I actually modded knees for mine yesterday, based on Lloyd's 2023 mech's knee design... easy enough mod, but it made the toy worse. It could barely stand, at least on one foot. I changed it back. Much as I love knees, they're useless would good ankles, and if I have to choose one or the other, I'm loving these ankles. At least the knees are fixed at an expressive angle.
I agree with you unlike Cole and kais stone mech from a few years back, it looked like it was squating
Never thought I'd feel nostalgic for ankle pistons, but here we are. Solid set too, gives of great mecha vibes.
Bionicle: Toa of Ninja
Toa Ninjago
I think it looks so cool next to the titan mechs, such a cool silhouette and poses
I got this for my collection a couple days ago and I have to say hanging it around really brought out the kid in me. I love it so much. Very posable.
It does look really good! Thanks for an awesome video! 😊
This item is lego , so if one wants more articulation just modify to allow additional articulation dynamics
I realy want that set,it is just an amazing set.but im not an adoult so unfortunatly I cant get it😢
First set of March. I don't care, it is an insane mech. I am going to buy it. It is not even a question for me.
I know that red color fits this set but it would look much better with black axles on the legs
Today while looking at the Lego shelf in the store this set caught my eye, I was never interested in Ninjago, it wasn't interesting to me and as much as I like mechs I don't like the ones that look very organic and humanoid, however this one with its mechanical details is brilliant for me and I like it much more than 71785 Jay's Titan Mech, it's just feel more like machine.
Earthquake and duck bricks is done 💀
Are those claw pieces new? Why aren't they on the iron spider construction figure they're doing
Something interesting is that nyas samurai x mech from crystalized, has a bit more articulation then this mech. Which does make me question if they could have added elbow articulation
I’m curious though, is it possible to add knee articulation for the knees? It feels like there’s a possible way to modify it.
General grievous mech if you give him two more swords
Kids: Doesn't know how to pose UCS Hulkbuster
Designers: Ya' know what? Screw articulation!
Finally been waiting for this one
Kai ninja climber mech kinda looks like crimson typhoon from pacific rim
I don't think that you're alone with the complaint about not being able to turn the heads. Bricks By Mind also pointed it out in his videos.
The idea for adding additional parts for customization is an excellent idea, however sadly because it is a good idea lego might not ever consider this idea
lâu r k xem đắc đíc :')
Kinda wish the red was all the same tone and not dark on the shoulders etc
Tbh I would actually lobe if it had more dark red. The dark red brings a bit of variety and brings down the flashyness
Bros entire house is full of lego sets
Where's the link to the designer's account i can't find it it's literally nowhere
It's in the description now
Why is having many points of articulation confusing for kids all of sudden? Bionicle figures from 2006 onward always featured poseable knees, elbows, ankles and everything, and I don’t remember that ever being a problem
I think it stemmed from the stability angle, trying to get knees and ankles and stuff all positioned, especially if on an open ball joint. I feel like it was something said when the “SCCBS” stuff was starting for the smaller mechs with the locked bent knee/elbow piece.
(Mobile won’t let me edit this in) I believe Exo-Force might’ve been the reference theme for these issues early on?
Bionicle were lighter and more sturdy than system bricks.
Also, bionicle was aimed at a slightly older audience.
Look at coles titan mech. It has insane articulation but its 12+.
Most other ninjago sets are 9+ or 6+.
Owning both, I can 100% see the climbing mech be a much better playset than coles titan mech
wow this really looks like a 2010 set
The string arm being longer than the other really irks me
If it is true about the elbows that kid is gonna have to stay out of my sight😈😈😈
I love the mech build a lot but this set is just way too overpriced
I agree ☝️ it should be shortened to 50 u.s dollars 💵
The piece count is around 600 so using the normal price per part ratio it should be $60
At least it’s not that kid’s car for 50 dollars
it’s 70$ wdym overpriced?? It’s a ninjago mech there always 50-70$ bruh
@@ovecore ? zane's titan mech costed less and was huge. He's saying that for the size and piece count, it's not the best value. Not all ninjago mechs should be priced the same. like the $20 ones earlier in the year, they're smaller, therefore cost less. The person thought that this set was too small for it's price, so don't go around saying bruh as though you're better than they are, especially when you use the incorrect form of "They're"
