The Ravens really deserved more during the later years of Chima. The fact we didn’t get a Phoenix/Raven collab build (or a Fire Chi-infused wolf vehicle) during 2014-2015 still hurts me
Still like the idea of the ravens using the bottom part as a portable garage sale for the few times the vehicle actually lands

Kind of weird how the vultures didn't have a large airship that could just WAIT around in the sky since that's kind of their whole thing, but I do kind of like how this looks like something the Ravens would build to quickly airlift a large payload out of a given heist

Tbh to me it still looks like the hangar is the bottom jaw and the raven is just screeching its lungs and soul out, and I love it
I never took a close look at Misfortune's Keep but it had a unique silhouette. And this is a fantastic conversion!
I'm not sure why the ravens never got a big build, in my experience ravens can get fucking _huge._
It’s funny you mentioned those two ninjago helicopters since i actually modded them for the ravens a few years back. Great stuff
Suggestions:
Convert Sora's transforming mech into a lion mech.
Convert Kai's climber mech into a spider mech.
A vehicle based on an Osprey…with a Raven theme. How logical.
Bro did the ravens justice w this one🔥
The ravens stealing other vehicles and repainting them gives me "Deathskulls" vibes from 40k.

There are a couple others. You'll see when I do make a Gorilla-focused episode.
I could see the Knuckles mech from LEGO Sonic working well as a more agile Gorilla mech’s basis. Cole’s Elemental Mech from this year’s January wave of Ninjago sets could also work given the bulk.
Firstly, great mod. Second, you definitely have increased my appreciation for Chima!
Love how different it looks from the original. As someone not tuned into older Ninjago stuff, MOCs like these feel very fresh to me :)
Hearing someone call Sky Pirates "older Ninjago" makes me feel weird.

Sorry to hear you lost subs when this uploaded. Just want to let you know that I'm incredibly excited to see what's in store when you upload another mod. The creativity in these videos is so inspirational to me. It's the kind of stuff I used to do that I find more difficult to think up as I get older. Another great mod. Love seeing how your Chima tribes are built out
Most people say when watching a lego RUclipsr is lego should hire them but I think lego should hire this man for his writing I love his ideas
Yeah, ravens are cool and all but a simpler mod is to swap raven heads to daffy duck heads to make the ULTIMATE TRIBE

I’ve never really been that interested in Chima, but these Chima Moc videos are always a delight to see
I always liked big carriers for their the sheer ammount of stuff they can hold and the different gadgets and equipment they can utilize, and this moc is very cool as I love ravens!

Comment is mostly for the algorithm but man, you’ve got one POWERFUL beast built there, and it feels right for the tribe in question too.
That’s so cool! Although I liked the tiger tribe more than the ravens since they appeared. A big tiger AT-AT esque walker or something like that would be awesome! I’m terrible at designing functions, seeing as I do most of my designing digitally, so if you have time for it, that would be really cool to see. You could call it Tikara’s Tiger trembler or something like that idk I’m bad with names :)
I do have a Tiger mod, but it’s something that more closely matches the design language of the one big vehicle they do have. You’ll see.

That looks great! I’m not sure why the RUclips algorithm & certain viewers ain’t liking this as much. Looks perfect for a their tribe. Didn’t realize how little vehicles they had until now.
They have an okay amount of vehicles, they're just mostly small ones.

The Ravens are my favourite tribe. I also had the Ninjago Misfortunes Keep but sold it sadly. Nice build 👍🏼

Have you thought about building any base of operations or outposts for chima tribes? There was some for the lion and crocodile tribes.
Eh… I’ve just never liked buildings and playsets much. I’m more of a vehicles and animals guy.

I never got into Chima officially, I ended up just getting a few of their constraction sets for their fun pieces to add onto my Hero Factory/Bionicle builds. These mods look really need though, makes me want to find some bulk chima stuff and put something fun together!

Awesome mod and great song choice! Now I’m wondering how possible it would be to mod one of these into an Egg Albatross, it already kinda has the same shape. Might be worth a shot!
Dreamzzz’s Midnight Raven would also match the raven tribe thematically
I dunno… it isn’t rustic/clunky enough to me. It’s very organic and lifelike.

Love seeing the modifications themed around Chima. Chima had some great vehicle designs for both play and display, but the later designs started to get a bit too out there for me.
Luckily, I’ve made some modifications to those later vehicles to reign them in a bit

I reccon you could try a chima raven mobile base with the new dreamzzz raven set. (Perfect for Reagull)
Eh… it’s a bit too organic-looking, not rustic enough for Chima. Same problem I had with converting the Yellow Tusk Elephant for the Manmoth Tribe.
you should do a bear tribe moc if you would like to or ice bears either one is fine

The new "Dreams" Raven set would fit right in with the Chima sets
Not really.... Chima sets are very rustic, just machines and vehicles crudely imitating animals, and builds like that are too organic and "nice" looking to not stick out much. It's the same reason I didn't mod the yellow tusk elephant for the Mammoth Tribe.

Remember Reegull? He was the world of Chima’s first and only hybrid character.
However, disappointingly, he only appeared in one episode. LEGO really wasted the guy’s potential.
The moment I saw him, I thought he would pull a Frankenstein and raise an army hybrid warrior! Do u think u could do something like that?
