What makes these so deeply emotional is because not only are these people excited to have their family coming home, we know that for every soldier that came home, there were ten that didn’t, who never got to see their family, who never had this moment.
Cherish these moments, and be thankful for the brave and willing soldiers who never got to have this moment.

Honestly, I come to watch the vids when missing my 2 sons get's too bottled up. My oldest son is in the Air Force and my youngest is a Navy Man. My birthday and the holidays are coming and there is only 1 thing I pray for and that is to have both sons and big sister together with me again. It's not easy missing them but it sure makes me PROUD of my sons for their service to our Country.
Man got me on this one. Our military should always get the recognition for bravery, and being away from love ones for years at a time man priceless. Thanks for sharing this much love to our military and military families

I just want to say thank you to all the people that served in our country and made it home that is the best thing that ever happened to you and me my dad was in the army and he made it home safe because of God helped him and all the other people who served for and those who lost a loved one I'm sorry for that but like they say God has a day to take you home with him again thank you for your service
Nothing will ever compare to that time period. I miss those days... Now i'm camouflaged in a world of people that are dead inside, teying to blend in. My buds scattered with families and kids, and we're all alone on the inside, secretly missing those days more than anything.. Every time we get together wich barely happens once a year, we all watch these kind of videos and bawl our eyes out, trying to bring back to live that old feeling wich i can't explain. It was the best experience anyone could have.

I remember watching this a long time ago, or I should say as a kid in middle school...I always had my condolences when I first saw this for the first time, still brought me to tears...but as I am an adult now, I am talking to a person who is a Military police and its very hard missing someone you never have met and basically went through an LDR(long distance relationship) and it hurts to know that if they will ever make it back home or if I didn't, but watching these kinds of videos bring me hope and joy that I will get to see my favorite person one day out of his military duties.

As a military kid this hits so many chords I remember thinking every time my mother got deployed one day she’s not going to come back she’s gonna die and I won’t get to see my mother again so relief washing over me every time she came home and I ran to her was amazing almost overwhelming and I was crying everytime
