is he deployed or stationed? My mate is deployed so we have another 7 months before he gets home.
As a Vietnam Vet, I thank you so much for this song. It was bad enough back then that those who died fighting in Vietnam, did not get a proper "welcome home", even those of us who came home with all body parts functioning, were dishonored, spat at called names. Or even worst of all, when we walked through the airport in our uniform we never got a single thank you or even hello! It's been 46 years and that still stings!....This song helped numb the sting!
Gives me goose bumps listening... Absolutely beautiful...
This song makes me cry 😢 😭 every time God Bless America 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 and all of our men and women serving our country may you all make it home 😪
Simply beautifully put. An American Army Soldier is making his way home. Not dying on the battlefield but by fighting on the battlefield over and over after being told nothing was wrong. You see he fought Colon Cancer but it was too late. At this moment he awaits GOD to send his fellowmen Angels to make that last flight home with him. GOD BLESS YOU LUPE MALDONADO. ONWARD AND FORWARD SOLDIER. May you forever soar the skies....
Bless him, not all of our Heros died on the battlefield, many came home and it took years after battle before they were taken, some from wounds, some from Agent Orange, others from other things...years later they took the Angel Flight as will your Lupe Maldonado.
I was brought to tears hearing all of your wonderful voices! Thank you so much for this wonderful heart fealt song!
Today I heard this song for the very first time. Sad to say I did not getthe chance to serve in the Military. Not because I didnt want to. I have a plan that included the Military for my life. I have and will always be proud of the men and women that do serve our country. Thank you. There is nothing like seeing a love one come home after a deployment. This song fits it very well. Again. I personal Thank you all for your service
Praying for my son who is coming home on leave from Afghanistan on Dec. 27th. Thank you for sharing this beautiful song with all of us who love someone who is "coming home."
