One of my all time favourite “What the fuck?” movies.
Whoever came up with the idea to make two ridiculously over-the-top actors pretend to be each other for an hour of screen time is an actual genius. This movie was glorious.

Hollywood today is on the rocks, and sinking fast. They did not bother to develop any new talent for years. With the boomers dropping left and right, they have really very few "star" actors to draw in movie crowds. Well, they can always just make Marvel super hero movies until they go under.

    • @bullgravy6906

@@stevenrobert8567 Chris Pratt is kind of one of their go-to guys right now, which they probably hate because he’s a bit more right-leaning and a church-goer. Sure he does the Guardian movies (which would’ve been nothing without him) but in the last year he was the lead in the top 3 grossing movies.
Other than him I don’t see a lot of new star power being consistent outside of hero movies. Maybe Chris Pine?

I was somewhat surprised that by getting a face transplant you also reshaped your body and took the other face's voice and personality. That's science. That's real.

This movie is a prime example of how the 90s were the golden age of blockbuster action movies! Or am I just nostalgic, being born in the 80s?

Coked up script writers room in the mid-90s:
Scriptwriter: it’s a film about a face off
    Producer: meh. it’s been done
Scriptwriter: hear me out. What if their faces literally came off?
Producer snorting another line of blow: I’m listening
Scriptwriter: Nick Cage is one of those faces
Producer: how does $100m budget sound?
