Absolutely loved your Ryza 3 review, to no ones surprise though Tara lol. As for JRPG's this month, it's mainly playing through Tales of Arise! I picked up Ys IX for PS5 as well but it's on definite hold as i also picked up the Zelda ToTK Collectors and i want to get to that on top of wanting and needing to play through Azure and Ryza 3 myself still as well lol! As for next month, mainly prioritizing those or just holding out completely, along with picking up Caligula for PS5 as well! I might honestly just wait till June/July - rather past them to play those games as Reverie and FF16 will take all of my JRPG time! As always, stellar work Tara :)
Another great video, and with Atelier Ryza being such a massive game, I really don't blame you for only really getting to that. In April I was playing a few things - I finished Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and Idle Champions ( an idle clicker game). Currently working on (still) - Gems of War and began playing Spider-Man Miles Morales. Good Luck on getting some more games in as well as continuing to enjoy Ryza 3. I also only played one game this month: Triangle Strategy. It was amazing, the last time I had this much fun with an SRPG was Fire Emblem Conquest. I loved how unique all the characters played, and how good the map design was. Some of the decisions the game has you make are really hard, and I loved that the decisions you make actually changed the recruitable characters and the battles. I got the morality ending my first playthrough, and I'll probably try to get the other endings later this year.
Glad i caught the video, a bit late tho .. i finished ryza 1, fire emblems DLC, and golf story ! Now Im in progress on trails from zero, ryza 2, sports story, and of course tears of the kingdom ! Happy gaming may yall !

But since last time, I did EVERYTHING in base Xenoblade 3 (I’m talking all quests and all special monsters and super bosses) and finally started to play both Death End Re Quest and SMT Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. I will definitely need a while until I get back to the XC3 DLC.
There are so many games I want play AHHH but I’m making myself not play until I’m done with finals in school. I really want to play that Xenoblade 3 DLC so badly aghh
It’s been a more low key month, finished 3 games and a dlc expansion: The murder of sonic the hedgehog, Lil Gator game, Donald Duck going quackers and XBC3 Future Redeemed. I was gonna play advance wars reboot camp and Star Wars Jedi survivor but xbc3 dlc got in the way and zelda just came out so not sure when I’ll get to them plus SF6 and FF16 next month oh my 😵💫
i haven't really played anything new in April or May myself, as June is STACKED with new games im going to try out. i did try a bit of honkai star rail however and it was cool. Ryza 3 looks gigantic and i can only pray i find the time for it at this point.🤣🤣glad you love it though happy gaming Tara.
I still haven't finished FUGA 1 by the time FUGA 2 came out, so I NEED to remedy this soon :P Speaking of them, developer CyberConnect2 dropped a bombshell a few weeks before the latter's release: they are closing down their Montréal studio in July. This really sucks as they've helped out in the game's development as well as their other games since opening a few years ago. Thankfully, our other Montréal-based game studios will pick them up in its wake as new people are always welcome. Regarding JRPGs, I haven't played much during March as I was mostly focused on other games I started recently. I do have listed out those JRGs that I did start out, so that'll keep me busy even though games like Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Thigh-za 3 (I mean Ryza 3 lol), and that Xenoblade 3 DLC all came out recently.
Had a similar experience myself in April. Finished up Azure in the first couple days then spent the rest of it buried in Ryza 3 which I thoroughly enjoyed. Currently playing Prelude to the Fallen and will either continue with the Utawarerumono series or alternate with the Gagharv trilogy while waiting for Reverie.
I finished Ryza 1 in April, because I want the full experience before jumping into 3 (Ryza 2 was my first jump into the atelier games last year ^^) & I started this month my trails journey with trails in the sky FC. I also dipped my toes into XBC 3 last month, but I’ll play this game later this year. So many games and not enough time
Life got in the way of playtime so I didn’t do nearly as much as I would have liked in April, but I dipped my toes into the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, Code Vein, and The House in Fata Morgana (VN, but fantastic enough that I feel compelled to include here).
In April, I played The legend of heroes: Trails in the sky 3rd. Right after finishing it, I jumped immediately into Trails from zero, which I should finish this month, loving this franchise so much. Afterwards, I'll be playing FF14 until FF16 releases. That's my roadmap until August 😆
I also played, loved and finished Atelier Ryza 3 but the other big one for me was Trails to Azure which I also finished. It was a great end to the Crossbell arc. However, it is the first Falcom game I have not got the platinum for as the final boss was just too hard on Nightmare and I have not found a strategy that works. I also started the remaster of Legend of Dragoon but was not that into it. Mato Anomalies has been the game I have been playing recently and will probably play the new Fairy Fence F game after that.
I just started my first Trails of Cold Steel game, something tells me I have just fallen into a deep well of addiction. All I just need to do is finish my Ryza 2 addiction, then 3. Theres a few good months of gaming.
I had my boyfriend who makes the music for the channel (and also really likes Atelier :3) make a piece inspired by Ryza 3, so it's one of his original tracks (his music channel is linked in the description) He hasn't uploaded that track unfortunately, but it's a really nice track :))
Games I played in April; Finally finished my playthrough of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Wasn't able to get the 100% since 1-2 of the recipes weren't unlocking. 100%ed Unavowed(point-and-click adventure game). I really liked that it had simpler logic than a lot of point-and-click games have. 100%ed Psychonauts 100%ed Qora. short 2D adventure game. 100%ed Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. Another point-and-click adventure. Probably my least favorite in the genre since I don't like the artstyle, but I did like the game's take on psychological disorders. Finished off the month and a little into May with Saints Row The Third. Throughout the month I had Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod running. There's some time-based achievements where you gotta be in a server(cumulatively) for a week, and then a month so I finally managed to 100% that. Other than that, I kinda bounced off a few games like Q.U.B.E. when I got stuck on a puzzle and didn't wanna look up the answer(Q.U.B.E. is in the same genre as portal) and Xuan Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament. Currently, including my May games, I've 100%ed A through N, P through W, and then Y and Z.
Veru interesting games, as always! Love the server one, sounds like it could be a pain, but I guess if you just keep it running it isn't haha Well done on your alphabet progress! Looks like you only have a few select letters to go :))

I tried ryza 1 recently and loved everything about it except the voice acting. It took me out of the combat.
